Random things about me and about you.

You don't have a child, do you? Because if you do, the other kids must say "your mother wears army boots!"

    Revisiting old topics (Bumping)

Maybe, but the point is that the person in real life would most likely wonder "what are you talking about?" Which is similar to when on a forum revived threads tend to confuse and annoy people.
  3. I'll also vote Robbie Willis/Whitefang. Mr. Right's theories make sense. I also found it strange that he suddenly started contributing, and his claims were a bit confusing.

    Revisiting old topics (Bumping)

Well, I think, like Sieggy said, its considered common sense, so its hard to make rules for it. And its appropriateness changes from forum to forum, even thread to thread. It's only really annoying when, like Big Cam said, people reply to a year or two old post like its from yesterday. Think of it as a conversation in real life. If someone said something to you, you wouldn't go back to them a year later and say: "Remember that time you said such-and-such, I don't agree with it!"
  5. Mr. Right, I have a question: Why did whoever tried to break into your office not succeed? They were obviously not killed, so is it a stipulation on your night effect that no matter what, the investigator, blocker, protector, killer fails?

    CABG Venator

When I first saw it I thought: really good, except we've seen so many large Venator MOCs that there really isn't anything to make this one stand out. Then, I realized it had an interior and my thoughts changed quite a bit. It looks just as good on the outside as Thire5's, but yours really is at another level because you managed to fit an interior. I would wonder a little bit about the sturdiness, because parts of it are hollow to accommodate the rooms. Fantastic work.
  7. That's exactly what I'm thinking. We've only had two kills or attempted kills (that we know of) each night.
  8. What was the scum hitman doing on night 1 then? I suppose they could have been blocked, but that would have been a pretty good guess on the part of the blocker...
  9. Exactly. And from that we can gather that it was the scum hitman who killed Martin and tried to kill Mr. Right, and a town/neutral vigilante tried to kill Mary, and killed Lois on night 1.
  10. The game ends when all the scum are dead or when the scum outnumber the townies. You probably should have known that before starting the game.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

Well, you can't exactly know at this stage who is scum and who is not. But when you repeat over and over again: "I think the police are corrupt" you seem to be trying to get an opportunistic conviction on someone , which is characteristic of mafia.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

I will repeat what has been said: In these games... of life, it is a clear mark of either a new player or obvious scum when you make accusations based, not in fact, not in logic, but simply by how a person looks or what their role in the community was before this game...of life started. I am growing suspicious of you. I will hold off on voting until we talk it out some more, but all you have done today is try to get everyone voting for someone based on the near-meaningless persona's that are assigned in this game... of life.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

That's possible, but then why was the neutral killer unsuccessful? A town protector?
  14. Millacol88

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

True. It is possible, though, that one of you is the town's vigilante. If we operate under the assumption that it was the vigilante who killed Lois, then it would make sense if it was one of the ones who voted for her yesterday.
  15. Millacol88

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

No, but it stands to reason that if the scum's hit on Right failed, either Right was protected or the killer was blocked. Right would know if he was protected, so the killer must have been blocked.

    Merry Christmas EB

Merry Christmas everyone! Jammie, is that my sigfig who's had too much to drink?
  17. Millacol88

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

Mr. Right, that seems like pretty sound reasoning. It makes perfect sense that the scum would not risk killing a townie who was helping keep suspicion off themselves. So, it stands to reason that our vigilante was the one who killed Lois, because of those suspicions. That means that the ones who voted for Lois could have had something to do with her death. So, if the vigilante killed Lois, the scum attacked you. And it was a town roleblocker who prevented them from doing that.

Dragonator's Dark Cave of Dirty Scheming?

We've had threads about these in the SW and licensed forums. It's just a place where staff can post WIPs before they're ready to go public. Nothing mysterious, just a workspace.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day Two

Good theories. We know now that it was "Legois" who protected him. It could have also been a town investigator, though that's unlikely as then the scum wouldn't have even attempted killing someone.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day One

I suspect Susan because of her obvious lying and lack of knowledge of this game...of life. There's a more detailed explanation a few pages back in your memories. She's just quite obviously either a townie doing a terrible job, or scum doing an even worse one.
  21. Exactly. I've posted 6 times, and feel as though I have contributed just as much as anyone up in the 30-40 range.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day One

In situations like this, on the first day of a game...of life, refraining from voting is perhaps the WORST thing a loyal townie can do. If we don't vote for someone, there is absolutely no chance that we can reduce the scum's numbers. However, that night, the scum killer has his choice of townies to kill. A couple of you (including Susan ) claim you are waiting for more evidence. YOU WILL NOT GET ANY, not on the first day. So the best thing to do, is vote! Look at it like this: Vote, there's a chance you will get a scum and reduce their numbers. Don't vote, there is a 100% chance that the scum will reduce the town's numbers.

    Prohibition Mafia: Day One

Susan, from the start of this game...of life you have seemed very suspicious to me. First, you claim that because a certain mailman is standing in a spot you deem to be odd, he must be up to something! Secondly, the entire time, you have been one of the people who asserted that the robbery is somehow important to the predicament we are in, but this has been confirmed as false by the god of this game...of life. Your constant insistence that the robbery is important is either an attempt at confusion because you are scum, or it is possible you are a town member with no knowledge whatsoever of the conventions of this game...of life. Crime scenes and security photos cannot be analyzed. Thirdly, every time one of your lies is challenged, you make up another story to cover for it. No, I was hired as a mafia spy in Vermont when I was 9, and that is somehow relevant! Wait, I only wanted to look at crime scene photos from an irrelevant robbery to get us out of the situation we`re in! You are obviously lying, you are obviously either a townie with zero knowledge, or scum with even less. Either you have no knowledge, and somehow think that making up crazy cover stories is the way to succeed in this game...of life. Or, you are scum trying to distract us from what is important (who is killing) by feebly attempting to convince us that a robbery proven to be irrelevant is somehow vital. Vote: brickme/Susan
  24. So I posted, left for the day, came back and I have 9 pages to catch up on! That is a lot of posts for the first day!

    Prohibition Mafia: Day One

Why are you so quick to single someone out? Even if you are a loyal town member, being the one to randomly call people suspicious and start problems is as bad as being scum.
