I think these sets sound great and I applaud the strange and unexpected choices, but I gotta say that I don't like the choice of anniversary figures at all. None of them make much sense to me. Cal and Fives are fine, but they could so easily just show up in future sets where they belong. Malak is OK but young Leia isn't terribly exciting. There were so many options that would've been more appropriate and less likely to show up otherwise -- TLJ or TROS Leia instead seems obvious to me. Never liked Boss Nass, but even he would've made more sense. Hope there's more to come.

The fact that they got rid of the flesh printing on the rebel in Yavin 4 might be an indicator that the Tantive set will be more like a battle pack with a diverse group and less of a diorama.
