    Pirates Mafia - Day Eight

I'd be ok with ending the day early because I could forward irrefutable proof that I am town and I think probably everyone except maybe Patrick would still vote for me. Unfortunately, I don't have a night action that I could have used for that purpose. Neither do you, and you and I have voted the same On Day 2 - Day 6, and I've arguably been more vocal than you on trying to weed out the scum in the threat. And I've been working with Patrick to do the same. Yet, I'm the one being lynched. My bad.

Who did you supposedly try and protect last night? The only way that Louisa and I are on the same team is if we are both town. This is because I am town, as the three supposedly loyal pirates voting for me will find out in the morning. The two scum voting for me already know this. You switched your vote from Joseph to Louisa yesterday, thereby splitting the vote. If Louisa and I are supposedly scum together, why did you not switch to me and ensure my lynch? Exactly. Why didn't he? If he is scum, he could have taken me out yesterday by switching his vote to me instead of Louisa. It would have put him in the spotlight for sure in the morning, but they could potentially have made a kill in the night. That would have put the numbers at two scum / two town this morning, which you have said is a scum win for sure. If he is scum, why did they not take the chance? I can understand why he would want to make me look scummy, but I don't understand what the purpose is of making himself look scummy at the same time. Everything that I have said here and to Patrick in PM since I contacted him at the start of day 3 has been truthful, or at least what I believe to be the truth. I withheld details in my PM with Louisa because I don't trust her, but again I did not lie. My logs suggest only 24 hours until another loyal pirate is lynched.

You know you just handed scum the win, right?

I agree that this is possible. My message in a bottle to you was to urge you to jail yourself and insist that Louisa block me. Presumably no-one if your claim you blocked him is true. I didn't say or imply he was the best option, only that I was open to lynching him.

Who do you trust to be town?

    Pirates Mafia - Day Eight

The only two people I trust are town at this stage are myself and Patrick. So, yeah, I'd be willing to entertain lynching Timothy, or you, or Louisa, or Henry. To me, Louisa keeps coming up as the most likely scum, so that's why I've been focused on her. Joseph, why do you think we should lynch Timothy?

    Pirates Mafia - Day Eight

I slept soundly, all night, in my bunk again, and the lack of a kill has nothing to do with me being blocked. If anything, Patrick jailing me would have protected me from any scum action.

Me thinks the captain is getting frustrated with us! Louisa, Patrick - actions from last night?

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

I am town. As I pointed out before, if you truly believed Louisa and I are both scum, you should be indifferent between voting for her and voting for me, and you should change your vote to Louisa because that will get rid of one scum. And it has the added benefit of leaving me, a loyal pirate, safe and giving town a decent chance of winning. If you don't believe we're both scum, then why put that statement out there?

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

It's a little contradictory to suggest that it is impossible for me to be scum, but leave the option open that Henry might be scum. And if Henry is town, why would you block him? For the record, the point I was making was that I still think you're scum . I'm not changing my vote.
  11. Jack Alden

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

Lynching me will also spell the end for town unless Patrick can block the scum kill overnight, because I am definitely town. Louisa, I keep thinking, if you were scum, you would not actually go as hard for my lynch as you have had because you would know that you'd be outed as soon as I flip town in the morning - and I will flip town. But then I realise that it won't matter by then because, if you are scum, you will have the numbers in the morning to win. Can you share your reasoning for why you think Timothy and / or Henry might be the remaining scum?

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

This logic is flawed. Thomas investigated you on Night 2, and then Joseph on Night 3. He didn't contact Joseph as far as I know. He did say though that he didn't contact you because he didn't trust you. That is not all you said ... (emphasis added by me): Vote: Louisa Hammond

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

@Joseph Finch, I want to lynch Louisa today, not you. Whichever way I look at it, Louisa is the common denominator, not you. If you are town, it is likely her and Henry (and I think less likely her and Timothy). I questioned Henry’s claim early on in the game because I also recognised it would be an easy claim for scum. It was Patrick being adamant Henry is town that made me discount him.

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

I guess I need to spell it out a bit clearer. I believe you and Joseph are both scum. Exactly why we can't afford to get it wrong on the lynch today. If I am lynched today, we will all but give the game to scum. Lynch me today and scum kill a townie overnight leaves two scum and two town at the start of Day 8. We won't be able to lynch scum because we don't have the majority and we have to pray that their kill target is whoever we protect at night. Either a stalemate or scum win. Are you actually questioning whether Thomas was the investigator? He claimed himself in the thread in the end - we have no reason to doubt he was the investigator. You were convinced at one point that he and I were scum together. Do you still think he would have lived through Night 3 if I were scum and he had just told me he was the investigator, and no-one else supposedly knew at that point? As I said before, I was doing my best to protect his identity - at his request and to protect a valuable PR - for as long as possible. Interestingly, you used this (the last sentence above) before as a reason for why Thomas and I were likely scum together. Maybe you should flip flop yet again and somehow try and spin this as a reason why we must have been on opposite teams? Can you please stop saying you blocked him like it was a fact? Everyone knows that no-one can verify it actually happened. No-one got me out of anything - I believe you blocked Patrick and I know I slept in my bunk. I have known Tim's role since the start of Day 3 (Patrick told me via PM, with Tim's knowledge). You were the one who chose to block him knowing what he was. And it looks like you are back to clutching at straws, pointing at everyone but yourself and your scum buddy (Joseph) and the one person no-one doubts is town (Patrick). Are you going to address the statement you made about Timothy being town before he was (all but) confirmed as such? I would also like to hear from @Joseph Finch about his statement that he thinks Louisa could be scum.

    Pirates Mafia - Day Seven

@Louisa Hammond , if I were scum (which I am most definitely not), then I would be godfather (because I was investigated town by Thomas). This means Joseph and Henry are cleared town. That leaves one of Patrick, Timothy or yourself as the fourth scum. Your view on Timothy (despite blocking him three nights in a row) was something along the lines of "Oh don't worry about Timothy - he's town" (let me know if you need me to find the exact quote). Incidentally, this statement was made by you before we got the results that made it clear that Timothy was unlikely to be scum (and only scum would've known for sure before that point). So, Louisa, if you are town, that leaves Patrick as my supposed scum buddy. I don't believe Patrick is scum and I doubt anyone else would entertain the idea either. @Joseph Finch, you said Louisa could be scum. If you truly believe this and you are town (or third party), you should also be indifferent between Louisa and I for the lynch today. If you don't actually believe she is scum, I would like to know who you think would be the other scum. If she is town, her statement about Timothy being town would be truthful (or at least not a lie and she presumably had a valid reason for making that statement). The only person left over would be Patrick, because you and Henry would be confirmed town. Again not likely. Just in case it's not clear, I will be voting Louisa today. I believe Patrick, Henry and Timothy to be town.
