I'm surprised LEGO didn't use AI this time. -

So we now FINALLY know something about the cancelled 2020 sets. I remember MandR mentioning it in a rumor video at the time, and always wanted more info on what we missed out on. I hope LEGO has seen that at least the loud online community wants a remake of the 2002 set. By the way, no mention of 2X Insider points, do we know anything on that front? -

Saw the new keychain of pilot Luke on lego's website, and it's the printed arms and dual-molded legs version. If they are making such exclusive parts for a simple keychain, I wish that could become the standard for all rebel pilots. -

The Hobbit movies are having a re-run in my city, and rewatched An Unexpected Journey yesterday evening. Man, the scenes with the Wargs hunting the dwarf company, and especially the one with Radagast, are so incredibly cool. Wargs are crazy expensive on BL (as everything else Middle-Earth related) so imagine an orc battle pack that would give us a couple of these. I now have a craving to get a whole pack of those beasts. Being able to army build the eagles would be a dream as well. The potential in this theme is through the roof. -

Let's try to put together a minifigure selection, just for fun. I will probably forget someone important, was some time ago that I watched the movies. How about 22 figs focused around the battle, excluding the part with Gandalf etc: Aragorn, Gimli & Legolas Theoden, old man with bow, 6 Rohan soldiers Haldir and 4 elves. Berserker, 5 Uruk-hai Yes, not a lot of Uruk-hai, but a battle pack for both factions should be released alongside. -

Well, if helmet shape and print quality gets worse, then of course people are going to complain. I do agree that some of them go over board with how much they are complaining, but to say that they are getting exactly what they want is not right. On the topic of a stormtrooper battle pack, I don't think we need it given how often stormtroopers are sprinkled into other sets. Sure, it would be nice but an imperial battle pack with some- or a combination of Death Troopers, Shore Troopers, Imperial Army Troopers etc. would be way cooler, because that's minifigures that we don't often get and that are hard to come by on the secondary market. Stormtrooper do go for around $4 on Bricklink. Yes exactly, he's taking an easy bet in order to gain reputation in the community as a reliable leaker. -

The GWP makes it a day one buy. Still haven't gotten Rivendell so better get going with that. Yes, I definitely think more sets are being planned, and will be released if Darad-dûr is well received. I don't think Minas Tirith is possible to do justice, and I am unsure of whether LEGO has confidence in an Edoras selling well. Making a huge Helm's Deep would make so much sense next year with the War of the Rohirrim movie coming out. I got the impression that the designers are looking to complete the theme by making sets we previously haven't gotten before doing remakes, but I think Helm's Deep or a bigger Bag End set would be the "safest" sets if LEGO still doesn't have full confidence in the theme selling well. -

I don't quite understand the sentiment against wanting an exclusive GWP. If you can't purchase the set on its release, you miss out on the GWP. Similarly, if there's no exclusive GWP offered, you won't receive any GWP. Same result regardless, but instead now no one gets the GWP. Ultimately, it's an additional set that we wouldn't have received otherwise. And that's an absolute win in my book. -

Is there no confirmation on Revan coming or do you know for certain that he isn't? -

If we are going by the most fan-requested figs, then Wat Tambor has to be in contention for one of the slots. He is by far the most requested separatist leader. Count Dooku should also come out soon, given his last set appearance; however I rule him out since we have already gotten him in LEGO form. The latter point could also be made as an argument as to why Revan won't show up again. The temptation to snag him off Bricklink grows stronger by the hour. -

20th anniversary of the Clone Wars being hinted at? Sorry but isn't 2023 the year of that? -

Let's hope the battle pack doesn't. Would be hilarious to "accidently" army build Revan. What a relief to finally get Fives, I was wondering whether my Fox minifigure would have anything to shoot at or not. -

You made an excellent point! These codenames always seem to be so cryptic, yet this time it might be telling us exactly what it is. Adding to that, the May release date, and we may or may not have our first Star Wars CMF. I do think a collectible minifigures line is inevitable at some point; however it still feels as far away as the galaxy itself. If one does come out, I would not know whether to be excited or terrified over the insane hunt over the few months the series will be available. The scalping would be out of this world, almost like rereleasing Mr. Gold.
