Maybe because the grey colors with just one blue stripe and some faded beige looks a bit plain and not eye-catching compared to the colors on previous Blues? I think that raptors are better for packs/army building than T. Rexes, AND the Beta figure is an exclusive mold so if it were up to me I wouldn't skip that. But hey, that's just my personal opinion

Sounds interesting. Maybe you could post some photo's of the final product when you're done? True, I guess that would'nt make a lot of sence. And if those hologram dino's would be all transparent you could see all the connections, insides and things you shouldn't see normally so that could look pretty weird and messed up. Nice, I think it's fits real good with the other Malta sets. They could look like a nice little part of a city of some sort

Carnotaurus set? The last Carno set we've got was from last year, and that one sure wasn't 37€ Also, you guys know a cool concept i've been thinking about? Hologram dinosaurs. I know it may sound ridiculous and almost impossible to make because of the sizes, but I think it would be incredibly dope and worth it, I had in mind that they could just use all of the normal pieces for the dinos but making it like those Lego Harry Potter animals in light blue transparent with the detailing in white. And i've also thought about a perfect future UCS set they could come with, the visitor center in the main street of Jurassic World as they were seen there in the movie.

I think that if we are lucky, we will get the Stego next year (if the theme continues), since the sets could be based on anything. I think that the Brachiosaurus is a must-have too, although they would probably downscale it, and I think this one could have likely a seperate jaw piece as seen in the videogame. True, some people don't even realise that Theri is a hebrivore

Well, it's kinda normal, because all of the herbivores 'till now don't have a seperate moveable jaw piece, with the Gallimimus as an exception. Besides, the mouths of herbivores are pretty small compared to the ones on most of carnivores, so I think it isn't necessary and that Lego wouldn't even consider making those herbivore mouth pieces.

Yeah ok, but common Lego dogs have a whole hollow underbelly and even the legs so that's nothing new..

Nevermind, it's next to Wu's desk. The only two things I didn't like was the hollow and non-articulating head, such a shame for such a majestic and big dino I think that isn't a good example, because it's such a small one-piece mold, so that wouldn't obviously make any sense at all. But they they literally re-did the whole Dilphosaurus and made 2 all-new molds for him, I guess it shouldn't be too hard to modificate such a big part for the Ankylo. Besides, you could say they changed the T. rex body mold to have spikes on the top for the Indominus. So dope! I hope they will continue developing this app because it looks so cool and I see it having a lot of potential

Yeah, they should've at least put a minifig in the smaller set that wasn't in the big one. Atleast Owen isn't included in all of the sets, apart from the last 3 years Also, you could add the new polybag to those two sets so it kinda looks like a 'market-place'.

Yeah that's what I was trying to say in that direction, but the colors should have been a bit more 'faded out' to my taste, just like the Baryonyx from last year And grey was also one of most common colors among dinosaurs.

Yeah true, I hope that if the theme continues they make an adult Anky of Bumpy next year and modificate it a bit so he has a broken horn and the head could be a seperate piece from the body I'm not a big fan of the colors from that T. Rex, because the colors look a bit unnatural and too bright on him, but that's after all just my personal opinion, I'd buy this set only for the figs.

Sure thing Lol, that battle between Blue and Red is like inevitable (much alike Star wars with the blue and red lightsabers), and we've never seen like a fight between raptors before in the franchise and I'm quite interested into seeing what could happen. That's actually a kinda good theory you have there and maybe he just died of getting older yeah, and of course you can always theorize about the blank spots in the storyline and think about what could have happened and all that stuff

Although I don't know if they only appeared on Isla Sorna Yeah ik, I have that set Also, I noticed that one of the Atrociraptors is called Red (obviously not something to mention) but, in the Lego LoIN series Owen has a dog who also was called Red. Coincidence? I think not, although I don't know what it could mean. Awkward is also that after the series he was never to be seen again (maybe eaten)

I have seen a lot of reviews, and in every one it has this same issue, so you're not the only one As far as I can see, it's definitely reddish brown Don't have a big problem with that, but heck, his eyes look a bit off because all of the other big herbivores have a yellow dot in the iris and this one doesn't, I know it sounds a bit whiny but just telling, also it's a bit weird that the the first two triceratops from 2012 and 2019 both have grey horns and this one's tan

Enough T. Rexes for me... I had a set in mind (diorama) like the grass field with a Brachiosaurus and some tall trees which could include a jeep or 2. Anyways, I was searching a bit and it seems that the diorama breakout set can't connent to the UCS gate set from 2019 and I think that's really a missed opportunity

True, I'm following him a lot these days, his dinosaur concepts are so amazing and accurate, but with a Lego-ish style and it's so perfect! But I guess it would destroy the budget for the theme, although I prefer quality over quantity. Imagine it would have had the Baryonyx head I think it would be interesting to see a neck piece too, and it could be reused for a future Parasaurolophus or Stegosaurus A nice set for TLW could be a sort of diorama set in the woods with the first Stego encounter of Ian and Sarah

I think it could just include like one of the main characters, like in the mini-castle set. Both? I thought there were 3 sets. To my taste they are pretty good and I like how Zurg turned out to look. I like how they made the star ship set look like a MBS set with that stand too
