  1. Nail on the head. As was said before, don't bite the hand that feeds you. I was simply alluding to the fact that something of interest would likely be out there in the near future. Who, or rather, what it is, I couldn't tell you. I may refrain from doing so again should I find myself in a similar position.
  2. I have seen an image of another TROS character - it does not seem she has leaked yet but I imagine she will be on her way in the next day or two - she looks excellent.
  3. The jet trooper just about confirms that the speeder set is the chase we briefly see in the Episode IX teaser, which would suggest it's also likely a set that will include Poe and Finn. Is it possible that the AT-ST set in this coming wave will be from The Mandalorian? The two Mandalorian torso leaks so far seem to suggest that we are at least getting one set in the October wave (it would seem awfully early to get leaks of pieces as many as 4-5 months in advance of their anticipated release, if we worked on the assumption that they are in the Mandalorian battle pack due in the January 2020 wave) and now that the speeder set is more or less confirmed to be Episode IX, a Mandalorian set in the Force Friday III wave can realistically only be 75246 (the turret) or the scout walker. That is, unless, there is an additional set somewhere along the line between now and January. https://yakfaceforums.com/main/2019/07/24/rumor-report-a-new-old-imperial-walker-in-the-mandalorian/
  4. Umpass-stay, the drummer in Max Rebo's band.
  5. Regarding the '16+' designated to 75276 and 75277, it would be logical to assume that these would be Jedi: Fallen Order-related considering the previous age restrictions of 16 placed on Battlefront and Battlefront II. The Stinger Mantis would be an obvious choice for one set of their piece count range (600-650 pieces).
  6. Pryde's torso has leaked, more or less confirms him for the first wave of sets given the head that emerged not so long ago. My money would be on him being in Kylo's shuttle, 75256. A suspected Mandalorian torso has also surfaced.
  7. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one of these 2020 sets with a reasonably large piece count was the Razorcrest from The Mandalorian, but that's just guesswork on my part.
  8. Dryden Vos or L3-37 in 2020?
  9. Don't quite understand the discontent around the Tantive IV. Aesthetically, it's a nice looking set. Seems to be a bit of upset regarding the interior being much like that of the 2009 variation. There is only so much they can do with the shape of the ship. How do we know that there won't be a small playset that replicates the famous corridor scene at some point in the future?
  10. Have just had a look at some past 1HY reveal dates. 75181 was first seen on 30th March 2018, and 75144 was revealed on 23rd March 2017. We must surely be a short time away from a first glimpse at 75244.
  11. Is there any news yet on whether or not there are any retailer exclusives for this year? Sets that are along the lines of the Hoth Medical Chamber from last year for example.
  12. Rumour on Instagram has it that the May 4th polybag will be a 20th Anniversary-related minifigure. Just hope it's something worthwhile.
  13. Is there any indication yet as to what 75246 will be? Its piece count (159) seems quite low - lower in fact than the vignette in the Rey vs Kylo set. Could it be a Juniors set, or perhaps just a small vehicle-based set such as Luke's Landspeeder?
  14. An Instagram post has just been created with alleged leaked box art for the Tantive IV. It looks fake.
  15. I am certainly expecting there to be, if it is indeed coming as the 2HY UCS.
  16. The leaker 'childish_landino_chronicles' on Instagram is reporting a Rebel Fleet Trooper and Chewbacca to be in this year's advent calendar in addition to the Santa Porg, Jedi Exile Luke, Cloud Car Pilot and First Order Stormtrooper reported earlier.
  17. On the subject of the rumoured Kylo's shuttle in the Force Friday III wave, Making Star Wars apparently have new information that Kylo has a new ship for Episode IX that is white with black and red markings. This could potentially be his shuttle, and therefore why we may be getting another one for this film as it could be a new ship design altogether and play a prominent role in the film. Naturally, this should be taken with a pinch of salt at this moment in time, but it could of course be important information going forward with regards to the rumoured Kylo's shuttle set. It could substantiate it to some degree. Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/BuOu2iPgLMa/
  18. I think it is important to remember that the sequels do somewhat rely on playing on nostalgia through new variations of classic designs (ie TIEs, X-Wings, A-Wings, Mon Calamari cruisers, Nebulon frigates), as well as the actual position of the Resistance as of the end of The Last Jedi. The idea of them being reduced to using clapped-out old Y-Wings, or perhaps a successor of sorts to the BTL-A4 model from the OT (although, canonically, this was arguably the B-Wing), doesn't surprise me at all really considering what a desperate situation they're in. It's been made pretty clear that they're essentially guerrilla fighters at the time Episode IX will kick off. These factors combined lead me to put some faith in the leaks.
  19. Exact same piece count as 75104 was - possible that this one could be Kylo's Shuttle if the rumour is true, and 75257 could therefore be the Falcon if, as in the past, the size/price of the sets rise with the set numbers.
  20. Based on something being reported by Yakface.com about Episode IX code names, the rumoured 'Bruges' battle pack for the winter could in fact be for Episode IX rather than be Mimban-themed. They have published an article which details London, Oslo, Bruges, Limerick and Boston as Episode IX codenames across merchandise, whereas Huckleberry is the only one that seems concrete for The Mandalorian. This is of course working on the assumption that there is some legitimacy in that leaked list.
  21. It would only require the recycling of the Imperial Navy Officer from 75159. Even though he is a stormtrooper officer.
  22. In addition to that, the new leak lists 75244 as a First Order Dropship and 75247 as a Resistance Y-Wing, yet they already have set allocations, in fact one has been retailing since the start of January. That would suggest that either the set numbers are confused, or they're illegitimate.
  23. Interesting that there doesn't appear to be (m)any Episode IX sets in this leaked wave, at least on the surface. In the wave that followed Force Friday II, there was two Episode VIII themed microfighters, two microfighter dual packs, two battle packs and a small playset and two larger playsets. I would have expected Episode IX to still be getting a push with the merchandise with the wave scheduled for release in such proximity to that of the film.
  24. Quite like the sound of Obi Wan's homestead, always wondered when we would eventually get it in an official set. The brick built microfighter set with the Bantha also sounds promising. Imagine it will go nicely with the Dewback. Holding out hope that the battle packs will also be good.
