  1. @Auroralampinen I hope it will not be motorized because part is not particularly stiff (due to stiffness isssue I had to abandon one project). Indeed Ferrari is IMHO at the monent better set than Aston Martin...
  2. Looks sturdy, simple and clean build so far.
  3. It looks really beautyful. Years ago I planned to build one, but rear part of R9xx litronic compact excavators is much more rounded than curved panel 3 x 13, so I deciced not to make it due to parts shortage...and I wanted full RC with 8 functions... Did you made scaling (into 1:21) based on sprocket size or width? Enjoy your wacation.
  4. A bit off-topic took it apart and resolder (anoying indeed) I have hoped that there will be some positive news like physical controler and perhaps shorter motors. Nevertheless Volvo looks good and has some interesting building ideas (based on photos available)
  5. Yes, it was your post, so I use it for pictures...honestly I'm stuck with good old powerfunctions (where sometimes I have to fix cables...)
  6. Actually on one post on page 6 l those images are visible when following posted link... https://www.lego.com/ko-kr/product/volvo-ec500-hybrid-excavator-42215
  7. Actually it is (my interpretation of) JCB Fastrac...when I finish it, I'll publish it in my topic with some development steps...
  8. I suppose 12 -> 20 tooth...usually more torque is needed in machinery; I have one model (not front end loader) that uses coupled XL motors upgearing 40 to 24 tooth, then 20 to 28 tooth gray differential like yours and hub reduction from 42099 set on wheels. Try using as short as possible axles and axle joiners to make them longer, also use this axle instead of regular 4 studs long to prevent axle twisting because XL motors are verey very strong
  9. I see only some plastic surgeon video...
  10. You have to decide wether you will replicate real truck or make generic one. If second is the case, they you have all freedom that is allowed with parts from your inventory... ...we in Croatia have mostly highway Iveco trucks, but Gernan abd Scandinavizn brands are mostly used; probably it is dealers choice (which brand gives highest interest...) Kind regards
  11. Perhaps it can be found on rebrickable under bruckbybrick user ...but all I can find is this https://rebrickable.com/mocs/?get_drill_downs=&q=Brickbybricktechnic
  12. That is something I was thinking about untill I saw one container truck parked with raized rear (liftable) axle and it was pointing in oposite direction than fromt wheels (like in your second image link), but steering angle was smaller... From info (distributer's info) it steeres even when it is lifted and it is hydraulic steering connected with truck steering system. The info is from M.A.N. distributer, but I don't know is every 6 x 2 M.A.N. model has it or not and not to mention other brands...
  13. It is s bit unusual indeed... Perhaps it us time for Lego to make narrow 2L differential; but fur that new bevel gears will be needed... Nice effort Micha.
  14. Video is to fast for my old eyes, so I cant see anything...but I'm all ears...this is something that I look how to make for ladt couple of years for my Unimog
  15. @M_longer beat you... https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/202794-42209-volvo-l120-electric-wheel-loader/page/6/#findComment-3775699
  16. At least it has a differential unlike Aston Martin...
  17. I can repeat all that and add just one thing - pity it is not driven and steered by PF motors also...
  18. Of all cars, Bronco is the most appealing.
  19. I would go with actuators because they enable smoother operation...
  20. Sorry I forgot about 4 motors...indeed gearbox would be complicated in such narrow space
  21. Do you plan to have all functions to be motorized? If so you need additional hub / battery box in upoer carridge...and better use actuators with motorizstion. BTW looks good; a while ago I was thinking about blue wheeled version (I saw it on my way to work)....but I'll see. Perhaps I got some interesting idea from you...
  22. Shape looks good, pity that there is no suspension, not to mention buggy motor powered model...
