    Thanks for the link, I've been searching for message boards or articles on the topic. I wasn't too concerned for the shooting cannons, I remember when those were 'Outlawed'!

    Goodmorning! I've been putting together my old sets and seemed to have run into a cannon shortage. I seem to have too many cannons with Imperial Markings. To the best of my memory, the first time these cannons appeared was 1992 with the Imperial Flagship and Trading Post sets. Does anyone know if this is correct or were any of those cannons inclulded in Lagoon Lock-Up or possibly Sabre Island? I've also purchased a few later sets on Ebay and Bricklink, Treasure Island and 6296 Shipwreck Island, and received the Imperial Cannons with Pirate Sets which I wouldn't expect to have them but maybe they did? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Rummy
