2004/2005 Hunting Star Wars Sets and availability

100% agree with last post about better to do the DS 2... more interesting than just a sphere. JUST about finished mine... Only a little table space still taken up be to-be-used bricks. :) 2 little construction notes... 1) First time I've ever had to REMOVE bricks from a model (according to directions); though I know why they did it. 2) I think its kinda sad on the LassrDish bit that they try to FORCE (haha - no pun intended) a shadow!! they use dark grey and light grey bits & panels to make you think its got DEPTH. (Sure, anything like that WOULD, but to incorporate that into the bricks means you have to have it at a certain angle with the right lighting to make it look right.) Definetly, too much thought & care on my end... but whatever. -
Everyday is school; always learning something. :D I feel too old... finished high school LONG time ago ( 21 years ago!) and college (12 years ago). :(

Well, I'm having fun building mine. The worst part is finding the bricks from the masses. http://community.webshots.com/user/mikel000 -
Not really sure if this is the right forum for this, but I thought this was the greatest and most interesting fun software I've seen in a long while. Also don't know if this has been posted before since I'm new & too lazy to read every message. ;) Called MLCAD It's a 3D design software using Lego bricks & pieces! Instead of the usual LINE, CIRCLE, SQUARE, SPHERE, etc drawing tools, you select from pre-created Lego bricks. Colors are changeable. Figures are included also. Availble in multiple languages. I've not had enough time to really get in-depth with it, but the little I've played with it was fun!! URL: http://www.lm-software.com/mlcad/

(I've been wanting this one for a long while...) I'd love to see a bust of Darth Vader (sized like the Darth Maul one). And I thought there were a lot of black pieces in the DM kit!!

No to the Kabaya (I didn't even know what that was :o - had to Google it.) Glad I did though, b/c then I checked Ebay and found a mini-kit that I don't have!! (The promo Yellow Jedi Starfighter). Hopefully, in 4 days I'll attain my 106th set!! :)

Just a "hi" to everyone. I'm MikeL - live in USA. Collect all Star Wars Legos [system, Technic, UCS, Mini], but not the Writing Tools. Just got the new Death Star II; making the 105th SW Lego set in my Collection. (I need more shelves!!!) I grew up w/ Star Wars and grew up w/ Legos. When they combined the two, I KNEW I needed to start collecting. Been collecting them since the original SW sets came out.

Hi all - new member here. Got my DSII yesterday. The "ship wheels" are internal; they go on top & bottom of the Vertical Support; I'm thinking the circular disc pieces attach to make the top & bottom curves of the DS. -- More pieces than I thought I'd ever see at one time, overall. Mine didn't ship with the label for the placard. Wrote Lego already; they're usually good about things like that.
