That Flash design looks like a good indication that it could be a fig in the near future.Glad he gets a mask/helmet and not a printed head like Captain America

Free Lego in The Sun is coming back.
surrideo replied to martyboy70's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Very surprised they aren't putting Batman in the New Sun on Sunday but then again no idea if that or the Sat sun is more expensive? Overall as good a selection as you could hope for, some are average but the Ninjago and Superheroes ones help push the promotion. Hopefully a second promotion in the year with the Avengers polys and maybe some Monster Fighters -
What Figs in the Quinjet never 'see' one in the film. Black widow is in one in Stuttgart, Thor lands on it, Iron man flies out the back of one. Thor lands on it and Loki is flung out of one
-
Bear in mind kids will lose some of these figures, so doubles not such an issue. Not all putting them in plastic freezer bags and storing them never to see the light of day
-
It would have if it were scene accurate and included Nick Fury. Asides from Captain America never setting foot on a cycle the whole film I don't know what else they could have done for the cheapest set bearing in mind piece limitation and the need for an exclusive minifig. These sets were probably designed 6 to 9 months ago and based off of sketches and design art. Also the sets have more need to be an adventure in a box than an accurate representation of any scenes from the movie.
-
When we first meet him he is wearing tan pants/chinos. Later he gets new pants by virtue of having ripped his old ones..... The set is technically correct
-
I would say the character choices in the sets are fairly spot on apart from The Loki cosmic cube set. Can't shake the feeling that set may have been the one that should have contained Fury. I refuse to put that in spoiler tags as I ain't revealing any plot points.
-
They will easily be worth a small fortune in years to come. Guessing series 7 won't stay out long then. Excellent idea and good colours in new parts like Superman hair etc
-
Same dates as US, so the last two weeks of May. Hard to tell my kids why they can't have the rest of The Avengers sets just now. Dad wants a minifig Hulk lol
-
Wasn't sure if it had been confirmed for UK. Should have checked back further
-
Not sure if it has been mentioned but Hulk minifigure will be available in the UK online and at Lego stores
-
Amazing how badly written my reply was What I should have said was I would like for TDKR sets to keep the Spiderman set company on the shelves when it gets released. Megabloks are of course making sets for The Amazing Spiderman movie not TDKR
-
I'm so selfish, I just want fabled TDKR sets but I don't think they are coming. Megabloks will be releasing sets for that new film. Is that factory not robbed all the time and the proceeds end up on ebay at $30 a time?
-
August unfortunately Which probably means June/July in practice. Strange to release just one set in a theme on its own, hopefully some new sets maybe keep it company. Please Lego?
-
Could do with another fig couldn't it? A generic pilot maybe. For anyone who has the set I really enjoy the comic strip that comes with it. Doesn't stick to the normal order of things.
-
Beefier minifigs, I think you are looking for the Megablok aisle. Why would you mess around with your last enforceable patent/copyright?

Can you guess what is coming to Eurobricks?

I wouldn't be too dismissive of what this could be. The site and/or its staff must have very good relations with the Lego Group as the Sydney Opera House review, pre release review of Series 7 CMF and prizes given for the architecture contest prove. I admit myself I'm not much of a builder or participate much beyond posting here but the site offers so much more than a lot of the other fan sites out there, indeed it tends to act as a news feed to many. I look forward to the announcement/announcements -
The oversized figures must be a bit of a bane for Lego because they have to be careful they retain a lego feel and don't become action figures. I can't see them being too keen to make too many as you are getting away from your classic patent. I understand Wampas and Hulk but equally I see people saying they should have waist, leg articulation. They must be limited in their design otherwise they look like whatever every other action figure maker produces. I enjoy the Fantastic Four MOC that is around at the moment and feel that if they are produce Thing he should be minifig scale.

Review: 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown
surrideo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't own every set but this is definitely the best set in the Marvel line. I can see it being highly desirable once it has been discontinued for the minifigs it contains. Wolverine may get a redesign before further x men waves and Deadpool may actually never appear again. Excellent set and review and loving your new avatar CM -
Hopefully this appears in. the UK. If it is a superheroes only purchase I may have to succumb to the quinjet.
-
It negates buying the helicarrier for me as I have a Hawkeye and Loki and may pick up the Quinjet if it goes cheap. The one in the helicarrier makes sense but Hulk in a minifigure is excellent

REVIEW: 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle
surrideo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hang around Brickset much? The minifigures in both my Loki Cosmic Cube and Wolverine sets appear to not be of chinese origin. However Lokis,Iron mans,Magnetos helmet all came in separate plastic bags. The chinese parts argument is so very old, funnily enough brickset withdrew that false/jesting story quickish this morning, especially after Nabii gave them short shrift -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
surrideo replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah John Lewis seem to have got only a limited stock in. WH Smith have far more but in Glasgow only Argyll Street had them, everywhere else had S5/6 and in quite large quantities. Wonder if Lego are adjusting the volumes being produced? -
I think it was wrong of Lego to say they would ship today(A Sunday) but I bet they will be moving by early tomorrow
-
I don't think they will be in Tesco, Asda etc that quickly. John Lewis strangely have wolverine online and nothing else even though they are selling every set now in store. Completely your choice.
