I actually like the new Grievous a lot. Enough to actually want to buy his fighter for it. (That and the Nahdar Vebb figure. ) I like the new head mold, just not the neck, it needs to be shortened. The Torso looks fine to me, and I love the shoulder plates where the arms connect. The arms themselves are alright by me, and the connection method is good, just not perfect. Now what I really love about him are those legs. They're just so mech-ish that I love it. Boba is alright too, but I do think his helmet could've been a little bit more mold-oriented and less detailed. The guns kind of annoy me too. If they're gonna put a technic pin on the end of one, at least make it black. And why does he come with Grey accessories, such as the gun and helmet antenna? I like the antenna being grey, but the pistol should be black. I also don't know how I feel about the sand blue, but it's still a nice fig. If I have the money for it, I'd get this set. Or maybe just order a Boba and Bossk off Bricklink.

I have to agree that Lego won't do it, only because Star Wars sets seemed to have given up on smaller vehicles. Even if they did make an AT-RT set, they'd still bump the price on it to a ridiculous amount. Now what they should do is make a set of 2 or 3 AT-RT's with Mace Windu and ARF Troopers, and maybe a couple BD's in there to throw in some competition. But I have to admit the AT-RT in the CTT is much better than the last incarnation of it. The only issues I have with it are the simplicity of the legs and the size of the body. I think they could've made the body a little bit smaller and it would've looked better. But I still love it and can't wait to get the CTT this summer!

Interesting stuff for sure. Allow me to give my opinions on all the pics that have developed lately. The CTT is Awesome. The Tank itself is nice, especially the 2 seated cockpits. I'm not too happy with the manned-turret on top, but I have a good idea on how I want to mod it. The AT-RT is nice, but I might change the legs, though it looks pretty good in the toyfair pictures with it's legs completely bent. I like the little command center, as it reminds me of the one from the RGS. Cad Bane and Aayla look amazing, and I'm glad I'll be getting such great minifigs with this set. And where I would be ecstatic if they somehow still included a Tactical Droid in there, I have my doubts about that. Here's hoping they decide to make a CIS Colored MTT with a Tactical Droid and a new Droideka. That Slave 1 is looking pretty sweet too, but I've never been that big a fan of that ship, so I'll probably pass. I might pick up the Shuttle for parts though, and I know I'm gonna pick up Cad Bane's speeder since it'll let me get some Senate Commandos for a cheaper price.

Agreed. I usually browse until I find an interesting comment, or when pics are released just browse til I find links to the pics. Sad, eh? And that's after 2 years of just lurking anyway! I have to admit, the same thing keeps happening to me. At first I didn't think it looked much bigger than any normal large set, but then I took another look at it and was awestruck for a moment. I also love the yellow sticker near the back, clearly visible in the sneaky picture. All I hope for is that the front and back wheels are connected better this time around. I remember on the old model mine would always fall off. As far as Cad Bane is concerned, I love the figure, it's just the smile looks a little goofy to me. I tried to see the same smile in the screenshot from the show, but he looks so much more evil in that screenshot then he does on the CTT Poster. It's cool though, I love the minifig, and I'm glad they made one of him (like they weren't going to anyway, eh? ).

I really hope Cad has a double sided head. He needs a nice devious look on his face, not this smiling one. And before I noticed how bad the right arm on the Wampa was, I was all for picking up this set, but his right arm looks so much longer than the left it's ridiculous. Aw well, I'm much happier sticking to the Clone Wars stuff anyway. Looks like the CTT is the main concern for me this summer. :D

Ha, I love the Wampa now. It looks so much better, that I may have actually decided to get this set. I honestly wasn't feeling it based on the preliminary pics, but this little guy is too awesome to pass up. Besides the fact that I'm pretty sure this guy is playing with the AT-RT (UGH, I wanted to see pics of that so bad!), did anyone else notice what kinda looks like a minifigure standing on the back of the CTT? I'm not completely sure about it, but if it is, it doesn't look like any of the figs we've seen for the set so far. Awesome. I kinda like Cad Bane, except for his smirk. I think he would look better with just a serious emotion on his face, but I like the rest of him for sure. Aayla also looks great, and I'm pretty sure they went with the molded headgear, which I'm actually pretty happy about. Don't get me wrong, the softer plastic used on Kit and Plo works well, but this definitely keeps the classic lego feel of the figure. :D

New box art, sweet. The Clone BP definitely looks good. I would like to see a close up of the 2 clones in the lower left corner, but it's cool. But in the AAT, that yoda head looks unchanged? What happened?

True. I guess I shouldn't jump the gun like that, but it's definitely more likely than the wiki list. I still really want that Tri Droid, especially if it comes with another Captain Rex. I erased the Jaig eyes on my first Rex from the AT-TE to make a standard blue ARC Trooper, and I would like another one.

Amazing news! Confirmation of more new sets. Though, to be completely honest, the only one that I'm sure I want is the Tri Droid. I might get that Republic Star Destroyer if I have the money, but that's a big if. Other than that, the rest of the sets sound awesome, but also look expensive. Plus, I'm a big Clone Wars fan, so it's no surprise that not many of these appeal to me. Though that Geonosian Arena could be pretty awesome.

There's only one thing I hate about waiting for new sets. As soon as the ones you're waiting for come out, there's pictures of the next wave of sets ready to tempt you until they're released. I'm pretty excited for the new AAT. I've wanted a remake of that for so long, and now it's finally coming. As far as the wiki list, I refuse to believe any of it at this point in time, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be awesome. They now have an "AT-TE Walker Transport" on there. I assume they're talking about the LAAT/C carrier? A set of this has always been a dream of mine. But again, I highly doubt it.

In argument, they released the original Clone and Droid BP's in the same year as the Rebel and Imperial BP's, didn't they? But anyway, This list does sound to good to be true. There seem to be WAY too many sets coming out at once for this to be completely true. Though that Tri Droid is still sounding amazing. I could use another Rex to turn into a blue Arc Trooper. Other than that though, the only other set I'm really interested in from the Summer line-up is the Y-wing, and that's only if it's the republic one. I'd like to get the Republic Star Destroyer, but it sounds like it's going to be huge, and I'm not excited about spending alot of money for the second summer in a row. Speaking of which, I like how the fig count for the RSD jumped up from 20 to 25...

Hmm, that summer list sounds sketchy indeed. If it's true though, I am kinda lookin' forward to the Republic Star Destroyer. With 20 Figs though, it's gonna be expensive. I just hope it has good figs, if not, I won't pick it up. Also, I think the Republic Y-wing would be pretty cool. If it's small enough, I'd definitely pick it up. But overall, the summer sounds expensive as usual. If it doesn't appeal to me enough, I might just skip the whole summer line up. Though I will probably pick up 3 or 4 sets from the January line up. And I'm definitely getting multiples of that Clone Battle Pack. I just wish there was a cheap way to get Clone Pilots...

I will admit, they don't seem to think about where they place their minifigs. Remember the Shock troopers piloting the AT-AP back in January? Put short, I just want some more pilots. A cheap way to get 4 or 5 pilots is all I ask. EDIT: I know it's not an AT-TE Gunner, but I just looked up AT-TE commanders on Wookiepedia, and it says that they are able to play any role in transport operations, including piloting. I guess that technically means you could use them in place of pilots on ships such as the RGS, but I would much rather like to use actual pilots. I need to find a way to get at least 2 pilots.

While this is exciting news, I would still prefer an actual pilot to be included. I know it probably won't happen, but I find that the Gunner should've been included with AT-TE, and that having multiple pilots would prove more beneficial, seeing as I need 4 for my RGS (which I'll be picking up tomorrow night). Although, I could use 2 gunners in the wings of the RGS, I will still need 2 pilots for the cockpit. And right now I'm not too eager to pick up the V19, and I don't think I'll ever really want that Attack Shuttle. Ugh, what a dilemma.

Oh! Awesome! For the most part, the Tri Droid, and the sets that we now have pictures of, are the only ones I was really excited about. Also, I'm a little dissapointed that the droid BP is Assassin droids. Not saying that I need more BD's, but I was hoping for another blue STAP. One last thing, the Attack cruiser bugs me so much. I keep looking at it, trying to make it appealing to me, but I just don't like it yet. The colors aren't too bad, but I don't like the yellow. Also, some of the construction just doesn't resemble the actual vehicle. I dunno, here's hoping it'll either get better, or have a good price tag. EDIT: I understand, and agree. lol thanks for the welcome back. And thanks for reminding me about the Arc Trooper in the BP. Though, if you want to be techincal, the Clone with the gear could be considered an "Arc" trooper, since they said the normal Clone in the TX-130 with gear was an "Arc." Don't get me wrong though, I really hope to have either a red or a blue Arc Trooper.

I forgot I had an account on here, and was just watching for the longest time. Anyway, 09 sets are amazing. I love the Clone BP. I'm curious about this wierd Clone Pilot, and I wish it was just a regular pilot. I don't even have the V19 yet, and other than that the only other regular pilot we know of is in the Attack Shuttle. As for the Attack Shuttle, I personally do not like it. The design is a little rough, and the colors are way to wacky to appeal to me. The Droid BP is alright. I don't know if I really want the droids that much, but I love the colors of the speeder, so I'll probably get it for some nice pieces. The AAT looks great. I'm really excited for this one. I've been waiting for an AAT remake for the longest time, and a CIS blue color scheme makes it even better. I only they would decide on The CIS blue or TF Brown color scheme, because now half of my Droid Army doesn't match the other half. Eh, whatever. The Hyena looks interesting. I don't really know if I'm sold on it yet or not, but I'll probably know when we figure out the price. And like others have asked, what happened to the Tri-Droid? I was really looking forward to that. But these sets are still just as good.

Why aren't there more pics like this surfacing? lol. Anyway. Hmm, more Battle Droids. I don't really need anymore. It's whatever. So long as the DGS is around 30$ I'll still buy it. As far as the TX-130, I'm still upset about that price. I really want it, but since I'll already be spending 210$ for the AT-TE and RGS, and then probably another 50$ between the DGS and HSD, I really don't want to spend much more. Here's hoping that estimate is a little high.

Alright, so can someone convert the other 2 to estimated USD prices? Also, WTF?! 49.99 for the TX-130? Is it just me, or does that seem a little high? I might be able to live with $39.99, but 50 bucks for it seems a little overpriced. Especially since it doesn't come with any amazing minifigs or anything else to warrant the price. Maybe I'm overreacting a bit, but I just don't see $49.99 when I look at it.

I finally found the hinge you're talking about. My first thought was it was just a piece to give the "head" of the DGS a slight tilt, as it is supposed to be angled down some. But now that I look at it closer, it does seem like an independant, hatch-opening hinge. That being said, I still don't think it will include a pilot droid. As it's been said before, the DGS is a droid, and thus would not need a pilot. As such, I think the possibility of a droid brain of some sort is pretty likely, and the hatch is there just for its' removal.

I'll admit, that does look a good bit darker than the Dark Pearl Grey ones from the battle packs or the HFD. I really hope they didn't switch to Pearl Black. It'll be the third time they switched the color of the SBD's, and for what reason? Meh, whatever.

If you're speaking of the Guns held by Commander Cody and Commander Rex, those are new Handguns for the Commanders to use, since revolvers never really fit in too well. I have to admit, the CW sets are awesome indeed, but the Figs seem somewhat disappointing. I like Asajj, Ahsoka, and Plo Koon, but the rest are so-so. I'm definitely buying the sets for the vehicles, not for the figs. And I just realized, I never picked up a Jedi Starfighter W/ Hyperdrive Ring to get myself a Kit Fisto! Oh No!

Alright, so I spoke too soon earlier. Anyway. My wallet hates TLC, but I love them. Here's my opinions on the whole Clone Wars batch. The RGS and AT-TE were already must-buys for me, so there's where a lot of my money will go when they come out. The V-19, while awesome, isn't too appealing to me, not because it's a bad ship design or a bad set design, I just don't want to spend the money on it. The Magnaguard fighter is the same as the V-19. The HSD. Though I will admit it looks pretty simple, I still want it. The red Clone is pretty frikkin' sweet (by the way, is he Dark red? it looks like he might be.) and it would be a nice addition to my CIS army. The Tank, while a little stubby, is nothing short of awesome. It's a must-buy, though I would like to see the price soon. The Twilight is actually kind of cool in my opinion, but I don't want to spend the money on it. And last, but not least, the DGS, in my opinion, is amazing. Though its' lack of minifigures is somewhat disappointing, I can only hope that will keep it's price down. It's another must-buy for me. The DGS has some interesting looking missiles falling from it; I can't wait to find out how the bomb-dropping mechanism on it will work. By the way, I see multiple interesting additions on the TX-130. 1: The front end of the tank, in between the 2 Republic symbols, has a hinge piece. This could be the opening to the cockpit. 2: If you look closely, it looks like the turret on top is connected to what looks like a small white turntable with a grey disc. That means the turret could spin (at least to some extent.) Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

So I assume that there are no new pics of the HSD, TX-130, Twilight, or DGS? Will we ever see pics of these sets? Though the fewer clones in the RGS and AT-TE is disappointing, I wasn't expecting more anyway. Also, it took me forever to switch my army over to Phase 2 clones back when the Episode III sets came out, I don't want to have to switch back.

So wait, can someone give me a rundown of the release dates then? Are the sets being released at the end of June? Or is that just in specific locations? Also, does anyone know the US release date? Or is it the same?

I dunno about you guys, but I'm really itchin' for some new pics of the second batch of sets. Shouldn't some new pics be surfacing around the end of this week on into next? And I need to start puttin' some money away to help pay for the AT-TE and RGS.
