Obviously the main bangers we are all waiting for are the Battle of Hogwarts and the Hogwarts Express so…

Are they really using the same torsos or there are some minor details which make DA ones exclusive? Edit: Oh they are absolutely same, even the same face prints. Such a lazy solution from Lego that they just swap their torsos instead of making slightly updated variants.

I think it’s expected to be during next week. Let’s hope it’s gonna be early so maybe tomorrow.

So that means other sets won’t follow?

Because some people, mainly kids can’t afford D2C version. That’s it. As an AFOL I don’t like this set being released either but at the same time I understand why they made it… at least I can save some money because I can gladly pass it.

Damn and people seriously thought this was gonna be on the same level as Diagon Alley version? It looks like a version from Wish to me. But that is not the main problem, the minigs are. Instead of giving us new characters that would absolutely make sense like Cormac, Narcissa (with Draco ofc), they rather put there some random students just for the sake of diversity…boring. Of course Gringotts is gonna be compatibile with old version of DA, why it wouldn’t be? In the worst case you will need to remove that undergroud section to connect it. It’s rumored to be in scale with Diagon Alley and that is all that matters.

Just a wishfull guess or some logical reasoning behind this prediction?

I assume they have some pictures when they release final descriptions of the sets because they often use phrases like "it appears to be… it looks like…" etc. Maybe as a diehard fan I’m being nitpicky here but still I don’t understand how they confused Great Hall with Clock Tower :D

Also can we talk about how Promobricks thought this Battle of Hogwarts set is based on the Clock Tower? I mean even on this blurry picture it’s more than obvious that it is the entrance of the Great Hall building. That is why I always take their descriptions of sets and minifigures with a grain of salt.

What is the tall black building next to Weasley Wizard Wheezes?

Shouldn’t we start seeing first pictures of the summer sets? They are releasing in june which is less than two months away and we don’t even know what minifigures are included in some sets…. that is weird.

I mean that is the right way to show them that we want more Indy sets... the other is of course buying those that are currently avaible.

Why are we getting more and more Harry Potter sets despite there being no more movies (and both latest FB movies flopping hard)? Because they sell well. Why this can't be the same case with Indy theme?

I don’t get it either. If these pilot sets are gonna be mega successful there is no reason to not make more of them either next year or in 2025. Just because some leakers, LAN members, redditors and whoever else say there are currently no plans for more sets doesn’t mean there won’t be any in the future. I remember how we heard this about Gringotts set from the designers themselves like 2 years ago and look what we are getting now.

Show me a licenced theme that was made (or came back) during time when sequel movie came and it didn’t include some sets based on the sequel movie :) Harry Potter, Pirates of Caribbean, LOTR all used the hype for the new movies to make at least few sets based on them yet we get only 3 OG Indy sets and that’s it…why did they even bother bringing back that theme?

If the sales will drastically exceed the expectations then Lego might change their mind and fix it but not this year anymore I think

If it’s just because of one element and not some kind of political/cultural controversy, why they just don’t fix that part of the set and release it later lol? That doesn’t make much sense. I would really like to know from the designers what is the real reason why they cancelled it and why they made only 3 sets ... but I guess we will never find out the truth.

Because it makes sense to expect more than just 3 sets? Like why would they bring back this theme and not use the hype around the new movie to sell more sets... besides no one takes anything as confirmation here, we are just hopeful for more which is understandable.

Sounds promising

I expect more buidings because if it has the same scale as Diagon Alley set than the piece count is too big for just one building even with the underground system and the dragon.

Hopefully they will change their mind on that if this wave is gonna be successful.

How can you be so sure? I mean it is likely yes, but we still don't know if it's cancelled or just delayed. LAN members can be wrong.
