I see the public sector control sheet has been updated. But the planet ownership and points tally have not been updated yet?

Now the Dark Side has some points in sector P9, which is needed for the Light Side to get to Rorgam. What are the rules for sectors that are contested by more than one faction? The first faction that reaches 100 points gets control of the sector? How many points are needed to overthrow the leader?

Hmm, thanks for point this out. The sheet just needed to be refreshed. It should be good now. I need to look into how to get it to auto-refresh.

As for grid control, it's the first to 100. After that, it's either increments of 50. So the next team to 150 or 200 would be able to re-take or re-assert control. As Thaum said.

I had a question about how people prefer to store their minifigures,

I've been concerned a lot about torso cracking that I've had in some figures between 2013-2019 mostly, and am trying to take the best course of action to prevent or minimize it.

In theory keeping minifigures disassembled, or the legs not fully attached reduces the amount of pressure on the torso and can help prevent cracks. But I wonder if you stored them that way, but frequently assembled and disassembled them when wanting to use them, would frequency or infrequent assembley more likely to increase cracks than just leaving them assembled would? I'm curious if anyone has experience with the subject?

I think it depends on what you intend to do with the figs. If you're going to display them then keeping the torso and legs attached is probably best. As you said constant assembly and disassembly could weaken the torso. If you're going to do minifigure customization I'd store them separate. That's what I do. Parts will break every now and then, but I think keeping them stored separate has been best.

Storage; I've scaled through this thread i've been volun-tasked with organising my collection; In truth my sets suffered from repeated "high velocity unscheduled rapid dissassembly" courtesy of my delightful kids, SO I now have the task we all love; sorting/organising my (now) parts..

My current 'solution' is a a mix of multi-drawer organisers, small/medium/large size clear boxes (gotta love Temu), a hard christmas bauble case. and several Stanley Organisers (both 'standard' and 'FatMax Deep Pro').

As I'm UK based and finding the multidrawer organiser cabinets (I would hope you know the type actually quite therapeutic to label and organise, I'm wonder if any of my UK based breathen can direct me to the best value organiser cabinets/cases?

A side note for this thread, If not already attempted/suggested; Can i float the idea of a similar thread but with country/region specific suppliers/shops listed? I see several US/Canada store references (Lowes, Target, Home Depot etc), a few UK outlets mentioned (B&Q, Screwfix, The Range etc) and region specific instances of Amazon. The aim of such a thread would be a single place that newbies to sorting can combine with this thread, and have an informed idea of where to pick up such solutions.

Back on point, UK fellows; best place to get part organiser multidrawer cabinets - I already use Screwfix/Toolstation/CEF for Stanley cases (Electrician by trade) as they tend to be best value for the aforementoned Stanley organisers..

    Many thanks.

I'm in France and the best option I've found is Stanley. I buy them off Amazon when there's a good sale.

100x100.JPGL3-37: Congratulations, you're liberated. Scoot. ... I don't know. Free your brothers or sisters or something.

Unbeknownst to her, L3's words would have repercussions 15 years later. Some of the droids inspired by her act in "liberating" them escaped Kessel and have carried on a quiet rebellion across the galaxy. Until know their rebellion has been quite, simple acts like poisoning the drinks of their masters or tempering with the repulsers on a speeder. But something has changed and now beings on planets everywhere are facing open rebellion by droids of all types!

    Dark Side
100x100.JPGOur facilities on Rasterous have reported droid trouble. We can't afford to have any delays with their shipment of supplies with the Rebels trying to exploit any perceived weakness. Find and deactivate those droids at once!

    Mercenaries
100x100.JPGWhat's that pounding on the door? Oh, it's a droid wanting equal pay or it's weight in gold? Blast it for me will you?

    Light Side
100x100.JPGA droid has taken hostages on Thustra? And another has disabled our X-wings on Tierfon? We have enough to worry about with the Empire still trying to destroy us. Quick, send some ships to deal with the problem before it gets out of hand!

200x200.JPGYour efforts are futile. We will have our revenge on the lifeforms!

    Contest Specifics:

No gimmicks, just double points! Each person can build in each category up to 2 times for a total of 8 entries maximum. Entries will receive a score based on the sector entered for the contest. If you submit an entry for R10 your points will be placed in R10.

Cat A: Show what kind of ship the errant droids stole from Kessel. Was it a fighter, a freighter, or something else? Did they land it successfully or did it crash? No need to build an entire ship, you can build a partial one and show it crashed on a planet's surface. Just make sure you pick a planet in the sector you're building in. There's great opportunity for Storytelling points here.

Cat B: Show a droid liberating another droid(s). Is it a protocol droid removing the restraining bolt from an R2 unit? Or is in an R5 unit communicating code with a binary lifter?

Cat C: Not every droid is convinced that freedom is what it wants. Show what happens when a droid rejects the idea of rebellion. Is it tortured by the other droid(s)? Or does it convince the rebellious droid that it's acts of violence are illogical?

Cat D: Repercussions! Show want happens when a droid goes rogue. Is the pool filled with hyperdrive coolant instead of water? Are the pets set free? Is the owner murdered in his sleep?

    The Rules:

    • All entries must be entered using this form: Link to Submission Form
    • All rules in the Core Rules topic apply unless otherwise stated in this explanation or the rules above.
    • There are no restrictions on the size/form/content of the builds other than the specifics described above.
    • Each person can enter up-to 8 MOCs for this contest, 2 for each category.
    • All entries will earn XP for their team based on their score. Winners will earn additional XP.
    • The Episode will run from Apr 13th to May 27th. As long as it is still May 27th somewhere in the world, you can still enter.
    • Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified from the episode and will only earn normal XP points.
    • The criteria by which your MOCs will be scored is 1) Storytelling, 2) Aesthetics, and 3) Technical Ability. You can earn up to 10 points in each category for a max total of 30 points per entry.
    • This episode/contest is open to all players of Mysteries, even if they joined EB or signed up for the game after the episode has begun.
    • All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to the start date of this episode. You can use creations for this contest in other forums or contests, but it should not have been displayed before the start date for this contest.
    • All entries must be built from real LEGO or with Lego Digital Designer. 3rd party parts may be allowed if used to customize characters and in small quantities. I.E. guns or decals. 3rd party bricks are not allowed to be intentionally used (if you have a Megablock 2x2 brick in a wall of Lego bricks you won't be penalized).
    • You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited,.
    • All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC.

    The Prizes:

    • The team with the most points pre-bonuses will get an extra 10 XP in the sector of their choice. The team with the 2nd most will get an extra 5 XP.

  4. After a massive search and rescue operation the missing ships have been found!

100x100.JPGThe Mercenaries with 3 entries, one in each category, have scored 29 points (before bonuses applied).

100x100.JPGThe Light Side with 1 entry in C, have scored 15 points.

100x100.JPGThe Dark Side with 2 entries, both in A, have scored 27 points.

blogicon.png The Mercenaries, leaving from Formos in T10, passed through and ended up in Nimia in S9. Their points will be placed in S9.

blogicon.png The Light Side, leaving from Phindar in P6, passed through Lucrazec and ended up in Arda in Q6. Their points will be placed in Q6.

blogicon.png The Dark Side, leaving from Commenor in N10, passed through Zeltros and ended up in Kashyyyk in P9. Their points will be placed in P9.

The Mercs won an extra 25 points to be placed where they want.

The Dark Side broke rules and built 2 Cat As, so as a penalty The Light Side gets the extra 15 points and The Dark Side gets an extra 10 points.

Let me know where you want those extra points placed. It can be anywhere you currently have access to.

I don't think the Lady Jessica would remain very long in Jabba's Palace like that. She has the Voice at her disposal, and who knows how well Bene Gesserit wiles work on space slugs? Unless - gasp - you're not telling me the big green character is an unreleased prototype of Leto II Atreides, are you?

    Here’s what I’m thinking:

Phase 1 clone battle pack: ARF trooper, 2 clone troopers, 501st Lieutenant. Includes minifigure scale AT RT, droideka build and Red macro binoculars.

Ryloth AT TE:  Armoured Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Phase 1 commander Cody, Commander Pons, Waxer, Boil and Razer. Has a AT RT deployment play feature.

Droid Artillery: Luminara Unduli, P1 Commander Gree, Desert ARF Trooper, Updated Tactical droid and a bunch of droids.

UCS Twilight: Armoured Anakin, new seasons 1-3 Ahsoka, P1 Captain Rex, Denal, Echo, Fives and Cad Bane. (Updated Rotta the Hutt would be included.)

Yes, please keep Wishlisting in the appropriate thread.

Sith infiltrator was the only set I looked forward to the most this year not counting the Mandalorian battle pack.
The build looks horrible, the price is even worse cause we are paying $15 for the "free" anniversary figure.
No Panaka that was rumoured is criminal, only 3 figures for the only The Phantom Menace anniversary set with figures for 25 years is so outrageous.
Do not want or need Saw Guerrera, but I have to ask why are they not using the Echo (from Marvel) leg piece for him? Why are we still not using the monkey kid hilt for Maul? Why Fives wasn't in this set and Saw in the New Hope/Rogue one hallway?
No special tile or a brick showing Maul or something special from The Phantom Menace to celebrate the anniversary like Return of the jedi got last year.
25 years since the movie and we still do not have majority of the characters and the ships from the movie.
Idk how anyone can support or have excuses for this absolute thrash that's thrown to us for premium prices.

No offense, but some of these complaints are pretty unreasonable and others are misdirected.

Putting aside the fact that I have no clue where you're pulling $15 from (but seriously, what?), I think it's pretty clear the anniversary figures are not the issue. Lego could and would have sold us this set, with three figs, for $70. They've had worse prices. That doesn't make it not an issue, but the fact that they're giving us anniversary figures isn't what the issue is- it's the prices, and based on the other revealed sets with 25th figures, there's no reason to assume they're playing a significant role in price inflation. The issue isn't that Saw Guerra is adding an oddly specific and high cost to the set, it's that lego's inflated prices significantly.

The system sets don't have special anniversary bricks or tiles. This might be a reasonable complaint for the droideka or podrace diorama, but it doesn't really make sense for the infiltrator. There was no reason to expect it would have one.

I'm more with PreVisla on this one. But I'm quoting these two points of view  I as a reminder that each is entitled to his/her own opinion on a set. Agree or disagree with each other. But do it in a civil manner please.

I am surprised we have not heard about the next magazine gift yet. The issue with Chewbacca should release tomorrow or Saturday in Germany and usualy some people get it early. Hope we'll get a 5th minifig in a row! Fingers crossed

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the red clone trooper here in France. I see a bunch of them on Bricklink being sold from Germany. Has anyone seen the red clone trooper outside of there? We still have tons of Palatine magazines.

Am I the only one who sees a potential Gondor armor on the DnD CMF dragon? And maybe the same mace for Sauron?

Maybe we can have a couple of men from the Last Alliance with that armor in Barad-Dur... Fingers crossed :excited:

I'd bet money those "leaks" for the CMF are fake.
