That's what I floated yesterday, and while I am not sure after these past two days, I think it's worth a shot.

I am currently unsure of Alden's position. He gave me suggestions to go to, and of course all of them turned to be Pirate (also somewhat stastically I'd mainly find Pirates). I also would say I was not attacking Alden, that was not an attack, not like what we've seen on some of the other Pirates the past few days.

We could also block or jail me and lynch Jack or Joseph, but me things ye wouldn't be for that.

Ok, I investigated Louisa Hammond last night and came back with an unsuccessful result, the same as I got from Malcolm. I think this is related if "Unknown" is possible.

I myself have wondered if Henry or Alden be scum, but both can't be the godfather as they returned town. Was I brought into a web of lies and deceived? As I mentioned, Jack and Ogden, of the two on your list I investigated could be scum. It's one or the other. While I am not I will confirm, I have only been in contact with Jack, not you or Ogden through PM. This could lead to Jack being a godfather is he was actively trying to court my attention to clear him. It is a thought I had the second day, which is why I held off contacting him until the end of Night 2, wanting to see results. If he is the godfather, I fell for it. That being said, you did not tell, you only gave suggestions. If you are scum, ones you know would turn up town leaving me spinning, and if you are Pirate, it happens, I don't hold that against you. Now I want to draw attention to Alden's comment to Finch, the "Most likely Jane I think, because vig is also not consistent with Remy's claim about when his role would be useful. This leaves Alex as investigator." This seems out of place, as he knows by now I am the investigator, and he even states it later in the same comment. Unless people believe I am not the investigator (I don't think people doubt me right now with what's been discussed), either this is a slip-up of where I am misreading the statement, or a slip-up on your end. I'm really starting to believe this theory. Louisa's latest comment about Godfather's turning people who target them, I haven't seen it, but could it happen? That being said, I would've been turned, but I think the info I've provided doesn't fit with your idea. Right now, I don't like this choice about to make, because it means I would've been very, very wrong this game up until now, but I'm going to vote (since it's open)... Alright, I'm the investigator. I investigated Jack Alden the first night, followed by Henry, and then Finch. My results were all Loyal Pirates for them. Last night, I investigated Malcolm but came back with no result, meaning I was either blocked or similar. I reached out to Alden the third day and he's who I've been in contact with. I was then asked if I wanted protection last night by Patrick (through Alden).

As others have said, I do believe some of these night claim roles could be false. If not, there's a very powerful PR roles. If Gordon be truly the inventor, I wish to see it confirmed by Alden, who said he receieved the device.

Yargh that be not good. Sorry, I be cleaning the cannons so far, became a wee bit caught up. Losing Remy be a loss, especially if his PR claim be true. I agree with Holton, I thought Remy was scum there. He has a point with Louisa flip-flopping as well.

I assumed wrongly the rules be the standard fare, and I do agree votes on the Anchor be wasted. A furry and a Pirate? This be too much. I found Barty a good vote as he be one of the two at the time who had contributed not too much, even if Day 1 tend to be as fluffy as your furry suit. As we move forward in the day, my three suspects be Ogden, although he seems to be getting some unfair heat for possible words bein misued; Gordon for his somewhat odd statements, not because he called out me; Remy, because he be French and dirty.
