Is your hobbie a secret, tell us about you're experiences with it... all that good stuff My hobbie is unknown to all but my two closest friends (Little Green Man being one of them) who are both lego fans as well. My parents know, but NO ONE ELSE! And I like it that way, I would be teased to death if people at school found out... ;) Once though I was opening my school e-mail account for a powerpoint presentation (it was being projected up on the board) Everyone could see as I opened e-mail, and there was a Bricklink order invoice there! :-D I quickly deleted it before anyone could read the title though... :)

After a lot of though I have decided to leave. Why? For 2 reasons in order of imporance 1. My Parents have been making comments like "Maybe you should find a more mature hobby" and the like so I'm going to batten down the hatches and prepare for a seige on Me and my bricks. 2. I really see no point in posting MOC's on the web. These last few weeks I have felt as if I need to prove something to myself (Not just in lego) I have felt like my MOC's are not my best. The official Minifig Wars (I renamed it) website is now up and running and I should have the rules up soon! There's only a FAQ page and a link to the forums for now. I locked the forums so I can finished them, but if any of you guys feel like registering, just tell me and I'll unlock them.

Okay, this is similar to the google game being played in the sticky thread but requires a bit of imagination... Yesterday, after finals ended, I decided to do somethign creative. So I decided to make a lego movie with all the members of our great forums in it! This is what I came up with: I am proud to announce a very long film called LEGO WARS, I just decided to make it so I could do funny stuff with photo editing programs, but it will be pretty cool. The story (I'll only tell you a little bit) Bloody Jay is at a meeting with the GLS (galactic lego senate) when the place is attacked by the ARMY OF FBTB!!!!!!!!!!!!! He barely escapes and learns of a plot to destroy the knights of justice and good, the eurobrickers. This movie will have space battles, lightsaber battles, ground battles, air battles, water battles (pirate ships) and lots of ewoks! many forum members will be in it! Hey guys, I've decided to post my latest MOC (and my first Viking one *sweet* ) This is the Viking War Wagon! Used to carry lots of vikings to lots of places! It has a mounted balista, space for spear/axe throwers, extra weapons, and spikes all over it to protect it from dragons. lol, like most LEGO siege engines, it moves itself with magic :-P I was trying to figure out how to get the Ofnir dragon pulling it, but I couldn't find any of my extra chains :-(

@phred - Due to the size of the wheels, it's pretty sturdy, but it is a bit tall :-/

360 for me, It's got over 100 games, all in HD, with online support so I can hang out with my friend AND play at the same time. Add in video marketplace, XNA game studios (which I'm going to get soon), a lower price than PS3... and you have a great game system!

Okay, I've been working on my wargame and I'm almost done with the fleet one but I have hit a dead end. What do I do about movement? Originally, it was very simple: you moved as far as you wanted within the ships movement rate. Now, I want to take a more complex approach: Instead of just moving, you can accelerate/decelerate your ship. The ship will maintain it's speed in the same direction unless you change it's course, allowing you to turn your ship all the way around and fly backwards (something that is done in many sci-fi tv shows and movies.) Which one do you guys like better? Keep in mind that I am aiming for a simulation of commanding a fleet and not just a simple wargame. It's up to you...

Halo 3 isn't, but that's all we have :-( I don't know about alone in the dark. But everything else is totally in game. I have Gears of war and it looks just like that *sweet*

Thrawn is right. I've played the PS3 and it's not as good looking as the 360. The 360 only has the lead by a little, mostly because it's into its 2nd generation of games and devs know the hardware better but it will always have that advantage.
