  1. No, it's this one: https://brickset.com/sets/40515-1/Pirates-and-Treasure-VIP-Add-On-Pack
  2. Supposed to be, someone posted this in the forest hideout set thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/legodeal/comments/w711e3/most_regions_legolegocom_august_promos_00/ I'm currently debating with myself if it's worth waiting an extra day for that pirate pack or not.
  3. Hey, I never said anything about the minifigures looking good, just their shield emblems. This is precisely why I don't like them, they're too abstract and don't match the cartoony aesthetics of lego minifigures to me, especially compared to earlier heraldry designs.
  4. The first year of KKII had some nice heraldry designs, the bear and wolf in particular: but years 2 and 3 were just plain terrible: Aside from this one: That one's just really cool to me since it's essentially a factionless shield. Shame it wasn't in a better colour.
  5. I thought the same thing about Barracuda Bay but it was gone in a year and a half.
  6. Man, the more I see those new bardings the less I like them. Would it have killed them to reverse the lions on the right side so they faced the front on both sides?
  7. Yeah, just based purely on design I'd much rather have 10305, the design of Madewithbrix's MOC just doesn't appeal to me. Not to mention 22 cool minifigures versus 6 black falcons and 3 random pirates...

  9. Alright so, anybody know what this line in the instructions is a reference to?
  10. Interestingly, I've rebuilt my Medieval Market Village 3-4 times over the years and the only pieces I've had break are 2 of the window frames and the blacksmith's torso.
  11. The lack of the blank shield piece in that inventory tells me that all the shields in the set are in fact printed.
  12. I'm surprised they haven't tried out a crowdfunding approach to re-releasing desirable classic minifigures.
  13. I'm not too concerned about scale, it's not like 10193 was perfectly in scale with 7094.
  14. I'm just thankful Castle won instead of something dumb like Bionicle or Time Cruisers.
  15. Depends on the hair piece. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=62696 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=17347 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=17347pb001 I can guarantee that these two fit seeing as a couple of my Black Falcons archers are using them currently.
  16. Agreed. First thing I did back when I got the Blacksmith set was give them black great helms. Same, closest Lego store for me is 12+ hours away so I'd really like them to get the online one opened up.
  17. Personally I've been using these helmets on my Black Falcons to differentiate them a little more from the Lions. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=48493
  18. According to Mark Stafford, the reason is actually because it's easier to store a single sticker sheet than a bunch of printed parts.
  19. You can tell by the lack of eyelashes that it's a man. how dare a castle toy full of little block people not be historically accurate, the horror! Good thing lego heads are easily swapable, huh?
  20. lol you people are blind. Only half the soldiers are women, stop getting your nuts in a twist. There are 11 men and 10 women in the set, so the gender ratio is pretty close to even.
  21. Ktownbricks, Brickguild and Firestartoys all do this, the only problem is they're a bit expensive and get snapped up pretty quickly.
