^^ and one of that sets clearly was a 'dots'-set. This should be confirmation they just ditched the 'dots'-branding, not the format as was mentioned in their press-release (via Brickset).
QuoteAfter careful consideration, we have decided to exit the LEGO DOTS theme and integrate tile-based play into other themes within our portfolio.

Buildable Stitch and two encanto sets are on Insta now. Stitch is very good IMO.

According to 1414falconfan in a reaction on a comment on his instapost, the € 200,- isn't the leaked Burrow.

Yeah, that's a possibility.

The survey listed a 2388-piece count. Nothing on this list comes close to that piece count.

1) Gringotts. An amazing set, worth every second we had to wait for it! Contender for set of the year, along with Rivendell.
2) Battle of Hogwarts. Finally, after all these years! Never thought I’d hold a Scabior minifig in my hand
3) Second task. Now that’s how you do a remake! Such a cool upgrade with A+ minifigs.
What I liked about the line this year in general were all the new prints (galleons, pygmy puffs, chocolate frog pack), the fact we got three proper DH2 sets, the return of the classic AC, and all the new characters!
2024 is looking good so far too, except for the lack of new characters in the first wave. The second wave has to deliver big time to make up for that!
This ^^ (Thanks for writing it for me )
But I wanted to add that there are a few new characters in the first wave for 2024, just not human, like Trevor (first time he has been confirmed I think), Pidwidgeon, Fang and Norbert.

I noticed the movement, but the eyes in the final product are cheeseslopes, but in the leak it was just 2 holes in the hat. It looks like there is more 'hat' around the eyes too. In the leaks, there were cheeseslopes in the eyebrows, wich are replaced in the final product by other parts. I even think the placement off the movement in the eyebrows has shifted from the 'nose' to the outside of the eyebrows.

The shape of the face is a little different and the eyebrows are made of different parts.

A picture of the Sorting Hat is on instagram. It has an exclusive Harry minifig with new faceprint with his eyes closed.

January wave of 2021?

The back of the instructions has the modular buildings on it. It could meant something, but I do not remember how they advertised it back then.

Pictures of the Winter Market Stall, 40602, are on IG. It comes with 271 pieces and is part of the Creator theme, according to its box.

According to Bricklink, the torso's for Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are new in this years Trunk. But I think, thats just because of the Reddish-brown hands the former torso's had. In the trunk all the hands are dark-brown, as those from Gryffindor and Slytherin are in all sets.

Michael Gambon, who played Albus Dumbledore #2 has unfortunately died at the age of 82.

3 hours ago, Seaber said:Fat Lady, the Longbottoms and Charlie Weasley only appear in photos or paintings, so I'm not expecting figures of them.
Thats true, I did not expect them either, until last year. We got a variant of Sirius in the Advent Calendar who's wearing something he only whore in a photograph. Furthermore, we even got the founders of Hogwarts in 2018, who only appear in promotional material for the movies. Therefor I think there are possibilities for these characters.

30 minutes ago, krimimimi said:Also, if we're counting Bem and Nigel, then iirc Pike was missing from the PoA list.
Off-course we count them. LEGO makes these sets off of the movies. They are in it.
QuoteHonestly, there's so much there they could sell to me over time, and I can't imagine I'm the only one. lego, take my moneys please.
You're not the only one. I absolutely want a Diagon Alley 2 with pretty much everything you mentioned. And Its compatible with Gringotts too, so Diagon Alley doesn't need to be around that long as long as Gringotts is on the shelves.

The best I've seen so far.

Character Movie Speaking or Non List Apperence Thanks, I updated mine. Some minor things:
- Alicia Spinnet, Millicent Bulstrode and Eloise Midgen are all Non-Speaking.
- You have the Housekeeping Witch twice in your list.

38 minutes ago, TheInvisibleMan said:I’m interested to know why people are so excited about Hagrid’s hut? The previous iteration was absolutely great and I don’t think a remake was needed. Obviously Fang and Norbert are a draw, but is this the only reason people are keen for this?
The previous iteration was based on the hut from Prisoner of Azkaban onwards, while the new one should be based on the one from the first 2 movies, which basically was a different hut.

36 minutes ago, BrickBob Studpants said:60?! Are you counting every single random background student and Death Eater?
In terms of actually important characters, it‘s closer to twenty or so.
I count as LEGO themselves count. As they included even Florian Fortescue or Proffessor Sinistra I have added known non-speaking characters as well. I've separated them though:

6 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said:- Sets: Durmstrang ship, troll on the loose, third task, Lovegood house
- Minifigs: BoH Ron, Xenophilius Lovegood, Narcissa Malfoy, Bill Weasley, other variants of Lockhart with the BTS hairpiece, Karkaroff
The list gets shorter and shorter, but there are still some notable gaps I hope we can at least partialy fill next summer
I want to add Umbridge office at Hogwarts to this list and then I'm good.
2 hours ago, MaxHeadroom said:Do we NEED them though?
I go with the answers from BrickBob Studpants and Seaber. For Harry, Ron and Hermione in particulier I want every possible variant, especially now with the decreasing possibility of new characters in sets, from whom there are around 60 left.
-
I aspect nothing, but the car cán come with new exclusive variants of both Harry and Ron. The outfits they weir in their escape from 4 Privet Drive are different from the outfits we got in both the Whomping Willow and 4 Privet Drive sets. The same goes with Hagrids Hut. If it will accurately represent Norbert(a)s birth scene, then the trio ánd Hagrid should feature new and exclusive outfits. Even McGonnagal could weir an exclusive outfit, in the boathouse-set, if they go by her outside dress from mostly Philosophers Stone and Chamber of Secrets.

Not new. They have done it in Creator Hill Side House, set 5771. It has a doorbell and barking dog sound in that. I stumbled across it a couple of weeks ago with cleaning.
