Thanks for the props. I'm so new I had to look up NPU. What a nice compliment :]

The ornithopter is much faster, smaller and more maneuverable than the search and rescue helicopters currently in service with the City Coast Guard. It is a true VTOL aircraft--able to hover and even fly backwards. Obviously this craft is better suited to the "search" role of search and rescue. The design takes inspiration from the Apache helicopter with its big twin turbines and angular cockpit. Pontoons can be removed and landing legs are retractable. The legs are deliberately spindly looking to resemble a dragonfly.

I really like the Range Rover. Cool that there are seats inside. And the Ford van. Sweet!

I want to build a scene where these guys can race, but I can't get a feel for the style. Alls I can find is Coast Guard or industrial, like oil rig. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Octan Racing Two-Star Racing Vita Rush Racing

Wish they would reboot the SW Buildable Figures

I'm all over it. LMK what you come up with if you ever do it. The Figures for the most part are very affordable these days. -
Here's mine own version of Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) with IB-94 blaster, vibroblade, and whistling birds vambrace. https://flic.kr/p/2pgJGcb I found the coolest material to make capes. It's cloth for speaker grills--heavy and flexible so it drapes nicely--and the texture is perfect.

Thanks! I know, I have no hope, just wishes. You know though, if wishes were fishes we'd all be eating cioppino gihaal :) -
Thanks! I'll take a look.

Very nice. The interior is great. I go for the faithful models. You did a good job there.

So cool! And your artwork is great. Thanks for making the instructions free.

There are several good versions of the Magna out there. I wanted one that could both stand on its own and be posable. I immediately thought of Technics and decided some compromises in look and color were OK to achieve these other attributes. I tried many joints. The rotation disks were the only ones strong enough. One trick was making the "head" as light as possible. It's mostly air and a little weak. All-in-all, though, the whole model is definitely tough enough for posing. Flickr Free instructions

Thanks. Besides the scale I wanted to show the posability, which isn’t so common.

This is another quick project. I really like the Mars Mission. I hope that goes again some day when someone gets serious about a human expedition. I wanted a walker and started with the legs. If you motorized them they would actually walk. Not much more than a small cab could be supported and even that was hard enough to balance. Lucked out, the EVA ladder reached the ground perfectly and folds up underneath. I know it looks simple, but I spent quite awhile on the exterior details--getting every sensor I imagined would be useful. It felt especially clever to include a ground-penetrating radar (right-side picture) and an interferometer (left-side picture). Of course, the astronaut wouldn't open the cockpit except when docked at an airlock. It just didn't show well through the glass) The interior is jam-packed with EVA equipment--suit, gas, tools... And, of course, it being Mars Mission it had to have stickers. For the toolbox, since plain red is a lot more available Free downloads https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-158032/KennoMonkey/mars-at-st-all-terrain-survey-transport/#details

Thanks. She needed a clear view of where the thing was stepping. :]

In Star Wars the Clone Wars, a splinter group of Mandalorians called Death Watch join Darth Maul's Crimson Dawn and overthrow the government on Mandalore. These soldiers were called Super-Commandos. They are often seen carrying the GALAAR-15 carbine blaster. I wanted to make a Lego blaster that was more colorful than the standard black and gray and this figure to show it off.

Total Star Wars fan here. I've been collecting sets since I was a youngling. Recently started designing my own. Made my first post using my minifig scale Octuptarra Magna Tri-droid. (Still figuring out how to link to other posts.) I have pages on Bricksafe and Rebrickable. All my instructions are free (Creative Commons license). I do it for the views and "likes". Joining Eurobrick is a blatant attempt at self-promotion ;] Ha ha. Actually, until recently I foolishly assumed it was for Europeans only. (I'm an American retard). Otherwise, I would have joined years ago. This is awesome!

Walon Vau is a character in the Star Wars Republic Commando game. He also shows up in the excellent series of books by Karen Traviss. The Verpine sniper rifle is a projectile weapon. Light, expertly crafted, and deadly accurate, they are very expensive. I made this Lego Technics version along with some other Mandalorian weapons. Check it out here https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-163522/KennoMonkey/technic-mandalorian-weapons/#details There are only so many choices for Large Figure pieces. Sgt Vau is mostly repurposed from my Death Trooper. I wish I had the talent to draw the Mandalorian hex on his breast piece.

I wanted a way to show off some Technic weapons I made for the Mandalorian and Ahsoka shows. I started with Jyn Erso and added some eyeliner and lipstick. I'm pleased with how it turned it. She's sporting twin Westar-35s. Also, lightsaber on her hip. The instructions for the blasters, including Din Djarin's Amban rifle are on Rebrickable.
