Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

This conundrum bothers me far more with the purple Classic Space helmet and airtank. The parts are only available for what? 2 or 3 months with weeks of unavailability during as well? When they announced the wait period on new parts to be about 6 months any part that is made available should also be available for about 6 months. It's already hectic enough with pieces going in and out of production within 12 months and a PAB availability of less than that. I welcome the announcement of pieces going out of production but if it's being treated with the same care as the build a minifig section of Legos website I don't expect it to be reliable for long. I got my two of each but only thanks to the parts bag GWP. I already imagined they wouldn't put the Spacemen torsos up because they fall under another fake license claim like most Ninjago pieces did for years, and don't do right now apparently. The space torsos should have been made available in February or March according to their original statement. You know how they have said that some parts, while identical in mold in color, have different internal IDs because they come from different production runs? I assume it's something like that, where they expected a shorter production run to suffice, then decided to produce some other set in between and so the new, larger run is effectively a new piece in the PAB inventory whilst physically identical.

I suspect a set with a figure of her is in the works based on one of the unique hair pieces in the Soccer Table set. The shape would be correct for Andor Mothma but it is included in bright yellow and black. https://images.brickset.com/news/83994_P1066284.JPG Top row, #5 from the left For ROTJ I currently use a standard male hair piece in medium dark flesh and gave the official torso from 2009 the new dress piece in white. I guess one could also use Larry the Baristas hair but it isn't available in any shade of nougat, and it is a tad too big. On the topic of ROTS Anakin here is a picture of my minimalist Anakin with the reddish brown Movie Lloyd hair https://bricksafe.com/files/BigJudge/small-star-wars-builds/Battle of the Heroes (1).jpg
  4. The one MBS I have been waiting for was Jabbas Palace because it would mean we could finally move on from OT scenes and vehicles and finally explore the Prequel era and some of its less explored concepts. But I don't know if it will ever be satisfactory now that none of the dancers and slaves can get included because of Lucasfilm mandates. A UCS / MBS hybrid Jabbas Sailbarge looks to be a more reasonable choice until that issue can get solved. The figures I would definitely need to be in either set are Droopy McCool & Sy Snootles to complete the Max Rebo band, Yakface Saelt-Marae because of his status as an absolute icon of ROTJ aliens and Amanin / Amanaman / Amani Warrior for his unusual design. I don't see much worth in an Endor MBS again. The Ewok village is good at covering that location. Already repeating previous locations would be odd when the Prequels are lacking so much in coverage. I also don't see the bunker and surrounding woods as MBS material, that has to be another normal set like in 2009 or a fan-made MOC to get the details just right. If it completes a full selection I am also in favor of an Oddball clone pilot in the next ROTS era clone fighter set (ARC-170, V-Wing, Theta shuttle, what have you) It bothers me that the Theta Shuttle and V-Wings always use enclosed mask pilots just because of the cross-sections books. The mask is an optional piece of equipment that any clone pilot can use. In media we see them with open faces everywhere except Genndy Clone Wars and that only because they didn't want to ever show the clones real face. The white mask head should be an optional piece or the backside faceprint on a fleshy head if included at all.

I am waiting for this part to be available for a reasonable price in a shade of brown since its introduction so I can get multiples. At first I thought they would use it for the Mustafar Duel set but was let down with yet another dark brown Anakin TCW piece that I didn't buy the set at all. It's nice that the dark brown version came back in production with the Atari set but reddish brown would be a better fit for ROTS Anakin. Also want it Medium Nougat for Clone Wars Genndy looks. Weirdly I bought a Cherry Tree set of another brand some time ago and it included that hair piece in reddish brown as a leftover. Is it ok to post pictures of something like that or is that against the rules? The guidelines say something about no discussion of parts that infringe copyrights but everyone posts custom parts from manufacturers that don't have a Lucasfilm license so I am really confused. His hair grows longer between the S2 and 3 looks. The current Anakin hair piece was designed for Season 1, so why should the longer piece be used first and for the later appearance a shorter part? That sounds completely backwards. I would say the current Anakin hair piece made for The Clone Wars is accurate for his appearance throughout all of The Clone Wars S1-6. For season 7 and ROTS the Lloyd Movie hair is closer due to it being longer relative to the TCW hair piece. The round part in the front is not perfect but hair pieces are never 1:1 fits unless the design was explicitly based on that one character, which is a rare occurrence. I don't like the proposed custom part because it very voluminous and so long that it blocks neck movement. The textures of the hair strands should also be smoother if it is supposed to be up to modern design standards. Those are bigger missteps than that one curl being a bit awkward.
