Yes, that Monster Fighters set is a must buy! And if you are looking for the new ghost I think it's a better buy than the polybag ghost.
-
Ha ha, he looks hilarious, love it!

Hey guys, I've got a new model for the 'Desktop Series' project on Cuusoo - It's a Search and rescue (SAR) helicopter. Sometime in the coming week I'll be adding an attack version of this model as well. Like the previous two models it has a somewhat chibi style to it. Hope you enjoy and I look forward to any suggestions you might have. Thanks, rongYIREN What do you guys think of the new base?
-
Hey thanks guys for the comments and support, I'm happy that you like the project!

Thank you very much Blacktron. I usually like to keep the MOCs small and try to pack in some detail.

Wow Buck Rogers, I haven't thought about that show in years but I certainly agree with it resembling the ships from the show somewhat. Peter - awesome ship that you've got here, the black color gives it a somewhat elegant look to it.

Ha, it's funny that you mention that because I think I had a bit more fun working out a solution for the cloud design rather than the ship...

[Review] 30201 Monster Fighters ghost polybag
rongYIREN replied to Lego Amaryl's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I wasn't seriously considering any of the Monster Fighter sets but this little polybag set would be quite nice... Love the new ghost. -
Thanks for the comment snefroe. I feel like if I drop the inverted slope from the front it'll look a bit too naked. The transition from "rotor" to the cockpit area was just too harsh without the inverted slope. rongYIREN

Nice build J4ke, I especially like how you have used the house window glass for the cockpit.
-
Awesome set, will probably buy for the snow plow alone.

Hey Xand0r, Small and compact is the way I like to go ,I generally don't build large MOCs. Thanks for the compliment! rongYIREN
-
Very Nice. This is one sexy looking X-wing
-
Hey, these two are really cute, ha! Great job.
-
Thanks for the kind words, Dapper! Appreciate it.

I really like this idea, however, I'd make the design a little more compact. The original Kenner ewok village had only three trees and I think that would work a lot better for you. rongYIREN

Thanks! The ships, however, don't fit a minifig, the cockpit is just a bit too narrow. I have toyed with the idea of enlarging the cockpit but just haven't gotten around to it. rongYIREN

Hey, man I know I already mentioned this on Flickr but I'll say it here also, This is a fantastic build. Some have said the eyes may look a bit dead and maybe they are... a bit. However,if you are looking to liven them up a bit maybe you can check out a Flickr user by the name of 'tkh' They make some great looking anime eyes... rongYIREN

Thanks for the compliment, I really do appreciate it! As for the Gunships I really do have two of them. Initially I had planned to put two of the A-31 ships in a MOC but then got the idea for the AWACS and then got the idea for the cloud set up. By the way, there are two ships but just one background set.

These are some excellent MFZ frames but I'd have to say the 'Sprinting Ghost with Slasher Equipment' and the 'RTK-7 Nightingale' are by far my favorites.

Thanks again to everyone for all the comments. I'm glad you guys like the MOC. Oh, it's his cuteness that lulls you into a feeling of false security and that's when he strikes! Well, actually the image already shows two pics of his back. Might be hard to notice as it kind of looks pretty much like the front. Thanks, a lot! The little black circles are indeed stickers from the stationery store, I wish LEGO had a printed piece like that, it would be handy.

The IG-88 here is a bit of an upgrade from one I built a few months back. I guess it's somewhat of a chibi style, hope you enjoy. Any critiques are welcome. Thanks, rongYIREN The previous IG-88 version if you care to compare

Always a big fan of two-wheeled bots, great job on these little guys!

Wow, a lot of comments, thanks a lot. I really appreciate you guys stopping by to check out the MOC. Also, I updated the pic after tweaking the image a bit. Thanks, rongYIREN

Interplanetary Explorer-Conquerors Hey all! my first MOC post over here on Eurobricks... hope you enjoy! So, like the Conquistadors of old these guys roam the galaxy doing what Conquistadors did best, I guess - exploring and then if all goes well... conquering. In the MOC, the idea was for them to be on some planet with floating rocks or what not. I guess these rocks happen to be over open water. *Critiques are welcome, of course! (Left:Cdr. Tibbs Right:Sgt. Qu and ROVr ) Another pic if you are so inclined to see more. Click!
