  1. I think that you already know how it works. Each person adds one characteristic (realistic or absurd) of a typical Lego fan. There is no end to the game and you can post as many times as you want (as long as it does not become spam).

    I begin with :

    1. Your main curse is "megablok!"

  2. This is what SW sets will look like in a few years.

    Example :

    Executor-Class Star Destroyer

    USD $3999.99

Break the rebel fleet with the ultimate Empire cruiser!

Here comes the Executor-Class Star Destroyer, the empire's flagship! Build the set to play with the 1300 flick-fire missiles included everywhere for an increased playability! Open the front panel to play with the 4 studs of space included inside! Discover the all-new "Whack'O set" function! Crush your favourite set with your fist and build it again for hours and hours of fun and Lego play! But that's not all! Now, every brick is white! Paint them or buy the stickers for increased maxi playability and tons of fun! Includes 1 stormtrooper minifigure! Buy the new overpriced Executor-Class Star Destroyer!*

*Box, instructions, parts, stickers and minifigs sold separatly

  3. It seems that the Comic-Con Lego exclusive is not a set but a pack of postcards. Disappointing :hmpf_bad:

    dk.jpg

And here is the description : "DK will be giving away a total of nine Star Wars LEGO postcards as well as a folder that will hold them. In addition, they will be unveiling an exclusive minifigure that will be included with LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary. While eight of the postcards depict multiple LEGO Star Wars minifigures, a ninth will include the exclusive new minifigure (which will be unveiled at the show)."

    1 Rex

    1 Cody

    2 Pilots

I didn't get any through magazines.

And I didn't get a single one DISHONESTLY through Lego.com's Customer Service. :hmpf_bad:

I have six, three regular and three commanders.
    I've got

    2 Rex's

    2 Fox's

    1 Cody

  5. I went to Toys r us and asked if i could have a look at the products catalogue for next year. I was suprised she said yes which was good.I had a look at it and it had the january 2009 sets there but on the second last page it had a long list of coming soon legos on it. I picked out the star wars ones

    8020: Ashoka's Starfighter $20

    8021: Tri Droid $30

    8022: Republic Star Destroyer $120

    8023: Episode 1: Gungan Bongo Sub $40

    8024: Episode 2: Geonosian Arena $80

    8025: Episode 3: Naboo Cruiser $50

    8026: Episode 4: Tantive IV $60

    8027: Episode 5: Millenium Falcon $100

    8028: Episode 6: Rebel Endor Base $50

they just listed the price and set number. I also asked about the competition sets and they said that none of the staff here know only lego excectutives know. but she didnt let me keep the catalogue. I'll try to get it next time I go and scan the page.

I have doubts concerning the list. First, why would Lego release a set from each episode if the Clone Wars TV series is on TV?

Second, a new millenium falcon? We had one in 2004, the UCS version last year and another two years later?

Third, a Tantive IV set at 60$ ? A set like that would be big. 60$ looks very cheap for a Tantive IV set.

And finally, the rebels never had a base on Endor. They attacked the imperial base instead of have one. Lego is almost never making errors when they're naming their sets.

  6. Yes we could, but:

    A. A review isn't made entirely from a bunch of pics and a conclusion.

    B. A review has sharp pics.

So this isn't really a review, but merely a load of pics and a comment.

I suggest you take the course given in the Reviewers Academy on reviewing and/or read the tutorials by following the link in my sig.

    A. I done everything a review needs : an intro (pieces, set number, etc.), different sections for the review (box, minifigs, ship), pictures, comments on each of them and a conclusion with the rating system. I don't see what I could add.

    B. I know that. I'll do better next time, this was my first review and I done it a little fast.

I already subscribed to the reviewers academy and I'll begin to read the instructions tomorrow.

I consider that I have do a good review, not perfect but good.

  7. 2006 was THE year for original trilogy sets. In 2007, it was a mix of the whole saga. Now it's the Clone wars.

We'll surely got many more CW sets in 2009 but I don't hope to see these sets too long.

Maybe 2010 will be an OT year, I don't know. But with the TV serie that is about to begin, we'll not have a lack of CW sets.
