    Bricklink questions

Thank you! Now that I have made my wanted list, I want to find the store in Australia and Oceana that has the majority of the parts on my list. I am on the "Wanted" main tab, on the sub tab "By Shop". I can sort by: Store name Store Location Lots (Total) Lots (Unique) Items Which one will show the shops in the order of which has the majority of the parts on my selected wanted list? First timer, pardon the detailed questions Thanks, Kieran
  2. I tried that 2003 version from the google docs link first, then tried the 2007 version. Both allow meto open LDD manager, but as soon as I click the "import model, review bricks colors" (etc, the top one) it crashes with the run time error. Strangely, it did open once. It sucks, I really want to get my bricklink wanted list set up. i dont want to compile the list manualy :s
  3. Thanks for the quick reply! Access is fine as far as I know, I downloaded from official Microsoft website. As for the run-time errors, I can open the manager main page from either the VBscript file or the large Microsof Access database file. However, if I click on the "import and review models parts and colors" it does not open and closes with the run-time error: (it did work once. It is not a huge ldd file at all.) "Execution of the application has stopped due to a run-time error. The application can't continue and will be shut down".
  4. Hi, having trouble with LDD manager. very unstable, lots of run-time errors. Barely usable. Using Access 2007, windows 7 H.P. Downloaded LDD manager from Google Docs. Is this version known to have troubles? Thank you, Kieran

    Bricklink questions

Quick question: How do I create a new wanted list in bricklink? I cannot find it for the life of me! The help page on the topic seems outdated. Thank you, Kieran
  6. Hi, my name is Kieran. I typed my name wrong on sign up... I am one of few who build very accurate technic scale motorcycles. I have experimented with the liftarm equilateral triangles found by googling "lego technic triangles brickengineer". I have made several triangular planetary or epicyclic gear systems. They contain the sun and planet gears, but no annulus (outer inverted gear casing). They may be suitable for many uses, including wheel hubs and turntables. I wanted to share them with you. Various gear ratios. The two on the right use normal gear meshing, however, for the ones on the left, I found pairs of bevel gears inverted to face one another not only a good fit, but the method locks the sun gear in line with the planet gears. The arrangements on the right need support for the sun gear axle. Plenty of room for reinforcement and attachments. Lets see what you can use them for! Putting the epic into epicyclic gearing For more information about planetary gears visit the wikipedia page. (just realised I cant post links yet.) Google it. One of my motorcycles, a since superseded design. I now have ribbed hose for exhaust, however I have no shame in painting the tire writing. It looks good
