No, saying that The Mandalorian is more beloved than the movie which literally started this entire franchise and holds up to this day, especially when part of the charm of the show is how it so clearly loves the OT and works to capture the feeling of being a kid imagining adventures when it came out is absolutely ridiculous and I won't stand for it

I can't believe that the Gauntlet fighter is the same price as the ATST Raider. That thing really was overpriced, huh? The only Clone Wars episodes that I've enjoyed more than Bad Batch so far are the Umbaran arc, the Fives on the run arc, the Ahsoka on the run arc and the Siege of Mandalore/Aftermath arc. Bad Batch is much more consistent in its quality than Clone Wars, with characters I like a lot more (Omega > Ahsoka, fight me). The writing is a lot less awkward and stilted, the animation is outstanding. It's a combination of the Rebels family dynamic and the Clone Wars's darkness, and it's brilliant so far. Clone Wars was russian roulette whether the episode was going to be good or not, and on watching both back to back I'd honestly say that although Rebels only reaches the heights of Clone Wars once (Maul and Obi Wan's rematch), it's a better show overall (so I'm salty that we barely got any sets based on it).

Lego marvel designers are physically incapable of making a mech suit that is not oversized (outside of those £10 sets)

She's a main character in Book of Boba Fett and a recurring villain in Bad Batch. The figure never appearing in another set would be more insane than a Bo Katan figure not appearing until now. The helmet though, I'd keep an eye on that. It's way less likely to reappear since she's not always wearing it, just like Star Lord's helmet. I'd get Slave One if you don't own the ship already, otherwise just wait for Book of Boba Fett sets.

It seriously looks like a coast guard torso with green arms to me. Awful first advent calendar. Hopefully, when it doesn't sell well, Lego doesn't take it to mean that we don't want Marvel advent calendars.

I really wouldn't be surprised if the torso appeared again, in city or something. I don't think it's a mistake that there's no indicating skin tones on it. Why does Korg look like a 50 year old man with a skin condition

They mentioned that battle packs weren't dead, am I crazy? Like a Praetorian Guard situation? Maybe throwing in an officer to represent the bridge crew on the Light Cruiser? Why do a new helmet print and a jetpack that actually looks like his jetpack when you could just.. not? Probably a cost/limited spaces for new parts thing, but come on. They didn't even make his armour and helmet the same colour.

Now I feel like an idiot for getting Trouble on Tattooine. At least I didn't get the ~£120 Slave One, because I'm absolutely getting this one, hilariously tiny cockpit and all. Makes sense that Boba has arm printing given that he's getting his own show. Nice that the Gauntlet actually looks good this time. Still a day one buy for me, but I'm weirded out by how lacking it seems in the figure department. I thought maybe the initial leak was wrong (like they were with Slave One...), but no. There should be at least one Maultrooper for Gar Saxon to boss around, surely. MandR was right when he described the sets, Maul's prison does suck. Probably just end up bricklinking the figure. I don't agree with him about the Trexler though, looks perfectly fine to me. Maybe a bit studded given how smooth the vehicle is in universe but I don't really care. Can't believe they didn't cheap out and actually gave the Darktrooper and Fennec new helmet molds, though in Fennec's case it's probably for the same reason as Boba. Can't believe that despite that, the Darksaber is yet again just a black bar. The Cara Dune figure is still bad and still looks nothing like the actress, not that I'm a fan of either of those people but come on, it's literally the last opportunity they have. I will never be able to afford this set given all the other stuff coming out this autumn, but maybe if I can pay off a large chunk of the cost due to Cara Dune staying artificially inflated and people not realising that Fennec will definitely appear in a cheaper set down the line then I may consider it.

Given how many missing FatWS figs there are that wouldn't even require too many new prints, I hope it's based on that. Mainly this over WandaVision because of Zemo and John Walker.

The new Iron Monger is great, so balance is maintained by having... whatever that thing is be absolutely awful. The car it transforms into looks like something a 10 year old put together from the pieces in a Monkie kid set. And that helmet really just does not work. The minifigures are nice and all but it just baffles me how they created a new head mold that's perfect for the Watcher and then didn't use it on him?

I'm kinda worried that Omega will use the new Jurassic World Sammy head instead of getting a new face print. Then again this is Star Wars and not Marvel so they're less likely to cheap out there Oh my god, just saw the other pictures of the meditation chamber on Lego.com. Yeah, bad set. Way too gappy and WAY too expensive. Like the hologram though
