Does anyone know if it's normal for sets to disappear on the Lego shop, or could the DOTs be cancelled?

I can see them now. They look pretty nice. Interestingly, The Burrow shows 9 Weasleys and Hermione (Ginny is on the balcony if you can't spot her). I wonder if it's true we will be seeing Bill and Charlie.

HP DOTs sets are still missing from LEGO Shop when they appeared for a few hours yesterday. I hope they're still on the way.

The characters are based on the Chibi designs - I have a poster, stationary, a mug and socks with these designs. There are quite a few things with the Chibi design on.

Hmm, definitely not as exciting as I'd hoped for. Also quite disappointed that the HP printed tiles are randomly distributed. Maybe they'll grow on me... Actually, some of the photo frame and lockable box deigns are pretty cute. And Hedwig.

Still surprised we haven't seen the DOTs yet. I wonder if they're waiting for Hogwarts Legacy release week to ride the WW hype (remember the 2022 summer sets were unveiled on FB:SoD release date). Will this be my chance to finally get a Fang? Please...

    Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Well, I understand this isn't a popular idea for most people but I just mean I really hope to see a definitive version of Hogwarts Castle at some point, even if it's years down the line, that has a satisfactory interior and exterior as no iteration has cut it for me so far. I definitely don't expect it to have many rooms or represent the whole castle, but just something in the style of the Disney or medieval Castle. But that's ages away (if ever) so let's focus on the awesome sets we are getting this year. I can't wait to see the summer wave in all its glory. I hope playing Hogwarts Legacy and building the March wave will keep me entertained until them. I'm so intrigued to see what the mystery sets are. I think top of my wish-list is Fang.

I love your idea and I would be sooo ecstatic for such a set; and so would many other adult fans. It would be a dream come true. I 100% expect we'll see a super huge Lego HP set sooner or later (whether it's $849.99/£734.99 like the Millennium Falcon and AT-AT for Star Wars, or even around $679.99/£589.99 $629.99/£554.99 like the Eiffel Tower and Titanic respectively) and that it will be the most iconic location in modern pop culture: Hoggy-Warty Hogwarts!

Well, we can agree to disagree. If this theme is going to last for any duration of time, and continue with D2Cs every yearly (or twice yearly), then it's inevitable that they will return to the main setting of the franchise. Many people, like me, hated the previous Hogwarts Castle and want a proper model like the Disney castle. I love the playsets a lot, but they will never have the same level of detail and structure as a premium-priced set. And The Great Hall to Harry Potter is like the Millennium Falcon to Star Wars - there'll always be an iteration of it on shelves IMO.

Before the line ends (if it ever does) I want a D2C minifig-scale Hogwarts Castle (perhaps for the 25th anniversary of Philosopher's Stone in 2026) at about £600/700 (think the most expensive Millennium Falcon set). Inside I want the Great Hall, Gryffindor Common Room, the potions classroom, a hallway, a store cupboard and the forbidden corridor. The new mold would be a new body for Fluffy which attaches to the 2021 heads. It would also include one of the Christmas horse-drawn carriages from CoS. That's my dream set, and it's what I thought the 2018 was going to be when I was reading rumours about it.

Wow, I love this idea. Am I allowed to quote from another site? Well, this is what he said. But I don't think it's true either. But I just get anxious thinking of how things ended in 2011 and the sight of that abandoned forum.

This topic is quiet. I'm busy getting hyped for Hogwarts Legacy but I'm still hoping for those HP DOTS pictures! (and some more leaks...) Someone in the comments on PromoBricks is saying they expect this to be the final year of Lego HP to coincide with DOTS finishing. They better be wrong.

Well, fingers crossed they'll leave out Hermione and Neville (we obviously can't avoid a repeat of Harry). I really need DH II Ron but in the courtyard scene he's just standing like a spare part (a bit like his portrayal throughout several of the films), but I don't see where else he'd fit. Unless they're introducing a new hair mold for Hermione, then I'd welcome a repeat of her. On the topic of Voldemort, I hope they don't waste a new torso and skirt printing on him. Repeating the same torso and unprinted skirt from the AC is fine. Perhaps even reuse the head-print from the Rise of Voldemort if it's still around (as it was on a keyring not long ago). For collectors who care about leg printing, you can easily get the CMF version cheap online - and I don't think kids will care too much about that.

Oh yes! The polybags never seem to release for sale here in the UK (or at least I've never seen them) and they always end up as a bonus freebie alongside the HP Gift With Purchase so hopefully the same will happen this year with the Vault GWP and the Quidditch poly. Oh, I've found the US prices for DOTS: 41808 Hogwarts Accessories Multipack - £12.99 41809 Hedwig Pencil Holder £17.99 41811 Hogwarts Desk Kit - £44.99 So the total UK estimate for this year is: £1,308.79.

Unfortunately, that only happened in the book and not the film. The March set we're getting includes the Room of Requirement and the courtyard where Harry talks to the Grey Lady in the film. OK, well, until we hear to the contrary I'm going to take this user's comments as what to expect. They originally said an "Expectro Patronum remake set" so I'm going to assume that's what it is, and not a DH set. If it includes a more substantial version of the Forbidden Forest then I'll be somewhat happy with that, and extra Dementors are always welcome. I'd be very happy with a $160 Hogwarts addition, if that really is taking the Knight Bus' slot, no matter what its content is based on. So one of the unknown sets will likely be the Durmstrang ship - nice (and I'll be glad we can finally move on from that idea that comes around every year). I always wondered if that could include an Owlery build. So does that mean the other unknown set is actually The Knight Bus, or is The Knight Bus shelved for another year? Perhaps I won't be getting my Lovegood house this year. I'm still surprised there isn't a $20 set this - I've come to really love those. Oh, and if Gringotts does really include Bill Weasley that will be awesome. I did go on the Universal ride once, but I spent the majority of it with my eyes closed and teeth gritted.

Yes, it reminds me of that movie, too. In order to not take up too many minfig slots in the set, imagine if they gave you a sticker for each house for the Knight's shield and the instructions showed you you could pick which sticker you wanted to use. Then we could order three more Knights on bricklink and make one for each house. As a child, I always used to mod my 2004 Hogwarts to include a Lego bridge from the Adventurers line. This new castle system would easily allow for a bridge - they could do some more stone work for the base of the courtyard and then do a little stone section for the other side of the bridge (I'm thinking just two of those bases from the giant Hogwarts). I really hope we see that.

I also really want an older Seamus in his pullover/sweater vest, and McGonagall and her Knights. I'm not a big fan of several aspects of the final film, but that scene with McGonagall is enchanting.

And the Ship is iconic? I guess we can agree to disagree about that hehe. The Lovegood house might not be iconic but it's certainly interesting and would make a lovely Lego set. I do want a Ship, too, though.
