  1. Thanks for your positive comments. I'm currently working on a PDF-building-instruction, so you don't have to use the LDD-File. @JunkstyleGio: Love to see someone already rebuilding it. But I'm not sure about the scale @timr: It's in my post.
  2. This is pure genius! I love how you implement the features and "hide" the levers in the framework. I will definitely test it myself. Thanks for sharing
  3. It should be impossible to have 4 peg holes in a 2x2 brick. I made a short test in MLCAD and that's the result: The pegs would intersect each other.
  4. That's my "Technic Hand". You can use it to push and pull axles, connectors, etc without using your teeth or hurt your fingers
  5. Thanks a lot for putting my crane on the frontpage. I appreciate that :)

    [MOC] 7-wide european fire engine

Oh yeah, I really like the way you manage to put that much equipment into a small size model. The details are very well done, especially the pump. I used to be a firefighter and love how you placed the PSA inside, just like the real thing. One small critique: What about using black chain-elements on the back?
  7. To make the download more easy I will attach the file directly: Mini_Mobile_Crane_laixEngineering.lxf
  8. I really like this bike and the chrome is outstanding Your technic models stand out, because of their great look and you manage to add your own style to every one of them!
  9. Hey ho, I recreated the crane in LDD and want to share it with you With several groups to hide and unhide it should be possible to rebuild it by this file. Mini Mobile Crane Have fun. laix Edit: Lego Digital Designer lacks in some parts, you have to replace the fake parts by these: - Technic Turntable Small under turret (99010, 99009) - Pneumatic Cylinder (47224c01) - Two Small Pumps (x191c01) - Pneumatic Switch (4694b) - The 6 red Liftarms 1 x 9 Thick (40490) should be yellow
  10. Hey guys, thanks for all your positive feedback, it makes me proud and happy Unfortunately there will be some major exams the next months and I won't have that much time building Lego or creating instructions. But I will try to continue building some small size models after studying all day. Just looking for some inspiration . Best regards, laix
  11. I like to hear others like it. My Brickshelf-Folders are public now so, you can take a look at the pictures and I'm willing to answer every question. I may take some photos when I disassemble it As I wrote, it's not my design, but Erik Leppen's.
  12. Take a look at the instructions of e.g. 8043. Booklet 1/3, Page 35 Booklet 1/3, Page 45
  13. Click on the picture in your Brickshelf-Folder until you have a window with a single picture. The URL should end with .jpg. You have to insert this URL after clicking on the little picture button when posting. Hopefully this helps ^^ laix
  14. It is allanp's design and he describes it pretty well. I experienced no problems using the M-motor, because I usually combine it with an Auto-Valve to turn off the pumps if the pressure increases.
  15. I have 9 "old" pumps in stock and won't spent more money for 8 new ones - not yet . Their only advantage is the 6L length and I think this design deals with the 1/2L displacement quite well.
  16. Great build and style. Can I ask you how much time you spent on editing your images? They always look outstanding.
  17. I really like this classic design. Are you planning to put on some custom stickers? What about rescue shears like this They would fit the scale of your truck, if you use LEGO Pneumatics
  18. Has anyone ever seen some kind of prototype of the truck in real? I'm fascinated about those trucks and the only pictures, videos and references available are renderings. Thanks for the photos by the way.
  19. Hey, I'm a 23 year old student from Germany (excuse my poor English) and started building Lego again one year ago, after several dark years Today the new Technic Sets arrived in stores and I was curious about the new turntable. After I finished the build I began modding. A 20t meshes with a 10t, so less turns on the crank are needed. I also made a video of the pump turning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDUjde1l3Sk Hope you like it
