Timelapse of the build of the train. Not many new things to see, but we get a little peak of what's inside the tender and the hallway of the carriage. The compartments have printed sliding doors.

I don't know if you have read the books and are confused by that, because those scene's in the books happen on different days, but in the film they happen on the same day, that's why Harry's wearing the same clothes in both scenes.

The conductor you guys talking about is the Muggle Station Guard, from the first and second movie. The conductor in this set is based around the conductor from the Hogwarts Express as seen in THIS scene from the fifth movie.
Better quality photo for reference:

I also thought that. Looks like the train doesn't stand on the rails but hangs above it, if you look closely to the front of the box. That way you can turn the wheels without moving the train from its position.

I really like this set. The train is absolutely perfect, beyond every expectation. The platform is on the small side, but for what is there, instant recognizable and very detailed. I agree with most comments about the minifigs, who aren't very detailed: absence of legprinting, however the pics on the box are just renders.
I'm glad the leaked Lupin, does come with his usual hairpiece.

Thats part of the tender, for scale.

All I can ever recall is the set releasing around October 1st, and if we're fortunate we get an early VIP release. I for one will be very surprised (happily so) if we see a general release on September 1st - even if it's just in Europe.
Not a general release according to Brickset, which shows data between October 1st and October 4th. Mostly a VIP-early release mid September.

I did my best. I used the CMF midlegpiece instead of a fullsize-one because of the nice printing.

Promobricks had now explained the meaning of there post, saying: ''There seems to be some confusion. The set will include a 8x16 printed tile featuring the ticket to Hogwarts. But the reveal should also be the August 16th."

I did and in person it is much better.

I don't know if it has something to do with the scale of the train, or with wagon count. If the last, maybe there might be more than one wagon.

@Brick Clicker on Instagram: ''New rumors are suggesting the train might be a lot bigger than originally thought... Not long till we find out for sure"

Back on topic:
My sets from round 2 arrived today here in the Netherlands. I got the Bowling Alley and LEGO Store.

The link goes to this page. The text on that page literal says: "We’re getting ready to conjure up something rather magical. How magical? Just ask this Ravenclaw™ legend…" They will reveal something I think.

If I remember correctly this is usually the pattern past polybags like the hermionie one have followed 2) does each bag contain the same parts, even if they’re meant to make up the 8 diff parts of the castle? I noticed there were a lot of unused pieces in mine 3) does each bag have the same instructions? It only shows the instructions for the great hall section of the castle on mine 4) does anyone here have instructions for the other parts of the castle and 5) does anyone have a photo of all the parts put together?? Thank you in advance for any and all answers!
1) Here in the Netherlands it is available through some retailers as well as in Germany. 2) Already Answered above. 3) Yes 4) You can find custom instructions for free online, made by @Micmac here.
5) I don't know.

It says so in my account as well for both second and third round sets. That date updates every day, so the day it should ship is always 'today'.

In Swiftbricks review, she confirmed that you can combine the new GWP with the rest of Hogwarts. She also stated that there are no prints. Everything is stickered.

You remember that correctly and he did last years one as well. According to his website, he is the designer of upcoming sets 76404, 76405 and 40577.

Marcos Bessa had left the Harry Potter team not only as a design lead but as a designer as well, he confirms on his instagram. "I have left the project end of last year to venture into new and exciting things (..). I still have a couple of LEGO Harry Potter products to reveal this year" he says.

This video shows that you can do that. It runs continuously:

I think there's a pinhole visible on the bottom floor on the left next to right archway. You can see it on the back side of the box, when the stairs are centered.

Brick_Clicker on instagram has news about the upcoming GWP:
''The Great Staircase
Contains two castle walls at a 90-degrees angle and the stairs can be rotated and the walls have various portraits displayed on them. Hermione Minifig Included. Likely GWP Coming July!"
-
Stonewars.de has a better resolution pic of the upcoming advent calender via a Japanese LEGO Catalogue. We can now clearly see the contents displayed on the front of the box.
Not all microscale builds I think; the Globet of Fire with (probably) Harry's name, should be minifigure-scale, although a little on the small side.
Like last year, there is a game included.
