  1. It's been a long time since I posted a new fig, but here's my latest project, Judge Dredd (comic version) Custom Minifig. All his accessories, (Badge, Belt buckle, pouches, elbow and knee pads, and both shoulder pads) are custom made by me. His Helmet I also custom made using a Brick Forge Hoilite helmet as a base and building on that. The zip and chain and face decals are quick customs I made up. I'm actually really pleased with the helmet most of all, really happy at how accurate I got it for my own liking (I'm always my own worst critic). Anyway he's always been a favourite comic character of mine (despite what Sly Stallone did to the character in that awful movie version), so finally got around to making him. Cheers DrV Rest of the pics in my Flckr folder http://www.flickr.com/photos/34997082@N08/ or Brickshelf folder once modified http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=466655

    Strike Force

LOL!!!! Now that's funny!!! Nice work here, I also really like the stand/platform you have them on for the single shots. Nice and simple but looks like a mound so great for an action pose.

Sorry for the late post on this, but have been looking at your work on here, and this (along with your other work and Predator figure in particular) is AMAZING! Flawless sculpting, steady hands on the paint job...just Brilliant!
  5. The Bride / Beatrix Kiddo /Black Mamba (Uma Thurman) "Kill Bill - Volume". All Lego pieces, custom decals are my own except the face that is one of Jared's (Kaminoan), painted the sword and the hair piece. Thanks all for the great and positive feedback Yes the arm decals were tricky to get nice and straight but I used "Mr Mark Setter" and it helps allow me to move the decals into place and also gives them extra adhesiveness, then when in place I use "Mr Mark Softer", to make them curve and conform to the round shoulder. Let me know if you want to know more about these products, they are from Japan but found in all good hobby shops, (well at least they are here in Australia).
  7. I've been watching the great work in these forums and finally making my first post. I've posted on a couple of other forums before but hope to be a regular on this one. Anyway, here's the first of hopefully many. Torso decal and hat decal by Jared (Kaminoan), arms side torso and legs custom decals by me, (though it was still an edit of Jared's pattern), and Bat is from Brick Arms. The Cap has been custom modified by me from the standard lego cap, (not the new ones they just released with the short peak, though I wish I knew about them before I modifed this one!!!), then painted.
