Gondabuggan replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
The LOTR sets are <3 I have almost all of them now. My second to last set should be arriving soon. The pieces are useful but I am hesitant to take them apart. :3 Also, My entry for challenge 4 is underway, although awfully small. :/ -
I'm practically right next to Dan (Church). The place looks great!

OOC: Love it. The lighting i the first pic is great! IC: I wish you luck in your battles, Lord. Mitgardia is still neutral but I for one wish the threat to end! -

I Play with some kids in my neighborhood and it provides some interesting inspiration. ;) -
"Eugh- Sir, what are you doing here?" "I'm tracking a cult, but I need somewhere to rest while I make my way to the Orcish Swamps..." "Sure, but Theres very little room. I'll find you a bed sir." "Much obliged." OOC: More experimentation, really. I wanted to do more but it came out... wrong. so this is it. PART II (The ORcish Swamps) OOC: Because one photo doesnt get its own thread. "What business do you have in the orcish Swamps?" "Im trailing a cult. I believe they pose a serious threat to Mitgardian security. I would call off your bowman now." "WHAT? Eugh- Yes. Put down your bows. You may pass."

Updated! and thanks guys!

"You know why I'm here." "Your a blasted fool! Even if you kill me the Cult will continue! You cannot stop us!" "I care to say differently." In this build I definitely wanted to try some new styles of building, and some new windows too. And show off Count Ustengravths personal Demon hunter. ;) Slightly inspired by Diablo 3.

Yeah, I wish that a lot of my lighting adventures came out right. :3

Great build/FP but it definitely achieves the deeper sadness of the graveyard.

Thank you! Thanks! I thought they looked vaguely gothic. Thanks and yes, I will be. Thanks!

Good Evening Mentlegen! Due to the unlikely event that I will work on this any more, I decided to post my Challenge 3 entry. Its not the best, and it's not what you'd expect from Mitgardia, but its Unique, and that has to count for something. ;) Sorry for lack of photos, There's not much to see. :3 EDIT: Oh, and in addition most of my good pieces are being used in something else. :P Fey Ghoul's Hallow- Deep under ground in the southern part of Mitgardia, there has lied an evil here for 400 years, waiting for a fresh victim to arrive, one with no will to protect itself, one with no strength to resist its bonds. The Fey-Ghoul of Venris Halfmitten. Here, in the ancient Limese Druid temple in which the Druid crystal of Air has lied for centuries, the fey, a mystical forest dimension, lush and overgrown with vegetation, intersects with the realm of man. The result is an amazing amount of overgrowth and a surprisingly warm environment, and a poison that can make a man forget who and waht he is. In addition, the ancient Limese pool was long ago cursed, so that those who drink from it must serve the Fey forever, and make sure no being gains the mystical crystal. Any man who falls completely into the lake will slowly drown until he is brought directly into the fey, where he has no means of getting back, and dark things roam in the night. Long ago, the famed Venris Halfmitten lead an expedition with a similar goal to that of many knights throughout Historica today, the intent to capture the Druid Crystal of Mitgardia. Unfortunately for him and his crew, the expedition ended disastrously, resulting in the death of most of his men at the hands of a faery dragon. Venris was finally able to slay the beast and it dissipated into thin air, releasing a fey force that strengthened the fey around this area. Venris accidentally swallowed a mouthful of water from the well, and after the battle, he began his transformation. He personally killed the remaining men in the cavern before resurrecting them with fey-necrotic magic. The axe Venris had been using was supposed to keep evil magics out, but when he dropped it, it slowly became infected too. Even as the zombie-like creatures began roaming the caverns, the Fey-Ghoul of Venris began sacrificing his own fey-ghouls to keep himself sustained- resorting to cannibalism. He became the lord protector of the crystal, murderign and often eating the poor souls who dared venture into the ruins. Until now. Count Ustengravth had sent a company of his men, headed by his personal captain of guard, Vartak Mardrath, to find the legendary Air Crystal. After traveling Mitgardia and following a mystical map, they finally found the ruins and the cave. They entered, fearing that something evil was lurking. As they entered the ancient Limese temple, they were surprised by the unnatural amount of overgrowth and the warm air, and looked upon the figure at the head of the room, raised on a platform above the pool. They didn't need to be told who it was, for they had feared that they might be fighting undead remnants of the centuries old expedition anyway... Thank you all for coming to observe, you can see larger pictures here:

Thanks! -
Thanks! Thank you! I wanted it to be a bit unique. And of course the name had to be equally as elaborate. ;3

So i decided to build something worthwhile. Anyway, Hjem is a Small Mitgardian Farm nestled in the valleys of Mitgardia, just outside Valholl. The Farm owner and her Hired Hands are taking care of the Various animals lingering around the pasture. So Yeah, The only part I'm not happy with is the roof, buuut Diablo 3 launches and I probably am not gonna fix it anytime soon. Actually I probably wont Moc much for a while. I added a new free build! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=69696&st=0&gopid=1283939entry1283939 -
Thanks man! The part I dont like about the roof is that it has o back and it has patches of holes in the front, LOL. :) oh and it also has an interior but it is hard to photograph.
-
So yeah, a quick entry. Probably my best castle build. Its basically what the title says, a slum in Valholl inhabited by a fortunate old man with his chicken and stale bread.
-
Nice job! I love the waterfall effect. Dang-it now I have to find a better idea than a war-cart. ;3
-
Thanks. Thanks and yeah, I do need to be a little more patient with my editing.
