I do understand the sentiment express here, and my lack of posting elsewhere is not meant as a slight to Eurobricks. If I had the time, I would explore the site and post more. But as it is, I have a hard enough time staying on top of my orders and have not had much time left over lately for building or community participation. Hopefully this will change after the christmas season and I will be able to explore Eurobricks in more detail. Until then i'll just checkout the posts of the new sets! :-D Troy

The point of doing my sales like this is to generate a bunch of orders that are easy to pack. If I were to do it your way I would still run the risk of getting orders with 50 lots that are a pain to pack. This also encourages buyers to buy entire lots, which is also easier to pack. Alternatively, I do send out tiered coupons that range from 10% off to 25% off depending on how much you buy, and are good for any number of items. These generally go out to existing customers though, as sending out coupons to random people generally does not go well. The sale is going well, with over 20 orders so far, and many hundreds of dollars in savings for buyers! Don't forget to use the "code" below so that I know to apply the discount to your order. If you are interested in more than one high value lot I may be convinced to let you have more than one lot, it never hurts to ask. Just keep in mind that the purpose of the sale it to generate orders that are EASY TO PACK, so single digit lot numbers and totals in the hundreds of dollars are what is likely to get approved. Where i fit in was clearly stated in my initial post to Lugnet and Classic-Castle. When the site went down, I wanted to see what I could do to help get it back. To this end I contacted people that I know that could help to that end. So I am simply a guy that wanted to help out. I was then hit with the negativity generated initially on Lugnet and on Classic-Castle. This got me to thinking "What is the point of bringing it back, if all that you get are a bunch of people attacking you"? This is what directly lead to my posts. I do understand that this has been poorly handled. And I do understand that people are rightiously upset about it. I too am upset about it. I just think it would be more constructive to discuss how to fix the problem than to whine and complain about it. There is nothing dire about what I know. What I know is just incomplete and I do not want to make any assumptions. If I knew the full story, I would share, but I don't so I will refrain. It is people making assumptions, mostly negative, that have led to these arguments. What I do know is that the images are all intact, and that is not merely because I saw them when the https backdoor was working. I am also confident that Kevin is doing his best so that nobody will lose any of their data. I am also confident that if Kevin does not bring the site back completely, there are others willing to do so. I also know that those simply lamenting the loss of the site are not whiney vultures. That statement, like all inflmatory statements, has taken on a life of its own. It was not targetted at everyone, but rather to a very specific subset that went beyond lamenting to personal attacks on BrickShelf and Kevin. Troy
