What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

Bought the same set off Bricklink for $120 Canadian, grabbed 7956 Ewok Attack too. Same price as retail for 8038 only 4 years later seemed fair enough. Looking forward to combining it with the Ewok Village set this winter!

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

With what LEGO did recently with $199 10237 Tower of Orthanc I could see being repeated with three trees having detailed interiors along a similar style, but shorter. A platform between them and at least one additional medium-large vehicle. With the AT-ST being in the 8038 Battle of Endor set back in 2009 I don't know if that means we'll get another so quickly. Maybe a system-scale update of the 7166 Imperial Shuttle? There's never been a $250 playset-style release from LEGO. 10195 Republic Dropship had 1758 pcs and was $250 while 10188 Death Star is $399 for 3800 pcs.

The poster in the Reddit thread said the crate was being shipped to Toronto. A new LEGO store is opening in the Yorkdale Mall soon... I'd guess it's a display for that.

The Gunship is an LAAT/i while the AT-TEs were carried by the LAAT/c. LATT/i LAAT/c: Although the 'actual' ships were designed to be modular, I can't see any indication that TLG followed suit. Without extensive mods I don't see how they would be able to work together unfortunately.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

Just picked up Hoth Base, 7879, from Toys R Us here in Canada for $59.97... which is 50% off Canadian MSRP. I haven't put it together yet and it was honestly a set I hadn't planned on getting but at half price it was too good to pass up!
