Pls no, these book minifigures are nothing new, they are just random versions of Ron and Hermione built from part we got in sets like Chess or Grawp. These minifigures have zero value to me and I don’t mean in terms of money, but from design point of view. I could make these minifigures now by combining some parts of minifigures that I already have, so having them in new set would a terrible idea. When I buy new set I also want some new prints on minifigures, and if they are all reused, they need to be at least accurate to the scene. This theme has been doing a great job in terms of not reusing minifigure prints as much as we are used with other licenced themes. They even gave us new prints for entire trio from POA in Hospital Wing set whem everyone was expecting they would just reuse their versions from Hagrid’s Hut set… so I hope they will continue with this great approach.

Lego probably already has the licence if they want to release Indy sets this year.

I mean yeah the basic shape could be 8x8 which would suit this new blocky style, but I still think the exterior design would be very lacking. I would argue about detailing, because if look at some pictures, the towers have quite a rich fasade with lots of small elements which would be mostly ignored in new style imo. I was purist too, until I got my first 2021 Hogwarts sets, when I realized that the only way I can make them work with 2018-2020 sets (and not look like a big mess of random Hogwarts buildings) is to get rid of sand green roofs :D

I would definitely want to get Dumbledores office and Troll in the bathroom, but those could be smaller to middle sized sets, which is the reason why I think that there is no reason to have another wave focused on Hogwarts castle takings majority of spots (mainly big ones). Secondary Hogwarts locations that you mentioned are completely different story. I think remake of Hagrids Hut in PS/CoS style would be very much welcomed addition as well as more Hogsmeade stuff and maybe even locations from Triwizard Tournament. ... After reboot I pretty much gave up on waiting for the Bell Towers set which we should have gotten after the Astronomy Tower. I recently ordered parts for the Bell Towers MOC by JL.Bricks, which is honestly just perfect version. I would be kinda pissed if they finally did it as a set now, but as you mentioned in new style it would look nowhere near as good as in 2018-2020 style.

Why awful? Most of people have complete Hogwarts castles so there really is no need for more big expansions for now, but we miss a lot of non-Hogwarts locations. Besides that you missunderstood what I meant by Hogwarts sets sry. By Hogwarts sets I specificaly mean castle buildings, so not Hagrids hut, forest sets etc. As Brickbob said, there already were waves where we had more non-Hogwarts sets and those were the best ones imo. 2021 wave was all about Hogwarts (also not particularly well designed but that is for different discussion) with just Hogsmeade set, which was kinda let down for me. I wouldn't be so sure that Lego will not make wave with majority of non-Hogwarts sets, because they are quickly running out of ideas, and this new blocky system is very restrictive in terms of what buildings they can actually design as you can't make round shapes and towers from it.

Honestly I would like if they just took a break in this summer wave from doing big Hogwarts sets and instead focused on all iconic locations outside of the Hogwarts castle. Yes do maybe 1-2 smaller Hogwarts sets whatever, but leave the big spots for something different this time. There are many possibilities and great ideas which have been mentioned here multiple times like Ministry of Magic, 2nd Task, maybe even arena for 1st task, Grimmauld Place, Shrieking Shack, Hogsmeade Station, Leaky Cauldron, Inferi Lake... could also name few DH locations but lets not go in there as we know what is the current opinion of the designers team on that :D

When do we expect summer set names/descriptions to leak? Late February or early March? I need some hype as Hospital Wing and new Moments sets are kinda meh with exception to new minifigures.

Not really when you realize they released Privet Drive set during OotP/HBP year :D

Shrieking Shack and 2nd Task set, those are two sets I wanna see and the rest can only suprise me.

Very unlikely so early, this theme aint Star Wars. My bet is on Troll in the bathroom set.

I was completionist with 2018-2020 line, because most of the sets were amazing and I didn't expect this theme would get reboot, so I could justify buying even weaker sets. Now with after soft reboot I am only minfigure completionist. I want to have every exclusive minifigure, but I only buy sets which I like or need to make my castle bigger, so no to moments sets and no to brickbuild creatures or figures. I will still buy all new Hogwarts sets, because I managed to find a way how to connnect them with 2018-2020 sets and still keep castle somewhat movie accurate and displayable (you can check my work on Instagram). I am still not decided if I will buy Hospital Wing or not, because that tower design is very bad and I don't want to have 2 Clock towers in my display....specially if 2019 version is such a superior build.

Remake of Lego Indy videogame with all 5 movies would be also great. In case of sets I hope this time we get all main villains and maybe even CMF to get all kinds of variants.

Yesterday I finally saw this rumor being shared on Instagram, so why is that other big leakers like Falcon Fan still ignore it? I guess that they wait for some more reliable source right?

Well I can show you. These new sets were made to be able to stack on each other, but when you do it, it simply looks like one big ugly random wall that looks nothing like Hogwarts. The different fasade styles and blocky shape of these buildings visually dont work togather for me when stacked vertically, so I rather use 2018-2020 sets between them to stack them horizontally. Clock Tower is not 100% like the official set, because we dont have instructions avaible yet, but the basic design is same. I dont think those few cents (1-2 euro max) saved by not using plates makes much of a difference in one set... they simply wanted to save money overall, this is just poor excuse to do it, because I dont really see more datails than in 2018-2020 sets, the rooms are just bigger...

There is no official picture of that yet, but you can connect them however you want, that is the point of this new system. Besides that I never liked the official suggestion from Lego how to connect these sets, because I want to have them at least somewhat movie accurate.

Yeah we have pyjamas Harry from CMF, so we have everything needed to make this scene :) Also I don't think they made these new versions of trio minifigures with dirt stains only for Hospital Wing set wink wink :DDD

2019 Clock Tower had very decent Hospital Wing, in fact it had almost identical build for those 2 bedside tables and lamp, and it also had 2 beds with curtains but with weaker build. So it is not the first time we got the Hospital Wing, this is just slightly upgraded version as it had one more bed with better build. Yes there is printing on that round tile piece

I love the fact that they still keep using 2018-2020 sets as the box art on these new sets. That just shows how movie accurate they were, if they use them for backgroud instead of non Lego pictures of the Hogwarts buildings.

As usual with this rebooted wave, superb minifigures sell otherwise mediocre sets to me :DDD

Nah CMF Trelawney is still superior, nothing beats printed skirt piece. Agree but still much worse than 2019 version imo

I guess this set kinda still belongs to this years wave and I dont think we are getting new frog cards, it is just additional set with cards to make it easier for people to complete their collection of frog cards
