    Xbox Live...Few Questions

$30 is very good for the 360 wireless network adapter; Target's $100 is pretty much the going rate. Yep, it's horribly overpriced. But! I think it is possible to connect through a laptop, though I haven't done it myself. Take a look at this: http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox...connection.aspx

    Xbox Live...Few Questions

Hello VBBN! 1) You need to have your modem/wireless network adapter connected any time you want to play online, since that's how your Xbox accesses the net. 2) You can use a credit card to buy Live either straight through your Xbox (on the dashboard, go to My Xbox, select your gamertag and choose to upgrade to XBox Live) or you can buy a prepaid card from a retailer on the net. The second option is usually cheaper, but I don't know if any sell one month cards. Jasper1675 is a good one if you ever want to take the plunge and get 13 months, and they'll email you the code, so you don't have to wait for the physical card to arrive in the post. 3) My pleasure ;)

Some quick questions about the new trains

Thanks for all your replies. The reason I asked is that my girlfriend (very kindly!) gave me my first Lego train, 7898, for my birthday last week, and I'd hate to have to scrap most of it once the newer stuff comes out.
  4. Has there been any official word yet on the track the forthcoming power function trains will use? Will it be the same as the track used with the current RC trains? I did a search but I couldn't find any answer from Lego themselves. Sorry if it's been asked before.

    10193 Medieval Market Village

Thanks for the welcome, brickzone. :) I fired off my own email to Lego, but they haven't replied yet. It's a shame there aren't any Lego stores in the North. It'd be easy to pop over and pick up a copy of the set, and you could have a nice day out on the difference in the price, too!

    10193 Medieval Market Village

It's priced at €116.99 in Ireland's S@H, whereas every other Euro-zone country gets it for €99.99. Puts a sour spin on the set I was looking forward to the most next year.
