  1. I have now built the Corvette and as usual I have also made it remote controlled.

     Steering have a much better steering angle than stock and a rear differential, which makes it possible for very tight corners.

    Using the AAA(train) Hub and 2 Large Powered Up motors.

    I have made what I can to make the modification as invisible and clean as possible.

    The only real difference is that the trunk space are slightly smaller.

    Can you spot anything of the electronic parts?

    I agree with sacrificing the 4WD system in order to have a more "original" look to the finished MOC. I had to choose to remove all of the interior from my 42110 Defender in order to fit the motors, battery hub, and other driveline features.

    Yes the top can be lifted off. I have only made changes to the chassi.

    I would love to build a 4WD version, but that will have to be with Buwizz or other smaller battery box. Or you have to sacrifice something. I wanted to build it with modern Lego battery and motors.

    I have at least kept the suspension working as it should. 


  4. How do you like my motorized Land Rover?

    I have tried to hide all electronics completely and keep all original functions.

    I would really have liked to make it 4WD with diffs, but  there is not that much space to hide motors and other stuff in this model even if it is quite big.

    So for now it is only rear Wheel drive with a straight axle without diff.

    I might try with a Buwizz instead of Powered Up and add some more functions. Maybe a working winch and some lights?

    If using a Buwizz and a genuine Lego Servo it will be possible to have proportional steering. I used CaDa battery and Servo which do not have any steps.

    Honestly, I'm impressed it moves as well as it does. It's not a technic leaning bike like @piterx does and I made instructions for, it's a Creator bike and it's amazing it moves at all, and probably a bad plan to try and get it much faster.

    I think it is under 1kg, but it is still much heavier than a Technic set. I had no intention to build a fast bike when I constructed it. But with Buwizz; CaDa pro motor and slightly higher gearing ratio, it will probably double the speed, but not enough for drifting. Tried to fit a large motor but was not able to hide it well enough.

    It is so hard to attach photos in this forum...

    Battery sits between rear wheel and M motor, you can see the charge cable connected at on picture.

    In the video I used a CaDa battery and a Lego M motor. You could use a Buwizz in Ludicrous mode and maybe some clone motor with more power and it will be a lot faster. It is easy to change the gearing ratio also if needed.


  8. Full RC Conversion of 10269 Harley Davidson Fatboy

    After many hours of trial and error, broken bits and gray hair I have finally a working Remote Controlled Harley. And it actually works wery well and are not more fragile than the orginal set.

    My goal was to create a slower motorbike that you can play with in your living room, so self balancing was not an option as this requires high speed to work. My bike runs on "training wheels" all the time that leans at the same time as the handlebar stears. 

    Have tried my best to hide the electronics an keep it as close looking as possible to the orginal set. 

    Motorized wtih Buwizz/CaDa battery to save space and Power Functions motors.

  9. Lego released a new Creator veichle and as a tradition I have motorized it with remote control.

    A bit easier to hide all electric parts this time as the car is really big. But it is also heavy and slow with only one L motor for drive.

    There are some small changes to the interior, but all details are still there. 

    I have created instructions to build it with Powered Up parts, but if there are any interest I might add instructions for other power systems later.

    This is the type of project where a Buwizz3 would really make sense. You could use a PU 45303 M-motor as a servo, saving yourself the pain of unreliable PF servos and allowing yourself to build it with <90 degrees of steering input to lock (PF servos tend to try and rip the model apart if you physically block them at <90 degrees), and then also get plenty of power for whatever brand L-motor you use for drive, whether PU (if it fits) or PF.

    For the youtube video, I used a Buwizz battery. It will be a bit slower with CaDa but it have a geared up Large motor, so it is till moving at some speed.

    Can PU 45303 really be used as a servo? I believed that you need PU 88013 to get a motor with angle sensor.


  11. I continue my mission to motorize the Creator Expert fleet, have already done a bunch other of them.

    I always try to make the motorization as inivisible as possible, you should not be able to see any electronics without looking very carefully.

    As the Porsche is pretty big and heavy I used ad Buwizz and a Large motor geared up 20/12 to give it the power that a Porsche deserves. If you do not need Turbo Power it could also be powered with a cheaper CaDa system.

    Since the PF servo is so big and bulky, i have used an M motor with a rubberband return to center function instead.

    Also added 2 pairs of Power Function lights, altough I am not totally happy with the front lights, but this was the best I could come up with.

    Because I am creating instructions for other to build this, I have not used any rare/expensive bricks and tried to reuse as many bricks as possible in new locations. It only requires about 150 extra bricks and electric parts.

    If there are interest, I might create Power Functions and/or Powered Up versions later. I have some ideas to hide the IR reciever and there is still space for a slightly larger battery and motor.

  12. VW Beetle RC conversion. 
    All orginal details are still there(full interior, fake engine, gas tank, spare wheel etc), the "only" difference that it can drive:)
    Can be powered with many different power systems(Power Functions, Buwizz, CaDa, Powered Up).
