Nice, where do I download Superkalle's LDD Manager software? -

Hey Guys, Here are a couple of Hurricane tracking maps I designed for the Weather Research Center in Houston Texas to gets kids more interested in weather. The big one cost a fortune. This was my first mosaic, there is a lot I would do differently if I were to do it again. Live and learn. Here is the small scale map (my little hurricane symbol was later improved with a 2x2 flat black round): Here is the giant map (a work in progress with an apple for scale): The final Product!: Here are some smaller models I ordered as freebies for the kiddies. Cloudy (clear bricks support the cloud despite looking white): Hurricane: Snowflake: Sunny: Sunny with Cloudy Periods: Thunderstorm: Tornado: Wave:

If I'm going to use LDD as a design tool, I don't want to be left counting pieces. If we could extract a brisklist from LDD, we could then use that to order from the pick-a-brick store. Maybe then if we pick our bricks, add them to cart and then select "5 of", we could get 5 versions of our bagged model (hopefully in separate bags). Has anyone else tried this?

Best Microscale anything, wow.

Thanks for all the positive feedback, here are some others I've made (designed in LDD). I don't have real pics at the moment because I've given them all away as gifts. They definitely look better in real life. Another Superman Red Son: Superman Clarke Blend: Spiderman/Wolverine from Ultimate Spiderman #67

Whoa! Thanks for that. Awesome!!!

I've been to the museum in Galveston many times, I'm located in Houston. The models are in my office, and I often give them to folks as gifts.

Thanks for that, sorry for the misplaced post.

I guess not, I was thinking the whole Maersk Line.

Here is one of the first builds I did of a Submersible Heavy-Lift Vessel (as seen on Discovery Channel) I know they aren't perfect, I take liberties, much like the Architecture series (FYI I am a Naval Architect) ...is a model of the below ship loaded with 4 barges Another... Tugs pushing a Jack-Up Drilling Rig off of a submerged Heavy Lift Vessel. Thus (except below is a liftboat not a Jack-Up): Another of a HL Vessel with a Spar Thus: This ship: Lastly the Vanguard!(Lastly for now anyway, I've made dozens and dozens) Which looks like:

Another mosaic I tried: From a distance: It's from the Superman Red Son, Elseworlds comic where Superman lands in the Soviet Union.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I used larger plates to save money, quite frankly, as I made several to give to friends. Here is a distance shot... sorry for the glare, it's a small office.
