Funny how you never step in when people spew their statist nonsense, but always when I argue back. Ban me. -

"Plans to blow it up." LOL. Who's planning that, qAnOn cOnSpiRacY thEoRisTs??? Funny how people neglect to mention that the "armed" and "deadly" "insurrection" was only deadly because an armed cop shot an unarmed rioter. Also funny how no one cared when BLM burned down people's homes and business, but when some poeple flip over a bunch of desks in a government building everyone loses their minds. Let's have the national guard permantly stationed at the capitol and take every citizen's guns away. Great idea. That totally won't enable tyranny. -
Harry Potter 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Filmmakers often want the costumes/sets/props to be made extra colourful because toning the colours down in post is easier and looks better than trying to increase saturation of colours that are muted to begin with. I think the minifigures should reflect how the costumes appear in the film, not how they look in real life. That's why I really don't like Snape's bright purple waistcoat or Voldemort's green robes from the CMF series. Neither of them look like the costumes in the film. That being said, I don't think the new McGonagall figure is that bad. -

Blasphemy! I think Harry is one of the best characters in all of literature. But maybe that's just cause I'm an INFJ -

What's funny is—and I say this as someone who is not particularly fond of the anniversary style—just before the August wave was revealed, I had a thought that maybe it would be kind of nice to build a quaint little anniversary Hogwarts with all the scenes from the first two films depicted and nothing else. But the fact that there's no more additions (no Troll, no winged keys, etc.) really squashed that. -

They've been using brown for Hermione's hair, even for the minifigures based on the films toward the middle of the series where her hair is lighter and more similar to Lavender's hair colour. I don't think brown would work for Lavender. -

I like Hermione, I just think it's weird to make a set of buildable figures that doesn't include Ron. 1. Hogsmeade - I've been looking forward to a Hogsmeade set ever since the reboot started and the build looks nice. I wish it was bigger and included some of the other notable buildings, but this is still the only must-buy for me out of all the 2021 sets. 2. Polyjuice/Bathroom - It's cheap and includes Cat-Hermione as well as "Crabbe and Goyle," so I might get it even though it doesn't look that appealing as a build on its own what with the open roof. 3. Chess - I'm really interested to see what this looks like. Could end up being really cool or not so much. -

The book itself actually isn't bad either. It has a minifigure gallery and some interviews with the designers. Also, the cover is hilarious. I recommend it! -

I think Tom Riddle looks okay! Not sure why they made his jacket pinstriped though. -

I personally wouldn't buy either one, but yeah, I reckon a Moments set would have been better received. Am I the only one who cringes every time I type "Moments?" Lol. -

The 2018 X-wing says hi. I'd probably just wait until next year. They've got to do Gringotts eventually, right? -
