  1. Which I take offense to. I was at least the second person (Liz post #4, Me post #18) to mention it and was actually trying to wrap my head around what types of PR's or NA's could have been used to get the results we did. I wasn't expecting someone to jump up and claim or anything. Tristan: I never said I was only willing to answer via PM. Geez, should have known better than to even put the word out there.
  2. If I'm suspicious of someone and I don't voice it, it's because my suspicion is nebulous and I'm waiting for more information. Whether or not I choose to be cautious with my mud slinging is my choice. How else would you like me to say that I'm town and lynching me only puts the town further behind?
  3. Everyone has suspicions. It's the name of the game. Doesn't mean we need to reveal them. Did you miss the "or otherwise" part? Ask your questions here too, I'll answer them. Fine by me if I'm at the top. Won't do you much good.
  4. Okay, I've finally made it to the party for today. Seems I've got some people gunning for me. I can live with that. I'm obviously not as active as some others and apparently you're not pleased with my style. What can I say? I voted for Esther because I didn't like her. Both days. Period. End of story. As much shenanigans as she was going through led me to believe she was up to something. I wasn't 100% confident that she was scum (were any of us?), but felt there was too much there to ignore. I don't have to reveal my suspicions on someone else's timetable. I read, I follow along, I learn what I can. If there is a question that I feel needs to be asked, I ask it. If I can get my answers by reading through what has already been said, I do. As for what has happened to Zachary, I don't know. I've not run across any of these types of characters (Poisoner, Day Vig) in my travels, so I'll defer to some more experienced folk. You all wanted to know who my next suspicion was after Esther? Well, it was Beatrice. All of her posts from the last 2 days were fluff at best and sometimes insultingly so. Ironically, that is what you all think of mine, so... Vote: Beatrice Kingsley (Bob) There, it's not a late vote. Does that make you all happy? Oh, I forgot to add I'm more than willing to answer any questions anybody has via PM or otherwise. Just ask.
  5. Well, I waited to see what else might come up, and there's really not much. A few bits here and there, but nothing that feels like a solid lead for me. My vote for Esther from Day 1 still stands. I was going to vote for my next suspicion (considering we already have an overwhelming majority), but that doesn't feel right. Vote: Esther (Esurient) Even if her claim is true (hard to believe at this point), we don't need that type of circus taking us away from the task at hand. A true townie wouldn't have pulled those shenanigans.
  6. I say go ahead and claim. As others have stated, you've already claimed a PR. Doesn't matter which, the damage is done. I'll hold off voting for you until this whole supposed PR thing comes to an end, but barring any other developments my next closest suspicions are quite a bit behind you. Be mindful though. If you are town you will quickly (and I mean quickly) wrap this up. You are doing us no favors by pulling this crap. The longer you play it out the worse you look!
  7. I think Drake's being killed was metagaming. There's a little bit there (as mentioned above), but not a whole lot. To be honest, I expected possibly 2 more deaths last night. As described, Drake's death looks coyote. There could have been a SK or town Vig kill as well, so I'm curious what NA's revealed? I'm curious as to why Esther managed to get away untouched. Blocker, Protector, something? Moving on, anybody have any suggestions as to where we start today?
  8. Ok, I need to get my vote in now because I don't know that I'll be able to be back before the end of the day, so... Vote: Esther Thompson (Esurient) Of my three biggest suspicions, she's the one that sits worst with me.
  9. I agree with what's been said above on this, but I'm starting to think it might be worth the risk. 1. If there isn't a real miller, they can make the claim and try to steer the night in the direction they wish. If it works, great. If it doesn't, probably no real harm. We'll be suspicious of Sheridan even if we don't role-cop (or whatever else) her tonight. 2. If there is a real miller, do they really want to come forward? I'm still new to this but just because someone claims doesn't mean you have to counter-claim? So that may buy them a few days as the real miller decides that it's worth revealing/calling out or the town figures out if there is a real miller. Lastly, as I re-read through today's activities I have to ask: Sheridan, you've had plenty to say for sure today, but it's all been based on your immediate claim and subsequent defense/impact of your actions. You've voted for Caleb because he's been the most dogged in questioning you. Through all of this though, I haven't seen your thoughts or impressions on any of the other action that has happened with other players. You claimed, defended, but haven't done much past that. I'm not liking that. What do you think about everything else?
  10. This extremely long post and willingness to accuse anyone for anything is why I have a problem with Esther. The other side of a typical 'fluff' post is the extremely lengthy multi-quoted post that is supposed to be full of help, but really only helps to confuse. Her PR claim makes me unsure to say she's scum, but I don't like it. Seems to me that if it's something your confident in and think it's the best course of action you stick to your guns and try your damndest to get the rest of us to see your logic. Admitting your wishy-washy doesn't seem to be a wise move. Even if your vote doesn't lead or help to get the lynch you want, it's not discounted. Standing to your beliefs and holding your ground will go along way in the coming days to establishing your credibility. I haven't voted yet because I'm not confident in my selection. I'm willing to wait to see what plays out and see where we are when the time is a bit closer. That being said, it takes all types of players to play these games and I'm glad that there are others who are wiling to fling accusations wildly, if for no other reason than to start the dialog. I see the good in that, I'm just not comfortable playing in that manner. Liz, I was trying to wrap my brain around the possibility of something just like this, and think it has merit. At least to my novice brain. It takes a few days for the town to get a few people together with enough trust to start working in a cohesive manner, while the scum (or at least a good scum team) has already been working as a cohesive unit from before the first day started. Adding these claims on day one has almost certainly set the course for how the NA's from the town side will play out (within reason of course). Would it be better to steer the NA's in a direction you want, at the risk of losing a goon, but almost guaranteeing that night one plays out the way you anticipate? Not sure of the real risk, but being able to manipulate right from the get go has got to be desirable, right?
  11. Well, I've been trying catch up on what's going on, but I haven't managed to read through everything. I didn't want anyone thinking that my popping in and out without saying something was scummy, so I am taking a proactive approach. I'm leaving for a meeting about another awesome adventure (I'm thinking pigs and cornfields), so I can't finish reading and respond to everything. However, I will be back in just a few hours and I will post my thoughts.
  12. Well, guess this gal knows better than to make a morning of jumping off of barns with umbrellas. It was a hootin' good time y'all but it looks like this was where the action was. This was honestly my first reaction to this claim. As I think to the validity of the claim though, I just end up taking a stroll down 'WIFOM' lane. It could absolutely play out both ways and the gutsiness of being claimed in the first post certainly has given us a lot to talk about. I'm going to give the dead horse a rest though and look elsewhere for a while. I think it's important to keep up communication on the first day without focusing and accusing on every piece of fluff. Question it sure, but don't be afraid to leave it. Some roleplaying is part of the fun. Esther(Esurient), surely you can't try to read something into every comment made?
  13. Just got done havin' a foot race with a longhorn. He beat me by a nose ring. Anyways, I'm here so let's get to rustlin' us up some red coyote gang. We don't need their kind here.
  14. 1. Aperture Academy, Harriet Slutter, and Mafia Mafia 2. Shouldn't be a problem. 3. I think my favorite role so far has been as a town investigator (or JOAT w/investigator ability). I'm really enjoying the Mafia experience here on EB and look forward to additional opportunities to hone my skill.
  15. It's been a little over two year since this post, and now I'm a bit over 100,000 (still not including PAB). I'm definitely finding it harder to keep everything sorted and in good order, but I'm nowhere near done. I have the hardest time spending money on stuff to help with organization though, because that's money taken away from more LEGO.
