I think it looks great, It looks like a house from the Elder Scrolls Skyrim! The front reminds me of the front of Dragonsreach in Whiterun. I'm sorry to bump an oldish thread though

The red flag means either it is a differant fleet or it is a merchant ship. In the 18th century it means a differant fleet I think.

I think it is an awsome ship, love all the crew. However the flag at the rear is 19th century. (I can tell because of the diagonal red cross.)

What date (time period) do you set your pirates in?
venios replied to Captainmorgan's topic in LEGO Pirates
It's easy to say when the Redcoats (British) come into things as the Shako's only came into service about 1800 (I'm no expert). Also that is the same with the Bluecoats (French) as their Shako's entered service in about the same sort of time. Over all this puts the Imperials at about 1800 to 1840. -
My Roman Squad with Foederati/Comissariat

A contubernium is 8 men and therefore you need 3 more legionaires. I am also trying to get a contubernium like you. I only have 1 of them as of yet! -
They are Legionaires, a centurion commanded 80 Legionaires. Though moaning aside this is a good moc and I wish I had as many Legionaires.

In your casemate picture you show the guns facing out of one hole but they would be separate as enemy shells could easily get in and blow the interior fort up. Also the bastions are generally in more of a arrow head shape usually. Moreover commonly the forts were generally in pentaganol shapes. However this is a good and well detailed guide for making Fortifications. This is a simple model demonstrating the bastions and the shape. Yes this has no outworks on it but it shows a nice citadel. This is Tilbuby fort in Essex England. This has some nice outworks like all the ditches and smaller gun batteries.

Yes I should have used De Gothia's other wonderful flag but there wasn't space for it. -

In my scene there is a young peasant fishing and it looks like he has caught something, there are a couple of guards on duty however one seems to have fallen asleep. The reason for building the tower was to keep out pesky bandits. Also this is my first uploaded moc. Thanks Venios -

I claim this Calleva Atrebatum. It's between tower 1 and 2 I know there is no village there. It is named after one of the nearest Roman towns to me. -

A mint is another name for coinsmith so its just a quicker way of saying it. For example in Britain there is the Royal Mint.

Boo down with the yanks! Sorry I am British so I don't like the dead British. The whole scene is great though and I love the ruins.
