  1. Been wondering this myself, seen some reviews where people are stating it has really tight friction and others where it spins easily without friction...

I find it a bit too tight, making the function kind of annoying as it's hard to turn easily by the gear and it squeaks really loudly (at least on mine :sceptic: ).

  2. Anyone in Ontario manage to find the Batman V Superman sets on shelves yet considering our US neighbors already have?

Nope, but I've found pretty much every other 2016 set from other themes at Toys R Us.

  3. I wonder if we'll see DeathStar 4 in Episode VIII

Oh dear, no more Death Stars please!

I really enjoyed TFA, actually loved it way more than I thought I would! While most of the plot did feel a bit too similar to A New Hope, I think it was done to give the audience some familiarity to the franchise, basically saying Star Wars is back to its roots and will be unlike the underwhelming prequels that came out a decade ago. I'm sure Episode XIII will be much more original with new stories and plots.

I love the new characters! Rey is the best character Star Wars has put out since the original trio, and I'm excited for her future as a Jedi! Finn was great, too, and I'm really curious about his parentage (since Maz said she's seen those eyes before, I think they're hinting at someone we already know). Poe was awesome as well, and I can really see him as a Han Solo-type character, just wish there was more of him in this movie. As for Kylo Ren, I think it's interesting making him Han and Leia's son (I guess the Dark Side runs in the family :sceptic: ), and while he did seem a bit weak at times, it makes sense as he is still training with the Dark Side, unlike Darth Vader who was a badass right from the start, Kylo Ren needs time to get there. I'm thinking his arc might be about redemption, and bringing him back to the Light Side, I think that would make a very compelling character arc.

As for the death of Han Solo ( :cry3: ), I saw it coming from a mile away. I didn't want to see it happen, but I had a feeling it was coming. The way they did it though was very powerful, with his death coming from his own son, which will definitely have consequences in the development of Kylo Ren as a character. In a way, it sort of had to happen (besides Harrison Ford wanting to kill him off). I think Han would have taken the focus away from the new characters in the new trilogy, so saying goodbye to him was the best thing to do.

Overall, great movie! Probably my second favorite Star Wars film after The Empire Strikes Back.

  4. For those of you in Ontario, Canada, check you local Toys R Us, I found the entire wave there! I picked up Kopaka and Melum for now, and I have to say I am in love with them! I'm really digging the more Technic-based builds this year. It makes each to a a bit more unique, and it just feels more like Bionicle to me. I loved the sets last year, but this year feels closer to the older series we grew up loving, IMO.

  5. Everybody get their tickets for opening night? Getting close now.

Yes! Almost missed out when they first went on sale since sites kept crashing, but I got them for Thursday night at 7pm in IMAX! Can't wait!

  6. Black Panther looks great! I'm so excited to see him on screen for the first time!

The Civil War trailer was amazing! I love the Winter Soldier tone that they're going for, which definitely makes sense with the subject matter. That scene at the end with Cap and Tony just shattered my heart into a million pieces. :cry2:

This is definitely the movie I'm most hyped for next year, along with Suicide Squad.

  7. The new trailer was horrible. It brought down my excitement for this movie to an all-time low. It was horribly edited and had obnoxious, distracting music that sounds like something you could get off of iMovie. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex has to be one of the worst-cast characters in a long time, being super cheesy and unlikable, completely out of place tonally in this movie. Doomsday just randomly showing up at the end basically spoiled the grand finale. I knew they had to come together to fight a greater evil, but I was hoping they would save the reveal for the movie. I also hate how WW seemingly just shows up randomly, which I hope is just a joke in the trailer and not actually the case. Overall, it seems like the movie has a very generic plot, and they're trying to cram in as much as they can to set up the Justice League. I haven't lost hope yet, but it's not looking very good, in my opinion.

I do have to say, however, that I'm sold on Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman and I can't wait to see him. Also, the shot at the end with the Trinity was amazing! I love finally seeing them together!

  8. I LOVE this show! It's really great and I'm liking it better than Daredevil. Kilgrave has to be the scariest MCU villain to date. I'm up to episode 6 and each episode really is better than the last!

    I'm also hoping that

    Hellcat

will appear eventually, maybe in season 2.

Also, yes, there's a lot of sex in this show, so take that as a warning.

  9. I am not a fan of the greasy feel on my LEGO after letting people hold and examine my MOC. I wipe the MOC down afterwards. :classic:

Glad to know I'm not the only one!

A few questions...how severe are the cracks, how long have you had the figs before you noticed the cracks, where are the cracks, & how did you have them kept(displayed out or put away in containers)? I ask because I have had mine on a table since the day i got them, which is a couple of months.

It's pretty bad, on the right side of the torso going up to their arm on both of them, making their arm pretty loose. I've had the set since August and kept them on my bookshelf where I display my newest sets. They weren't attached to anything, just standing, and I never tried removing the arms or taking them apart, so the cracks pretty much appeared on their own. I handled them with care and never used them or let anyone else use them roughly.
