Welcome to Eurobricks with that handy UK news Itrain. Unfortunately I live in Dorset (near to Devon) so I'm nowhere near a brand store. However, I know a fair few members who often go to one or always go to one for all their purchases.

I don't think I ever saw this thread but it's a freakin' exact copy of Lego's own sets. :skull: Lampuair, do the bricks from Enlighten have stud holes in the bottom? TLG have pattented that

Front knows, but if he told you he would have to kill you

For some reason the links must not be playing the youtube vids live on Eurobricks to Ratshot, but I can see them and I love them as ever!

As I side note from all the comments about the Daleks (which are true), I love your Ood. The sculpey (or prefferred media) was used really nicely, especially the red tendrils. I also think the use of a white stud is ideal for the translator orb. The only criticisms I can really offer are that the head is slightly leaning to the left of the photo and real Ood eyes are slightly more like slits than round eyes. Although the slitheen isn't quite as good, I still love it because in fact I knew exactly what it was instantly and it made me lol

Glad to know that (CENSORED) isn't the prize and you can still retain your left testis. It still made me laugh amongst all the 'Ssh...Secret's though! Congrats to the new winners, including our valued reviewer Svelte (who deserves a free prize for all those reviews)

I was lurking for news on the site just before it became the site it is today. The proportion of American, Canadian, AUS, NZ members still existed though. -
Glad I'm not the only one who spills a few beans by mistake but at least everyone's souls are saved yet again!

The latest UK mag did not have any relevant discount deals that I'm aware of so sorry there.

That face was pretty darn disturbing! I think brand new Episode 3-type pilots (phase 2) are a great idea and I hope they pursue this back to brand new phase 2 molds. I'm all for Kit Fisto having green hands, but it is possible he wears driving gloves to co pilot the ARC!

Is EB still an exclusive adult site?
The Rancor replied to The Crazy One's topic in Forum Information and Help
I can remember why for a person in question but I'll keep THAT ONE A SECRET. (To those who don't know: I'm pretty rubbish at keeping secrets ) -
That wasn't intentionally posted to tell everyone what the prizes were, and even though I did post info on the TYPE of prize for the calendar the specific prizes themselves still haven't been revealed. It was merely that I didn't notice that I had named the prizes. For example, I could have changed it myself to "secret PRIZES that I'll faint to see" but I didn't notice whilst I was posting so sorry for that. There's plenty more I could say about 'the spilling of the beans' but I won't go off topic. I expect I probably won't be getting anything from the raffle now because of that but hope that the lucky winners enjoy their prizes

Can't say I've heard that before until I used the link - it's pretty cool and relaxing. Not relaxing - but one of the best for guitar skills!

You can't really see the hat on my new Christmasified avatar very well, but I've gone back to the classic Rancor image

Some more Star Wars specific elements like a slightly different blaster between clones/stormies and battle droids or rebels. TLG's own blasters are much better than trans-ornage shooting megaphones but they aren't good enough to compete with Brickarms imo. A new type of treads for vehicles that is is roughly 4 studs wide would also be very nice. Another suggestion is the addition of a completely new element for seaweed which is in dark trans green, which would go nicely with Atlantis and other similar themes. I also agree with the 'more variety of bikes' idea by Skipper.

Is EB still an exclusive adult site?
The Rancor replied to The Crazy One's topic in Forum Information and Help
I too am currently 16 and hopefully like a lot of respected 16 year olds on the site we can act maturely enough to remain part of this great community To be fair, a lot of younger children wouldn't know the site was here until they reach the age where they know for sure whether Lego is a hobby they wish to pursue or not into their adulthood (if they do, through unforseen circumstances they often find the site). I have to keep my Lego hobby a secret because if I told any of my friends or 'acquaintances' I would instantly be tormented for the rest of my educational career, so it's perfect to have a site where I can have mature conversation about all things Lego, with many people who are sometimes in a similar situation. -
It IS a raffle though andy, so the winners are completely random, and can do as they wish with their prizes (they don't always want them)

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
The Rancor replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm up for robot legs, robin hood torso, magic wand or syringe, zombie or wrestler head and clown hair -
I really liked Saint's little MOC of the Blacktron Xmas tree (even though it may have been damaged afterwards by the cold outdoors) so congrats on that
-
Lovely raffle - who knows who'll win? (well obviously Siegfried of course) I did love the variety of Christmas MOCs posted - some based just on Christmas, some themed and even Nativity! Lovely calendar worthy of TLG. I can't wait to 'open up' the doors

I actually think almost all of City is the easiest to get hold of in the UK, along with Star Wars (which is just as well for me ) I only ever have problems getting the promotional/special sets such as those aforementioned in this thread

Why don't European boxes have the piece count?
The Rancor replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's probably done in the USA because of the hot competition over there. If you can justify a good value product from the number of pieces for the price, TLG may just win over from competitors. HOWEVER, I don't have a clue why there ISN'T a piece count on EU boxes -
I miss some of TLG's old action themes, especially the historical ones such as Western and Ninja (which I also call action themes). I don't believe ALL of today's action themes are boring although some of them are (which I won't mention because there are some die hard fans of one or two of them on this site Still, I can't wait for the big Atlantis release! :skull:

Welcome to Eurobricks as a poster DashIngG Can't say I've built a display for my Star Wars figs but I do own a huge amount. I also have the same storage problems - and I keep selling discontinued themes like Aquu Raiders.
