I'm personally from the camp that doesnt't care where the figures are made.Even if the bulk of figure parts come from Mexico or wherever I put my mortgage on Iron Mans helmet coming in a separate bag from china. Didn't do Wonder Woman and Superman's hair any harm. I really like the idea of The Green Lantern fig coming with a preorder for Lego Batman 2 or A N Other exclusive fig like the young Han Solo that came with Padawan Menace or Voodoo Jack with PoTC. However Lego HP 4-7 came with the lab set so perhaps one of the polybags already revealed may be included with the game? As for Flash etc I wonder if the Superheroes line will ever take inspiration from current or recent cartoons and characters like Flash,Green Arrow get released in Brave & The Bold sets(for example). Yes I know The Brave and The Bold was/maybe still is a comic title that ran for years. EDIT Just reading about the Lego Batman Visual Dictionary via Brickset. That too should be the source of an exclusive minifigure

Yeah I'd agree they needed to hold back the penguin, scarecrow and others so to sell sets off them. I hope next year brings a new bat suit variant too. If I'm honest though the second DC wave(If there are no TDKR sets) hopefully will be less Bat-centric and Superman, green lantern,Flash get their own or are included in sets. I also would like to see the riddler get his own set, as fantastic as the funhouse is he seems thrown in and deserves his own stage. I'd like catwoman to get a slightly bigger set too

This is one of the two sets from the theme that I don't have. Great review and a nice helicopter with unique design but the price has to come down for me as I have a T-rex from the HQ and it is the sole reason this set is so expensive.

I like the version that came with the funhouse. I'd much prefer the riddler with a smart green suit and the green bowler, I quite like how the current one breaks up the uniformity of the green spandex suit he comes in in the funhouse. As for Captain America, I'll be glad if he doesn't have printed wings as the face mask/balaclava is so dark blue they wouldn't be brilliant white anyway and may appear smudged

That is a point, that would be mean to kids if it were only in the quinjet for example. Been reverse engineering the pick up set tonight with my kids in black/red of all colours. A lot of fun, but I need the hawkeye figure to look better in final form to tempt me

I do hope that the sets that have multiples of characters maybe have slights variations eg Thor and Loki with hair in one set, helmets in another but probably further down the line
-
Just give him Dracos and say he has dyed it. I have the Batcave, is that the only set it has appeared in?

As I said earlier I knew it was comic canon derived. To be honest I wondered what "age" of Magneto they would go for as I know that the X men comics "jump" about their timelines a bit to when Magneto wasn't quite as disenchanted with politics, non-mutants etc. Wolverine will always look the same way. I hope the other x men and villains are released next year, characters like Juggernaut could use the Hulk mold. Back to an earlier point about Loki being in 3 out of the four sets, would the black hair that Bruce Wayne has in the batcave set be the best fit for him?

Ah I remember seeing that a few weeks ago actually as well earlier in this thread. Thanks

Thanks for all the links So Gandalf is "Tired" and tidier eyebrowed Magneto Seriously Sir Ian should sue!

Was a ghost ship not just a suggestion that came from the board or does it have basis from elsewhere?

Hasbro's Kre-o! Is Lego seriously going to let this happen?
surrideo replied to Omegablue's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Not a fan of the figs from that line, the sets look alright from what I can tell from the box. As for Kre-o my kids hated it apart from the Kreons who appear to have made friends with Batman from what I can see from their rooms -
I wonder if lego have made a new face print for the Magneto figure or if it is the Gandalf head without beard And to preempt replies, I know Magneto is from the comics not the movies
-
Wonder if that space may be reserved to allow Captain Americas bike to get on the Quinjet. The Hulk can just bound behind

The "continuity" of recent action themes
surrideo replied to Haltiamieli's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would love an Inca/Amazon Quest, though I would like fresh explorers I think -
Yeah an I'm not sure the mummy is worth $11/£11, though the skeleton horse is unique. It may be good for modding and building up the cart. All the smaller/mid sized sets must be a bit more expensive due to new molds, but I can assure lego between CMF and pharoahs quest my kids are sorted for mummies

Have to remember they are playsets and not display models. Away to look at the castle again though as my kids raised the question,Does it have a garage for the hearse? Fantastic question
-
It's great that the vast majority of pieces come from the same set. How I wish lego still had the alternative builds on the box. Stuff like this is what I encourage my kids to do, though it isn't always easy to keep sets separate from the other bits and they "cheat"

I'm guessing, but is that an earlier drawing? If so lends creedence along with Two faces design, the new robin etc that lego are drawing inspiration from all eras of the comics

Rumors and speculation: Haunted House Modular
surrideo replied to forumreader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Now I want Grandpa and Herman figures, thanks Lightningtiger -
By using such a random character(yes I know Ryan Reynold played him on film for five minutes) it raises hope that with further waves the figure selection will get quite diverse and away from the mainstream
-
I am surprised they have never done ltd edition/special promotion of the ninjas in polybags with their respective hairpieces
-
Likely to be the planet set and not the big set
-
Looks good, but too big surely to be the fabled zombie set. Would think Castle is the flagship Though the VIP exclusive minifig set that was voted for and gave "strange" results may be explained by zombies appearing in this line. Zombies in a graveyard with Haunted house would be brilliant

I know people like to army build and fair play to them, each to their own and I respect most opinions and wants but remember that lego is a construction toy and a playset primarily. It never has been nor ever will be games workshop and I'm glad of that. Two very separate collectables and I'm glad that Lego moved towards the opposing factions/battle in a box for star wars this year, my kids love it. The PoTC one didn't seem to sell well because it had Jack Sparrow in it, as did every set It was however a battle in a box(blister pack) I hope if LoTR ones appear they are in a similar vein of the new star wars ones. I think we will see another version of gandalf and a mold similar to that of Jack's hair would be great as would have been the same with a wizard/witch hat with hair similar to the tri corner hat. It's hard to know how Lego would produce a wizard hat in plastic that looks beat up. If they could it would suit a new Scarecrow figure also for the Superheroes line. But looking at Indys fedora, Jacks hat it isn't easy to replicate in shiny ABS
