  1. Venator looks fantastic, it's perfectly built. Don't care about the set at all, but it's easily one of the best Star Wars UCS.

Yeah. Provided that the description is real.

The same rumour says that it's the Black & Gold suit, which would be just a repeat from the weird Drone vs. Vulture set.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

The price is not wrong. And you can't confuse the amount of minifigures, it's not like the images are mashed together. But since the images were most likely just prelims, I could see them reducing the number of minifigures for the final product tho. I hope it's not the case. I hope you're right about Wu, maybe the first Season ends with Lloyd becoming a Sensei. Curious about Garmadon tho, they'll probably have to make a new version of him, and I don't know why they'd do it if he didn't have some sort of role in the series. Unless the Dragonstone Temple itself makes the Ninja see visions / flashbacks.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

That's actually a lot of sets, never noticed that the Winter wave is only one set short of the first Dragons Rising wave, which had fourteen set (we can count the D2C as an exception, which would mean only thirteen sets). The Summer one, on the other hand, only has six sets. The Dragon Gliders sound good, especially since they include a villain (which has happened only once with 10€ gimmick sets). Most of the mechs sound rather uninspiring, since three of them include a Ninja and a Wolf Warrior. Jay's Mech, on the other hand, sounds incredible. Four minifigures in a 10€ set?! With an exclusive hooded villain and Lloyd in the Master robe, who only appears in another 120€ set? Wow. Buildable Riyu sounds cute, called it that he'll be bigger in the next Season. The Dragonstone Temple is the most intriguing set of this wave. Both Wu and Garmadon return? Honestly, I kinda hoped we moved on. I hope they won't have a recurring role the next Seasons. What bugs me most about this wave is that seven (more than half) of the sets have the same minifigure selection — a Ninja and a Wolf Warrior. I hope the Warriors aren't all the same and have some variants.

    Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

If they could do Spider-Verse sets, they would've done them by now. It's obvious they aren't a thing because of the Sony-Marvel-Disney deals. The thing is, the ship was never going to sail, because the set include Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield variants along with their villains. You could do that set ten years from now, and people would still buy it just because of the minifigures. And with the next set including (according to rumours) Lizard, another Electro, and a buildable Sandman, it's also gonna be highly desirable.

    Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Well, that's quite an intriguing wave. What surprises me is that you'd think that a theme with such creative restrictions (only eight movies) would be getting less sets in its seventh year, but it's actually the year with the biggest number of sets. They have to sell extremely well. Ford Anglia is okay, especially since it'll be four years since we got the last one. Privet Drive with Hedwig is actually a really cute idea for 20€ — a small buildable object you can display anywhere. Hogwarts Expansions sound nice, but not particularly interesting. Hagrid's Hut is the clear standout here. I hope it's fully enclosed at that price point. Sorting Hat is such a weird idea, I'm really interested in seeing videos of how it works. If the creatures in the Forbidden Forest set are moulded (which it seems they are), then it's gonna be a really good set.

    LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

The original image of the Tremortusk on Instagram is no longer there. No idea if the person who posted it deleted the image, or if it was taken down. Now, take it with a huge grain of salt, but the website that just posted the 2024 Ninjago and Harry Potter set descriptions heard rumours that the Tremortusk is coming — 76985 with 4027 pieces for around 320€ and one minifigure. Furthermore, they heard about even more sets — 76986, 76987, and 76988. The first one would be based on Aloy's first flight, while the second would incorporate one of the Gauntlet Runs. Releasing other sets to accompany a 320€ one would make a lot of sense. I wouldn't get too excited until we hear more from reliable, established sources or retailers tho.
  9. The Battle Pack sounds fantastic, seems to be really packed, and the price isn't too bad either. Also, apparently, the Tantive IV Boarding set comes with Darth Vader, two Stormtroopers, and two Rebel Fleet Troopers.

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

Yeah, this wave is pretty weird. Kai gets four (!) sets, Arin gets two, some of the other Ninja get one, while the remaining (Lloyd and Zane) get none. Lloyd, the main Ninjago character, gets no dedicated sets? When has that happened before? Even Cole, the most omitted Ninja, got a set.

    Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I'm pretty sure we know about all the sets for January. We would've heard by now if there were more coming.
  12. They'd need much more time than that. My point is, it's a single set tied to a show. They don't need another set in that wave. If there was no Skeleton Crew, we probably wouldn't get that it at all, and the Winter wave would look literally the same. Yeah, but there's a huge difference between a wave tied to a movie, and a wave tied to nothing. LEGO Star Wars hinges on the Summer wave of sets, which is the biggest one. They couldn't just delay all of the sets because of some codes. Sets or waves based on movies are a whole other thing. They're usually just an addition to the regular wave of sets. If a movie or a series is delayed, it's a smart move to delay the merchandise.
  13. That's not even remotely the same case tho. Delaying a whole wave of sets because they have a printed code on them is not comparable to delaying a single set.

No (I don't have that set).

Glad they're remaking Hagrid's Hut; it was long due. The intetersting thing is that it's gonna be either 38€ (350 pcs) or 75€ (896 pcs). Nothing in-between.

    Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

So apparently 10794 (the 55€ Spidey and His Amazing Friends set) comes with both Iron Man and Arnim Zola. Strange set for our first Arnin Zola minifig, but I won't complain
  17. Babu Frik is not a want, he's a need. I'd actually buy a buildable Babu Frik too.
  18. Yeah, it's frustrating. I really don't like this movie, but it still has some beautiful sequences worthy of LEGO sets. Kijmi duel comes to mind, it would make for a great small duel set, or even a diorama. I really want more The Last Jedi sets too. Unfortunately I missed out on the Snoke's Throne Room set.
  19. It's pretty frustrating that LEGO has been completely ignoring the sequels for the past few years. It wouldn't hurt them to make a set or two baser on them.
  20. Found Emperor's Throne Room at a 40% discount. Been hunting for it since it's released, since the official price is definitely too high. Fantastic set, always wanted to have one based on that scene (since it's my favourite one in all of the Star Wars movies), but wasn't a huge fan of the previous set and its re-released copy. Really impressively built, the window is incredible. Lots of unconventional techniques used, which resulted in an awesome building experience. The throne itself is so good too. Really hope they continue with dioramas for years to come. The fact that we might be getting only one (and possibly microscale at that) next year is worrying.

A Venom Street Bike?! NOW we're talking. That's not only what we want right now — it's what we NEED right now.

Exactly. Something like this would contemplate the set, but wouldn’t be essential to it.

    Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

The minifigure itself is exclusive to the set tho. My point is, the Marvel set is a mess that doesn't fit with anything, and nor does it work on its own. It feels like they looked at the minifigures / pieces left over in their storage and made a set from whatever was left there.

But Black Panther and the Outsiders haven't even ever been near the Avengers Tower. Not to mention that it had already been sold before Black Panther got his movie or the Outriders appeared in Infinity War.

That mentality is really annoying. Just because something is added for free doesn't mean we can't complain about it? For example, Gringotts D2C has a fantastic GWP — small, relevant to the set, with an exclusive minifigure. Meanwhile Marvel just put together a bunch of random garbage that has nothing to do with anything.
