The problem with sharing even a little bit of info here is that it inevitably leads to demands for more and more information, or worse, a slew of skeptical challenges to prove that your info is legit. Makes those with actual intel wary of posting here at all.

Nail on the head. As was said before, don't bite the hand that feeds you. I was simply alluding to the fact that something of interest would likely be out there in the near future. Who, or rather, what it is, I couldn't tell you. I may refrain from doing so again should I find myself in a similar position.

  2. The jet trooper just about confirms that the speeder set is the chase we briefly see in the Episode IX teaser, which would suggest it's also likely a set that will include Poe and Finn.

Is it possible that the AT-ST set in this coming wave will be from The Mandalorian? The two Mandalorian torso leaks so far seem to suggest that we are at least getting one set in the October wave (it would seem awfully early to get leaks of pieces as many as 4-5 months in advance of their anticipated release, if we worked on the assumption that they are in the Mandalorian battle pack due in the January 2020 wave) and now that the speeder set is more or less confirmed to be Episode IX, a Mandalorian set in the Force Friday III wave can realistically only be 75246 (the turret) or the scout walker. That is, unless, there is an additional set somewhere along the line between now and January.

  3. Don't quite understand the discontent around the Tantive IV. Aesthetically, it's a nice looking set. Seems to be a bit of upset regarding the interior being much like that of the 2009 variation. There is only so much they can do with the shape of the ship. How do we know that there won't be a small playset that replicates the famous corridor scene at some point in the future?

Oh dear! I must say, I have put off buying the imperial officer figs from 75159 because they are quite expensive and 'in case' a ISD was coming as this may have some equal figs, but either way my purse is not happy ?. Hope you don't get (excuse the pun) left out in the cold for your 'leak'.

I am certainly expecting there to be, if it is indeed coming as the 2HY UCS.

  5. On the subject of the rumoured Kylo's shuttle in the Force Friday III wave, Making Star Wars apparently have new information that Kylo has a new ship for Episode IX that is white with black and red markings. This could potentially be his shuttle, and therefore why we may be getting another one for this film as it could be a new ship design altogether and play a prominent role in the film. Naturally, this should be taken with a pinch of salt at this moment in time, but it could of course be important information going forward with regards to the rumoured Kylo's shuttle set. It could substantiate it to some degree.

Personally, I don't believe the episode IX set leaks, there is an in universe reason for why there aren't y-wings in the sequels (even though that could change), and the overall lack of anything remotely new makes me doubt it's real.

I think it is important to remember that the sequels do somewhat rely on playing on nostalgia through new variations of classic designs (ie TIEs, X-Wings, A-Wings, Mon Calamari cruisers, Nebulon frigates), as well as the actual position of the Resistance as of the end of The Last Jedi. The idea of them being reduced to using clapped-out old Y-Wings, or perhaps a successor of sorts to the BTL-A4 model from the OT (although, canonically, this was arguably the B-Wing), doesn't surprise me at all really considering what a desperate situation they're in. It's been made pretty clear that they're essentially guerrilla fighters at the time Episode IX will kick off. These factors combined lead me to put some faith in the leaks.

  7. Based on something being reported by Yakface.com about Episode IX code names, the rumoured 'Bruges' battle pack for the winter could in fact be for Episode IX rather than be Mimban-themed. They have published an article which details London, Oslo, Bruges, Limerick and Boston as Episode IX codenames across merchandise, whereas Huckleberry is the only one that seems concrete for The Mandalorian. This is of course working on the assumption that there is some legitimacy in that leaked list.

Another leak with price and part counts. I hope it to be fake because price per part is not ridiculous, it is even worse. 10c a part should be the maximum.

In addition to that, the new leak lists 75244 as a First Order Dropship and 75247 as a Resistance Y-Wing, yet they already have set allocations, in fact one has been retailing since the start of January. That would suggest that either the set numbers are confused, or they're illegitimate.

  9. Interesting that there doesn't appear to be (m)any Episode IX sets in this leaked wave, at least on the surface. In the wave that followed Force Friday II, there was two Episode VIII themed microfighters, two microfighter dual packs, two battle packs and a small playset and two larger playsets. I would have expected Episode IX to still be getting a push with the merchandise with the wave scheduled for release in such proximity to that of the film.
