Really? Before an epic fail shutdown... Megabloks' big block things look exactly like Duplo and I expected elements like that to be in the new theme. I searched for ages and just found the pic, because we are keen on seeing new 2010 pics. Maybe if crossovers like this are possible, we might see Pirates of the Caribbean in the future from Lego. But really, Megabloks sets already released, normal Cars licensed plastic playsets...What is TLG thinking?

I will wait to see how the airport and plane sets turn out, because if they aren't massive pieces, they might be good. On the other hand, Fire dept. has happened too often for me so I would only be interested in the piglet enclosure (just for piglets)

It looks to me as if the Atlanteans are guarding some sort of special coins/treasure. You can clearly see by the symbol on the box and the item the merman is holding that it is some sort of special treasure which the merpeople want to protect. I could be wrong though. The vehicle, as Etzel said, is 'hideous' and I certainly wouldn't buy this set unless it was £15 at the most. The massive wheels lok pretty ugly but some of the greebles look nice.

Nonsense. The RV was featured in the newer series as well. I can see TLG will probably want to create a set of the massive teleport arch portal-thing at the end of the current Ben 10 Alien Force season/series and it should be easy to get lots of DNAlien moulded heads, which may come in handy!

Hello everyone. Here's my next review - Squidman Escape. I believe it has only been reviewed otherwise by about 2 or 3 people in the main forum, so some extra analysis might prove useful. Set Name: Squidman Escape Theme of set: Space Subtheme of set: Space Police III Set Number: #5969 Pieces: 42 Price:

Here's my next review, but sadly my last Space Police review for a while until I have more money. Most of the money I do have has been spent on Star Wars Set Number: #8400 Set Name: Space Speeder Theme: Space Subtheme: Space Police III Time of Release: Summer 2009 Price:

This is perfect and the Police deserve such a vehicle for land pursuits. The FFM are a nice 'play feature' addition and I love the Police light coloured trans disks on the wheel axles to match with the scheme.

I think we'll still have Lambourghini for the display big Racer set, if not a smaller scale minifig set. We'll probably still have more Castle. Don't worry, sooner or later someone usually ends up illegally scanning a Lego trade catalogue. Luckily we got a sneak peak of the new Star Wars battlepacks in an official TLG video. I hope they make that mistake (if it was one) again.

I see nothing wrong with the latest list, EVEN THOUGH I usually only get land vehicles/skimmers for the planet surface. I would love an ARC-170 because I never bought the original, but I would love a Tri Droid instead of a Tri Fighter (of course). The landspeeder would not interest me in any way unless it included tuskens, because I never bought the Ep.2 set with them in.

BEP (aka Black Eyed Peas): I Gotta Feeling "Fill up my cup...miles on top" "Look at her dancing...Just take it off" "We'll paint the town...We'll shut it down" "Let's burn the roof...And then we'll do it again!"

Wow! That's the weirdest reason for an extra tag ever, but at least now I know why people have it. I could say many things about fabuland but I never bought any so I can't comment. Still, I don't intend to at obscene prices off ebay etc.

I enjoy baking sweet snacks/desserts but I don't really like 'cooking' meat, veg and fish, as such. I make mean rice krispie toffee cakes and chocolate marshmallow crunch, and a few other things in my tasty assortment

Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
The Rancor replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
A Soldier ship (I know its obvious) would be nice with another high rank officer and perhaps some new Pirates. Further elaborations on the deserted jungle island scenario, where Pirates and/or Imperials find traps, ruins and treasure. -
It could be any reason. Think what you like because I think it really matters too much. However, a hotrod has to have a racing number, and the three is fine. 0 or 10 would have been cooler though imo. Unfortunately it would seem this ship is the only actual 'ship' in the convict arsenal. I mean, sure we have tiny speeders in Space Speeder and Gold Heist but the only other appealing bad guy vehicles for me are the massive 'bike' in Freeze Ray Frenzy (hopefully to get ASAP) and the Glacactic Enforcer mini-vehicle. All other bad guy SHIPS are not really present.

I think we can be almost certain that these battlepacks will be released in some form in January 2010, because they were in an official Lego video at Billund. Now we know about the battlepacks, we just need more pics to see what they really are. We CAN be sure that these are NOT fan MOCs though - it's proper Lego stuff and I hope we get more pics soon!

I don't think there'll be any more for 2009 other than what we know now. Hopefully, at some time soon the 2010 thread can have its grand opening. BTW: Amazing Luke, with Hans legs

The blog is looking fantastic so far def, and I would agree with the majority of your comments. However, in Rookies (there isn't actually an episode title on the episodes I see on CN in the Uk) I believe that it is far more interesting to see how the clones cope without a Jedi in any way. The guards (shinies) at the outpost don't really have enough time to display their characteristics but we do see a bit more of Rex and Cody's attitudes. They should have at least taken down some of the commando droids by a grenade, or something other than just blasting them all. Only one or two droids were actually destroyed by means other than blasters. It wasn't really an nimpressive sacrifice when Heavy, as I think he was called blew up the bomb next to him, but he was wounded and may have dies anyway, so why not?

James May to build life size lego house!
The Rancor replied to allanp's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Some people seem to be able to judge other people in real life, just by seeing what they are doing and talking to other people. He IS still Captain Slow though. Hopefully, the house still meets its deadline -
It's still my fave set of ANY line of 2009, but I must admit the Battle of Endor comes close (for many reasons, including I like Star Wars). For Hyperspeed Pursuit, the range of parts is just so useful in other MOCs, such as fins, shooters, vents, engines and many other pieces. I also think (as a sticker lover) that the stickers add so much character to the set and make is feel so fun, even just to look at. The hidden links to other parts of the 'Lego Universe' such as Classic Space and the designers is another great addition to the theme in general. I can't imagine many better designed System themed space ships, and the Skull Twins(or Triplets) come in my top 5 ever minifigs!

Why exactly do Stauder and some other people have a picture of a toaster? Is it because they like toast, because I do too I think only higher ranked people have it, but as as far as I know it's not for contests.

Thanks for thinking of informing us. You need to check for other threads first though. If they cannot easily be found in the relevant forum, use the search tool in the top right hand corner of the screen.

I expect the Aliens won't be too hard to kill, as they are more of a swarm, whereas the Predators are almost like a family that sometimes like to work alone. Hopefully, some weapons will be effective, and hopefully they won't soak bullets up like a sponge a la Restistance Fall of Man on PS3!
-
I would guess very soon, but I would still rather buy the Galactic Enforcer for a bit more because the deisgn of this set really doesn't seem to suit the rest of the theme, and it will be at least £30

However, MOST tags will only be earnt by gaining 'fellow status' which doesn't happen very often nowadays. Other tags are IMPOSSIBLE to get because they are for games etc. that have already happened. Onlt the reviewers academy tags are ones that can be earnt by any level of member.

The review is amazing, especially the final pic, which must have been paintstaking to create.I too would like to see the build of the ship, but it's not completely essential. The set would be worth it for
