  1. I'm planning the Elves Mafia for July at the earliest, so on my behalf please go ahead with the hosting, Bob.

    Heroica RPG General Discussion

I still have all my pictures stored on my harddrive, and many of them are uploaded to the wiki already, but if there's anything particular you need, just give me a holler.

    Heroica RPG General Discussion

And here I thought the pictures disappeared because I ended my Photobucket subscription, but apparently it was some other problem with the site. If I ever host another game here, I now know not to make the rules in picture form.
  4. I would love to host the Elves Mafia, I just need to start building the treetop city I've been planning for years. I've just had a busy couple of years now and my lego hobby has taken a sort of backseat where I collect stuff but don't do much with the collection. But this summer I think I'll devote more time to my lego and Eurobricks.
  5. Yaaay! Congratulations to our team! We got lucky, but we also worked together very well. So apparently fhomess killing jluck overrode jluck's kill, since Peanuts was watching me as I protected myself on Night Three but he saw nobody targetting me. I don't understand how legoracer got a town result from investigating mediumsnowman, but maybe we'll hear that soon.
  6. I can almost understand Thrawn's panicking, but why do you care which one is lynched and which one is killed in the night? Your role will be confirmed anyway. If I haven't missed anything, you still haven't told who you investigated on Night 1. We could really use that info.
  7. Thrawn was blocked, that's confirmed. Isn't that the simplest explanation for a lack of scum kill?
  8. There's still the option that Thrawn, Dellus and Greer are all working together, though. Greer only needs to survive to win, after all. I am still inclined to vote: Thrawn (mediumsnowman) because his voting has been more scummy than Needa's. I'll change the vote if a lynch is jeopardized.
  9. Did you mean Needa's loyalty? Daala was hammered by scum votes on both Day 1 and Day 2, so it makes her very likely to be loyal. Why would Needa then claim to her before he was under any suspicion if he was scum? That's what I'm questioning - although I could be the one who's being bamboozled here. ?
  10. I have to add that Needa claimed to Daala yesterday, and I trust Daala is 100% loyal unless she was converted last night. And there's a watcher who saw Needa targeting me on Night Two, that's why I know both Needa and Daala are speaking the truth about the blocking. That's why the case against Thrawn (who didn't offer himself to the vig unlike Needa, by the way) is much stronger in my eyes. Of course if Thrawn turns out to be loyal, then my trust for both Needa and Daala are proved wrong. Dellus's claim is interesting and adds one more layer to this dilemma. If Dellus is telling the truth and if Thrawn is not a godfather, then Needa is the next target. I support the plan to lynch one and vig kill one, but it's up to the majority to decide which one is which.
  11. The vigilante said they didn't do anything on the first night. And yes, I indeed remembered wrong the way Isard went down. That explains the lack of claiming...
  12. I'm in favor of lynching Thrawn today (keeping up with yesterday's discussion), and Needa tomorrow if Thrawn flips town and Needa survives the night. It's just the most logical thing to do, as those Vulcans mentioned on the first day would say (probably, how would I know really?).
  13. It has happened before when scum get narrowed down to a few. The scum in these situations should be able to kill or convert every night despite their other abilities, otherwise it's not balanced. Not that I'm personally displeased by this situation, but I imagine the scum are getting desperate.
  14. I was privately contacted by many people yesterday since my loyalty was pretty much proven by the traitors' voting pattern. So yes, I'm currently holding a lot of strings but I've also ensured that the info is not only in my hands only if I get killed or converted. I haven't heard of an investigator yet. We might've lost one with Isard although she should've claimed to someone before the lynch if that was the case. Taking converting into consideration I would expect there to be one to three traitors left, but of course we have no way of knowing for sure. If it helps to confirm my honesty, I have been in contact with the vigilante and I knew they were going to target Komec before the night fell. With my contacts I could've easily stopped the kill if I were scum, but because it happened we now have a solid town block going on.
  15. First of all, congratulations are in order towards the vigilante for ridding us of another scum! Not so much to celebrate with our voting yesterday, but we all knew the risks. It's my turn to offer an apology to our Grand Moff Tarkin, albeit posthumously. Now, the case of the Two Blockers. I guessed something like this when I was informed that I was targeted by a blocker on Night 2. I later found out that it was indeed Needa. There was surprisingly no scum kill that night, although that could mean they got to convert someone. It was I who indirectly instructed Needa to block Thrawn (although it was a logical choice anyway) to test his loyalty, and lo and behold - we have no scum kill. So either Needa has been carefully slithering his way into the Town Block, or things are exactly as they seem and Thrawn is scum. The third option - that they're both town - is just absurd.
  16. I don't know what good dragging out this day does to us since nobody seems to have anything new to bring to the table, but so be it. I'd still vote for Tarkin over Thrawn today since he had no way of pre-empting Jellico's demise. So, maybe the scum felt safe yesterday trying to draw the crowd's attention to me instead of two of their own. Of course Tarkin's blatant preaching over being "99% sure Ozzel is loyal" would be a major fluke for a scum player, but - WIFOM - maybe Tarkin wanted us to think so too. After all, the lynch was already confirmed and Tarkin knew what he had already said. Tarkin's vanilla claim also makes it easier for us to lynch him - if he turns out town, we won't lose a PR. Thrawn and Needa for example are riskier choices in that sense at this point.
  17. Of course we might be wrong with Tarkin, and I personally haven't heard of an investigator confirming his or anyone else's allegiance. But we as a town got lucky last night when Jellico was killed and none of us weren't. It might mean the scum got to convert instead of kill, but still there's room for error now. Even if Tarkin turns out to be town, tomorrow we can lynch Thrawn or Needa, if nothing new comes up.
  18. We only have your word that you were doubting your votes, and that's nothing compared to the way you fervently defended both Ozzel and Jellico yesterday. Even now you're trying to cover that up and explain it away, but it just feels so transparent. I don't think there's any better option today but to... Vote: Grand Moff Tarkin/LegoMonorailFan
  19. Apology accepted. I think today's strategy to weed out the remaining scum would be to list the people who are most likely to be loyal. There's much to be learned about how people accused and voted for each other in the past few days. Grand Moff Tarkin/LegoMonorailFan - He strongly defended Jellico yesterday and even went as far as saying he's 99% sure Ozzel's town. That makes him either a scum or just extremely oblivious. He's currently on top of my list of suspects in any case. Grand Admiral Thrawn/mediumsnowman - He's been very quiet, and was one of the people who pushed my lynch. So he's on list of suspects. Admiral Piett/Sandy - I'd like to say, in the words of the great Hinckley, that I am "towniest of towns" having been a target of the scum yesterday, but I can only ask that you trust me. Admiral Motti/mostlytechnic - He has been very analytical and helpful, and disagreed with Jellico on several occasions, so I'm leaning towards him being town. Admiral Daala/Rider Raider - She was voted for by both Ozzel and Jellico on both days, so it's safe to say she was an easy target to the scum with her relative quietness. Sure, she voted for me yesterday but I see no reason for her to be anything but town. Admiral Yularen/KotZ - He has spent time evaluating ways for the town to win, and been an active contributor. I would trust he's town. General Veers/fhomess - He voted for both of the scum yesterday and even though he was inactive on the first day, he started contributing after that. I would see him as town. Admiral Shelby/Forresto - He did not agree with lynching on Day 1 but was very strongly pushing for Ozzel's voting yesterday. Likely to be town. Admiral Greer/Tariq j - He has been active and analytical as well, and has done nothing suspicious so he might very well be town. Colonel Dellus/LegoRacer1 - He's obviously been busy with other things, so it's hard to tell one way or another. So a suspect he remains. Captain Needa/Khscarymovie4 - He has voted both with the scum and against the scum. He hesitatingly voted for Jellico after his vote on Daala didn't catch wind, and was the only one of Jellico's voters who didn't switch for Ozzel. A suspicious person to say the least. Captain Komec/jluck - Hasn't said much but he voted for the scum yesterday so he could be town. Captain Fenton/Peanuts - He's another active officer and voted for both Jellico and Ozzel yesterday. He made a panic move at the end of the day that would've been detrimental for us loyals, but I'm inclined to say it wasn't deliberate. He's a likely townie in my eyes. Thus, with the process of elimination, I would shift my eyes towards Tarkin, Thrawn and Needa, and on a lesser extent Dellus. Do the rest of you agree?
  20. Excellent news! My instincts on Jellico were right, and I am really glad that we hit themark with Ozzel as well - so thanks to the people who convinced the rest of lynching him. I hope this puts a the target off of my back at least somewhat, since it should feel incredulous that I secretly worked with both Jellico and Ozzel, doesn't it? I am sure I'm not off the hook completely, but it's hard now to find the remaining scum as it is. If you still want to vote me out because of "scummy behaviour" yesterday, I urge you to look deeper and see who were trying to pull the strings towards lynching me yesterday instead. That's what I will be focusing on today.
  21. Glad to hear! I was out of the loop for quite some time but it's been great to be playing again. Maybe some time I get into hosting the Elves Mafia I've planned years ago.
  22. You think highly of yourself. Alas, I have no way of touching you at night - not that I really wanted to. Sounds a bit too desperate to me. Morning will make us wiser.
  23. I'll be first then, hoping it proves me to be a man of my words and pro-lynch. I find Ozzel more weird than scummy, but if it's the majority's choice then let's test it out. Unvote: Jellico (Lady K) Vote: Ozzel (Actor Builder)
  24. It was not without basis, there was plenty of time left at that point and I would rather vote for someone I feel strongly about rather than just anybody. You're accusing me of doing things you're doing yourself!
  25. What back and forth statements? I've been very coherent in my actions in my eyes, trying to find a lynch option that reeks the most. And how can you say I'm ignoring you when you have gained my full attention? Many people - me included - have quoted your sayings from yesterday and today, and I don't have time feel the need to repeat them. I didn't come to this conclusion on my own, it was your actions that have gained you all these votes. With so many votes turning on me after I voted Jellico it seems we might be on the right track, too.
