I don't see how a comic themed series would be a bad thing. Official Daredevil and Moon Knight figs 8 years later would be a dream come true. The way I see it, a comic based series or a MCU series would both be stellar. The only way it would be disappointing to me would be if it's mostly characters we already have. My hunch is that it will be a MCU series with a Disney+ leaning, allowing for B&W Wanda and Vis, campaign button Loki, purple mask Zemo, and plenty of other amazing possibilities.

Going down the list it's just- 0 0 0 0 How sad... I was looking forward to getting a golden retriever.

Imagine if the sets just started showing up in stores. I do wonder what release they settled on if it's too late to cancel the advertisements. These are much more interesting than the January wave to me at least.

Wow so glad to have positive things to say about Marvel sets. These are very different. Even though the Deviants make up most of the builds, they provide a nice contrast from increasingly dull vehicles. It remains to be seen how memorable they are in the film, but they are certainly vibrant and interesting in the sets! To me, the Deviant Ambush looks like the most interesting creature. As others have said, the Celestial is definitely the standout, and it's very nice to have a character as a flagship set, especially one who's set to be pretty iconic. It's very neat how the dorito ship folds out, and again the vibrant colors and unusual parts make it much more satisfying than the typical Lego Marvel selection. The reused faces are disappointing, especially when they come from fellow Marvel characters, but the overhaul in other aspects helps me overlook it. I hope the movie is as unique as the sets, because they certainly renew my hope for the line.

But guys, if they had included Bagman, we couldn't have gotten another Iron Spider repeat! Surely they'll release a set this year with Daredevil, the Red Snapper Armor, and Bombastic Bagman as a culmination of all the sticker teases, right? Right?

In quite the surprise this afternoon, my Kohl's had the Mando set! I picked it up obviously, and I'm very excited to put it together this afternoon. Glad to have it in time for the finale. @Falconfan1414 if you're still looking for 2021 barcodes, I dm'd you the Mando one on instagram.

Aha, if that's the case, that makes complete sense. I don't know why anyone would expect sets to come out before the shows, that seems to go completely against the merchandising route they're taking. I would much prefer them to come out afterwards anyways, it would definitely benefit accuracy. As for the CMF, I don't entirely agree with them being hard to find, at least where I live, every series seems to be available in abundance. Maybe that's not the case everywhere, but I still think it's a good idea down the line.

I watched a YouTube video by Captain Midnight where he outlined this exact plot. Good stuff. I wouldn't trust Grace Randolph's word very much honestly. She basically just capitalizes on rumors that other people have already come up with to varying reliability, and now she's even suggesting Deadpool will be in Spidey 3. Daniel RPK and Charles Murphy are a little more consistent. I honestly don't know if they would bring the black suit back, but if you guys really are interested in amazing Raimi figs, check out Phoenix Customs. Don't think they're still available, but he did two perfect Raimi suits. Honestly, I have a bad feeling that if the cameos are a limited part of the third act, they might not be included in sets. If all of it is true, I would really love the updated suits like you guys said, but just don't get your hopes too high. My dream would be a lawyer Matt Murdock fig if his inclusion is true. I guess we'll just have to wait for more info for accurate speculation.

I will keep the pessimism to a minimum, but just remember that we would have said the same about Endgame. I am cautiously optimistic though. The minifigure potential is outstanding.

Yeah, I totally agree. Anything that will prevent another Endgame situation. The best MCU sets have definitely been the accurate ones.

I agree. The D+ sets are delayed to prevent spoilers in merch, and even after the child was revealed, it took Lego 9 months to release the fig. I'm sure we will get a set or more eventually, but like Falconfan said, it will take a lot of patience.

I believe he was saying the cheeks aren't printed, which if so, is absolutely correct. The only printed element is the visor. The helmet is exactly the same as the other Mando one except it's pearl silver. Edit: I stand corrected, under light they are indeed printed. Crazy that I never noticed.

The Marvel stuff warrants it most of the time. This set however is very good and exciting.

I am actually surprised that the Mando fig turned out so well. Pretty much the best it could possibly be without new molds. For a set with such an amazing fig, the Child, and some really neat builds, I actually think it's a pretty fair price. At least a better value for me than many recent SW sets. These are the kind of sets I like to see.

I feel like all I do in this forum is complain, but indulge me once again. The only, and I mean only, things worth noting to me in this wave are Miles and Robbie. The Hell Charger had been done better even in Lego's own Speed Champions sets. I am absolutely sick of the trend of useless vehicles with marginally different versions of villains and maybe a single new character per wave. I understand it's a children's toy, but in the past, Lego has walked the fine line of making excellent sets that appeal to kids as well as AFOLs. Just compare this to the Harry Potter sets. They get every location, character, and idea from the book done perfectly over and over again, and we can't even get Daredevil in a Spider-Man set. Sorry for the pessimism, it's just genuinely disappointing to me.

It is rather unfortunate we got such a heavy focus on sets for such a blaise game. Here's hoping 2021 is a step up. That makes sense, and I suppose that is why the Mandalorian sets have released at such a staggered pace. I would rather they just wait and release an accurate set after the different series have released.

For all of my pessimistic droning, the figure does look better in the other pictures. Still could be improved, but I am glad he's being made. I bet he'll look pretty good with the 2018 Speed Champions charger I was talking about. Side note, remember when we thought Quake might come in the set? That was very hopeful to think.

Yes, I mean Lego Marvel! I guess I mean that Infinity War was the last wave I would consider a strong wave. 2016 was most likely the peak as you said.

So when do we think Marvel peaked? My vote is 2018. I feel like I took the Infinity War wave for granted...

I think we should all commit to buying the 2018 Speed Champions Dodge charger instead as not to support such a horrendous set. It's a better version of the car, and you could just get the Robbie torso off of Bricklink. This head can replace the knockoff...
