Yes but for 4 more clones and a rex it's worth the money I think. I will need (WE will need) more clones for our new CW sets because of the actual lack of these minifigs.

I think that this clone wars battle pack is in reality the droids battle pack because if there's mention of the hailfire droid set, why wouldn't there be mention of the droid BP? Anyway I hope I'm wrong. I can't wait until 2009. I know it's a little crazy but the new clone wars sets have not even been released and I'm already beginning to wonder of what TLC will release in 2009 A mini venator-class star destroyer! Beautiful! Hey I thought to something. In one scene of the new clone wars movie, there is a fighter battle around a venator star destroyer. Maybe Lego will release a venator minifig scale set in 2009. What do you think about it?

Thanks for the review pineapple. You really described everything, every detail, every minifig, features, etc. Well now I think I'm ready to buy this set. But I have one question about Commander Cody : Can you move the arms and legs very well, well, almost or not with the accessories?

Not until next year, because we already know the remaining star wars 2008 sets. I think this clone battle pack should include at least 3 clone troopers with a commander or ARC trooper and a vehicle to go with.

I didn't say that I was not interested. I just wonder why Lego would release their comic con next year if we see the boxes on the pics. The pieces have been packaging, the manuel books are inside. Yes but lego could release a new exclusive set this year. But I'm not sure because we were not prevented. And yes the best figs are always expensive. Maybe it's because Lego knows that fans want them and then they increase their price ==> $$$

Yes but maybe that Lego will NOT make a new clone trooper battle pack because they're too expensive to produce. Look at the price of the new clone wars sets with one or two clone troopers inside. I think Lego just included one or two troopers in their new sets because however, the price would be too high. But I wonder why are the clone troopers so expensive to produce. Yes but the boxes are already ready. TLC just has to release it. Why would they wait until next year? Oh and, what is a comic con?

WOW!!!! What is that? a new special set??? Omg it includes 4 clone troopers and rex! It's a great set! Do you know the set number? Will it be released on Shop @ Home? When? Is it a TRU exclusive? Yes but it's a great way to increase our two armies. A droid battle pack, a hailfire droid set and four clone troopers! It's more than the AT-TE and the RGS together!

Thanks for these pics Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Now I have a few things to say about that new death star : 1. I like the sliding gate on the second picture. 2. I also like the surelevated command post for the death laser on the third pic, but there is no tube for the green laser. 3. The new emperor face is scarier than the new anakin minifig. 4. Luke has printed legs! 5. I don't like the new R2-D2 head in grey. 6. Not enough pieces in the trash compactor. A 12-item selection of new lego star wars sets? But there are just 8 new lego clone wars sets. Except if they includes some accessories. Yes, I think that the others items are the key chains.

I think this is one of the best star wars MOC I have ever seen! It looks like an official star wars vehicle! With the look, colours, angles, weapons, slopes, big cannon like the SPHA-T or the AT-AP. Do you have more like that?

I agree. But Lego is my drug. Even if the lego in canada are THE MOST OVERPRICED IN THE WORLD I must buy them! The 140$ price is ridiculous, but I will even buy it because it is a very very cool set.

Thanks for this review hotshot. I have no doubts, this is a MUST-HAVE for any clone wars fan! The lack of clone troopers is, I think, the only con of this set. Anyway I REALLY CAN'T WAIT to buy it. Many pieces, two jedis, one sith, only new minifigs, clone troopers, commander cody, bigger cannons, missiles, speeder, bacta tank, mobile command post. 5/5 Oh and, what is that mysterious commander part?

You can do so many things with so many pieces! Make a base, a ship, an UCS count dooku, a land vehicle, a human scale weapon, there are so many possibilities

I have to wait August 1st to buy my new AT-TE and RGS. I wanted to make a review but they are already done. I'll try to do a review of the fighter tank or spider droid if I can.

But it's the same thing each year. It begins with a rumor list of sets like this, then we have (some months/weeks before their release) the preliminary pics, then we have the official pictures, then we see everything of the sets by brickworld or the toy fairs, then we have the official pictures of the minifigs, boxes, etc. I have not the original MTT so if this list is confirmed, I'll buy it! And another droid battle pack? Wasn't the actually one enough? Maybe TLC will include droidekas or kind of new droids. And another clone battle pack? Fantastic! I need at least 6 clones and 2 pilots to complete my at-te and republic gunship so it will be the occasion for me to do that. But I hope that they will include at least one arc trooper or pilot in it. And do you know what the attack shuttle could be? Imagine if they would include missiles in the AAT's "feet". And I wonder how the interior will be and how many droids they will put in it.

I will use the two stickers because I want that my republic gunship is as official as possible.

The republic gunship doesn't includes four clones. Look at this pic, the guy got the republic gunship and there juste one clone (two if you include commander cody).

I think this is the ultimate lightsaber duel The base really don't look like the mustafar base, anakin and obi wan are light-up minifigures and there are some staff to move them from distance like in the ancient soccer sets.

Just a small reminder : the separatists are fighting the republic because they are secessionists so they strike at strategic cities and outposts of the republic to take control of it. And the rebels are fighting the empire because they want to come back to the old republic era. But on many of the lego star wars boxes, the background is never a city, base or outpost (which are very important places to take control of a planet and have more chances to defeat a enemy). Let's take some examples : The imperial dropship and rebel scout speeder : it's the desert! If the rebels want to defeat the empire, why are they attacking in the desert instead of more important places? (like Coruscant) AT-AP : forest! AT-AP commercial : geonosis desert! AT-TE : I don't even know what the background is supposed to be. Almost every clone set in 2005 : forest! Hailfire droid and spider droid : desert! Clone and droids battle packs : forest! Droid gunship : land! Fighter tank : desert! So the great question of my topic is : WHY are the empire, rebel alliance, republic and droids always fighting in nature instead of base, cities and outpost like I said on line 4???
