Hadn't clocked it was even on Smyths. Some Eternals sets are still on Lego.com at 40% off. I imagine the Hoopty will go the same way, loads of stock they can't shift. I'd probably pick it up for 40% off, if I needed something to get into a good GWP threshold.

Quite a few Marvel sets are on sale on the Lego website (in the UK at least). There's some news! The Hoopty is 20% off, taking it to £67.99 which is still outrageous.

Yes I suppose NYC is famous for being bland with no iconic buildings and landmarks whatsoever.

I'm impressed with the gotham city skyline set. No interest in batman, but I think something similar with spiderman would be great.

Ashnflash and minisuperheroes today both mentioned it in their youtube videos revealing the set details. As I said, probably wishful thinking on their part, but they do go to billund for sneak peaks of upcoming sets, interviews with designers etc so they may know more than they are letting on. With the lack of mcu films coming out in future years I'd have thought it was pretty likely spiderman will its fair share of sets.

Thats how I feel about it too. It seems like we are getting fewer unique sets and figs, and if you have been collecting for a while you are bound to see more repeats which won't interest you. If you have avengers tower there isn't much in these waves to tempt you by the look of it. The biggest disappointment is the spiderman advent calendar which could have been a chance to get some unique figs but doesn't sound like we are getting any. Ashnflash suggested (or was wishful thinking) that the spider pig head still being in production made him optimistic of an into the spiderverse wave next year. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think the figures look good, better than the captain america/wolverine ones. I've no interest in buying them though, and they are too expensive.

The Bowie is 30% off and the War on Water set is 40% off on the Lego website. At least in the UK. If anyone needed an excuse to buy....

When I requested it, it said it was out of stock. I've just checked again now and it says the same. Weird thing is the part is in the Avengers Tower so clearly still in production. I'll chase them up. I've been a bit slow as you can't see it on the ship on display so I'm not too fussed. It's more the principle!

Sorry to hear that, hope you get the replacement soon! I had a broken piece on the Bowie and it's been about 8 months since I requested and still haven't had it.

I'd be more surprised if it did include the first 5 guardians. None of the other ships have done this before.

I wouldn't mind another couple of mechs. It would be more than we got for what if season 2. At least the season 1 mechs brought some interesting figures. We wouldn't have got the Watcher fig anywhere else.

We didn't hear about the Avengers Tower GWP until quite late relative to the set coming out. Based on that set, I wouldn't get your hopes up about an exclusive figure or anything. The taxi was such a poor set compared to what it could have been! Me too. I missed out on Hela last time and can't justify the cost now!

Agree about Ronan. I think he'll definitely be in the Milano. And that same thought had crossed my mind about the Avengers Tower too. I haven't bought it yet but wondering if I'll need too.

I agree! I think the Star Wars stuff sounds great, it sounds like What If to me (which is rumored to be coming for Star Wars). Definitely scope for sets like that in the Marvel theme, especially with fewer films coming out.

Yeah it has been a slow start to the year. I think this could be a quieter year for Lego Marvel overall. I don't think we'll get past the 237 pages of the 2023 thread! In terms of suits, I'd echo whats been said above. Colour variety would be great. The Hot Rod, Gamma, Blue Steel, Tiger, Starboost and Disco ones would all be interesting. I think the mansion structure could look really good. I think the figures would be the issue. We'd all want it to be like the tower or bugle with 25+ figures, but I could see it being more like the sanctum with 7 figs and lots of wasted potential.

Good shout. Do you see it as a modular? Or at least modular compatable? Be a great way to get some more suits for the hall of armour. 13

Hopefully there will be as its a great way to get more characters. The official lego site in the UK has them at 20% off currently though, if that's any indication of performance. I don't remember other series being discounted? (Not that I look too closely at other series)
