    LEGOworld Copenhagen 2010

Don´t forget, your mom always knows everything An "after-event coke" will be fine though. Looking forward to see what vehicles you will bring. You sure got a lot to choose from. I am almost jealous because you are a great inventor of fancy vehicles. Can´t wait to see your contribution.

I say: Either the moderator who gave her the title is really poor in English or he deserves a real treat from us girls in the "girls room". And then I do not mean a nice one...

Dennimator forgets mothers are born with "The Force" seeing round corners and behind walls and time. "Yoda" is actually a nickname for "Motha". There are ways... ":wunk:"

Hi again, sorry for not answering for such a long time. I am "Dennimator´s moderator", his mum, that is. Now we know exactly the date we are travelling. We will leave Sweden 21. April and come back on Sunday 25. April. Attached you see our route. I think we could meet in Slagelse (sounds like a name of a fight) anytime on Wednesday. Is this OK with you? We can decide later what time and you could PM me your phone number later, just in case. What do you think?

    All important information about

Hi, since I already know who to sleep with(nothing intreaging though, it is only my children...) I wonder if there is a possibility to rent a room for 2, although we are 3? And ask for an extra bed, so we all three can have breakfast legally. What would that be / night? If this is not possible, we can split and share rooms with others, me and Elinor preferably with some other girls (we don´t want to change the theme of the event) and Dennimator together with someone else you find suitable. We are planning to arrive Wednesday afternoon/evening and leaving Sunday. Four nights. Three persons. Anything else we have to plan for, thinking about last year´s games? Aprons? Bathing suits? Helmets ?

    Happy B-Day Dennimator

Mom´s watching... I`ll check the contents first.
  11. Good that you added that extra info, because I couldn´t figure out who that was, it looked something like a big potato beside Dennimator... Duck?!? Before the ride she was all excited because we had done this before. Just when we had sat down in the boat, her face went blank and she bursted "Mommy, everyone is adult!" I looked at her smiling. "Yes, eventually everyone grows up, even you will". But I knew she was thinking about the consequence of 6,5 heavy weight champions tumbling into the water. Just think about the SPLASH! Another interesting thing about this was that I offered an extra raincoat to anyone. Ras said self-confidentely "Who needs it? I am not afraid of a little water". It turned out he came out looking like a cat from a shower, dripping wet.

    The worst member ever

Hi everyone, since this is a forum for LEGO-lovers, LEGO-designers, builders and inventors I will probably be the worst member ever. Why is this, you may ask. Well, let me tell you: I have practically never built anything with lego, except from helping my children using Mega Bloks before they were old enough to be trusted lego parts without swallowing them. But as I understand using the word Mega Bloks here is worse than swearing, so I am already risking to be banned from this forum... But I am a great fan of you guys who turn those little plastic pieces to wonderful creations beyond imagination. And I happen to share home with a person who dedicated his spare-time and spare space at home to lego building. In fact, I am the one trying to control the fenomena before it threatens to spread in the whole house. First the garage was occupied with a lego town under construction. This person close to me started out a project, making a lego animated movie. Since there no longer was room for the car, the project had to move to the outer room of the house. Now more than 30 square metres are occupied with the town project in different stages of planning, building and ready town quarters. And since the room of this person is also occupied with different stages of this project, I have my hands full of trying to control the flowing inspiration and limit it to those two spaces at home. And to you who actually stepped on lego parts with bare feet, you know what I mean... Anyway, after this year´s event in Günzburg, I can only say: Lego connects, it builds bridges over language barriers and connects over age differences. So who can resist it??

No, honestly my last time I has spent on using my lasermachine as a building project, picking it apart and putting it together again, since the system crashed. But as soon as I am on track again, I will keep on searching. By the way, there is a way of using Lego, that I think nobody here ever thought it could be used. I´ll post a pic and link soon in the News and General Forum.
  14. Do not even mention the "extras" and the "goodie bags". Your contribution is really awesome! I appreciate your efforts. Dennimator is already planning Windsor, but after reading your post, he will problably be booking the hotel rooms already... Of course if Holodoc will not be the coordinator again...?
  15. I have to agree it was an amazing event, even though I did not participate as a member, only as a following company. But since now being a member, perhaps next year I will participate as a member as well, even though being the worst bowler ever... But Ras74, you have to practice on that swing, be careful, Miss Pink is dangerous... One hint only: some of us oldies can not stay awake after midnight If the competitions will take place after that, the young fresh will definitely be in advance... Thank you all for making this a truly happy memorable event. It made my days! And Dennimator can not stop talking about it...

Wow, this is really impressing. I am glad so many of you guys/gals took time to reply. I really feel warmly welcomed. Thanks a lot! Thanks Dennimator for blowing my cover But please do not mention my age... I am not so glad for it, and some young people close to me think "ancient fossiles" do not have so much to contribute with when it comes to lego-building. Except when it comes to ask for opinions for improvments and design. Yes KimT, he actually paid for everything except for the petrol, boat tickets, food, some spending money, extra expences, spareparts (for the real car), souvenirs...

Hi Rancor, yes, my favourite theme is "City". Not that I know how to build them, but they are fabulous once built. Thanks for the welcome.
