Interesting rumour coming from a credible source, I hope it turns out to be true. If I recall correctly we knew about BB-8 and the Porg a lot earlier than usual when compared to the other sets but I don’t think it was this early in the year.
I probably worded my previous comment a bit poorly - what I meant was, if the rumour is the truth, then that suggests 75255 is one of the two October wave sets previously confirmed to be not related to Episode IX. Apologies.

The post suggests it is set number 75255. The poster is the same one who revealed Santa Porg and Jedi Exile Luke for the advent calendar, and the account has a previous history of leaking accurately. If it is true, could it be one of the two October wave sets that were declared to be not related to Episode IX?

Leia looks very nice. Another new two-sided face on a Rebel Fleet Trooper would be a great follow up if it's definitely Tantive IV.

Not particularly sold on the Endor set. Will need to see some clearer images of the speeder bike to decide if the set would be worth buying multiples of.

Would change a few figures around or reduce some (because it's Lego after all) but great job! I'll create my ideas when I have time. Get yourself working at Lego buddy
Thanks for the positive feedback. Enjoyed reading some of your ideas too.

Any chance that they are the Resistance Lifeboat and V-19 confirmed a while ago by Sir von Lego?

In theory, that must firmly rule out it being re-release.

Find your ideas intriguing!
Thank you. Appreciate it. Here are a few prequels/TCW set ideas. I am a lot more interested in the separatist and republic conflict than some of the Jedi/political aspects. Personally, I've written off the likes of the Nubian Royal Starship as happening any time soon, but nonetheless here are a few things I'd be pretty happy with.

As above, just a wish list. I like to try and assign set numbers to try and fit them into potential allocations.

Perhaps the absence of a Last Jedi Leia minifigure may have something to do with this potentially being the Raddus. I seem to recall a rumour from last which suggested she was coming in a lifeboat, which SvL confirmed, although that appears to have been put on hold. I suppose it could be argued that, while the codenames in some cases haven't meant much (ie the Solo set codenames), the ship does have the physical outline of a shark. While I am no expert on building techniques, I reckon the Raddus' shape would be easier to recreate in LEGO than the Home One for example, which has less angles which could be manipulated through traditional building techniques. Perhaps an iteration of the Raddus would be a lot like the Malevolence from 2012 in terms of building techniques. The described box dimensions and price point arguably suggest some sort of compatibility with a vehicle the size of the First Order Star Destroyer, and after all, fans have been wishing for a proper attempt Mon Calamari cruiser for a number of years.

I feel that the disappointment surrounding this wave of sets may subside when we learn more about the UCS sets and if they will be compensate for this wave.

Just now, Spongebob456 said:Ok thanks. I'm expecting around a £100 price tag in the UK then. Not too bad. Would like to see its size though.
£119.99. Same as Vader's Castle.

Stormtrooper Han is an interesting leak. Doesn't fit in with any of the April sets we know of so far. Therefore it must be 75260, a polybag or an exclusive set we don't know anything about yet.

2 minutes ago, Balrogofmorgoth said:There’s supposed to be a set similar to those coming out that isn’t part of anniversary line. It’s supposed to be one of those new “shooter game” type sets if I’m not mistaken.
That's 75238, "Action Attack Endor" or something to that effect.

15 minutes ago, Balrogofmorgoth said:I hope it’s from Episode VI. So far (assuming the Slave I is Jango’s) we have one from each episode, not counting the new ones, except for episode VI. I like the idea of that continuity.
If it were indeed to be, it would be a perfect opportunity to remake 7128 or 7139.

mini_legogo's Instagram story suggests we are getting some more Resistance leaks in the next ten minutes.

Just now, w219 said:I would have prefered a cloth kama instead of printing. Very disapointing. Apart from that, it looks good. So this snowtrooper will come in the upcoming T47 ?
Not yet known. Chances are, if 75259 is to be true to its roots with 7130, it will come with two pilots and a Hoth rebel trooper, and then Lando is the rumoured anniversary figure. I recall SVL mentioned a while ago that 75241 would come with three rebels and a snowtrooper, so that is one accounted for there. More than likely that one will also feature in 75239.

4 minutes ago, Praetorian_Guard said:I hope this announced "big reveal" in about 2 hours will be the reveal of the 20th Anniversary sets.
I think it makes sense. I seem to recall that the August 2018 wave were revealed around April/May time, and a good number of figures had leaked by that point, so perhaps they are revealing a few months in advance here as well given the volume of leaks that have been occurring recently.
-
Just to clarify, do we know yet for sure if we are expecting a 75260 at Easter, and if we are, is it in with the rest of the 20th Anniversary sets? Just seems a bit odd for it to be missed out.
-
On a separate note, if we know Force Friday is taking place the first week of October this year, and on the basis that it is therefore logical to assume that this will be when the first phase of Episode IX sets are released, do we have any knowledge yet if we are expecting a 'summer wave' at some point between the upcoming April wave, May 4th and Force Friday in October?

But I wait quite a while until the new ones go on sale. That could also be a reason why no one is really picking them up right off the gate. some of you seem to forget 5 years is actually a long enough time to cycle through some of the designs for the next gen of children.
I see the same attitude with Hasbro collectors, particularly with the Black Series and Vintage Collection lines.

1 hour ago, RODDY said:For the Endor playset, I hope we get an Endor Luke, we haven't got one in twenty years. A cross between the Speeder Bike set and Ewok Attack would be sweet.
I was personally expecting a modern iteration of each. Particularly given the piece counts of the five 20th Anniversary sets, and the long overdue Endor Luke and Biker Scout helmet mould update, without wishing to appear purely speculative, I wouldn't be at all surprised if one of those sets was something of a re-release of 7128 from 1999.

First Episode IX leak to surface is that we will be getting a new Falcon. It is rumoured to include an old Lando.
