It's always amazing to me how much AFOLS hate Lego's style. Simplified is kind of the defining trait of the design. Obviously this is real, just like the Black Panther ones that "looked fake" were.

Indeed. But that's the use of this forum I think to tackle about the things we like and don't. Thanos is okay, not that really bad. But personally hope that this is not the only Thanos fig that we are going to get for Infinity War wave.

  2. I'm up for the idea that we are going to get a variant of Thanos in other set/ Really, the only problem is the helm because it looks like a one piece with his armor so I'm okay with that Thanos figure.

At the moment Cull Obsidian/Black Dwarf and the new Spider-man suit seems the only hope for that - which is a bit unfortunate.

My money is on Spidey, they will do justice with that Iron Spider armor.

Hello everyone, I have been following the forum for many years, but I have decided to write just now. I collect Super Heroes, and I'm very excited about the Infinity War line, but now a lot less. The recent leaks do not meet my expectations! We're talking about INFINITY WAR, the most anticipated movie of the year, the 10-year climax of Marvel Studios, why is Lego so lazy ??? Thanos is the biggest disappointment since 2012. I had high expectations, but I would have been satisfied with a COHERENT figure with the character of the film. Why that damn helmet ??? Why recycle the bigfig of comics ??? After seeing Gladiator Hulk, I was sure Thanos would be a success. But no ... I'm really disappointed! My last hope is that it is custom, like the Spiderman minifigure published by Mario, but in this the press seems legitimate. It's so sad...

    Perchè Lego? PERCHÈ??? ?

First of all welcome to EB, You'll enjoy posting and interacting with other members here.

As for the big figure, I mentioned above that the only gripe I have is the freaking Helmet, it looks dumb sitting in his head with flat gold and doesn't have any printing or design, so the best thing that could happen is having a second thanos big fig but I doubt it will be an easy purchase... **D2C ehem ehem**

  4. It looks real for me... the only thing that bugs me is the golden helmet that doesn't appear in any trailers/ official design art/ poster etc etc. The design on the out fit is pretty accurate if you compare it to the poster, lines on the chin and the face print convince me that it's actually a legit big figure. I wish that this is not the only Thanos we are getting.

+ Looking at the new TLBM series 2 figs, general Zod arm printing could be used for Black Panther fig(s)

I can't believe we are already getting Infinity War leaks.  We've skipped right past the the grainy photo stage it would seem.

I think Proxima is excellent the way she is.  I assume it will be a double-sided head.

Yup, she has smirking face print which is alot cooler than the first one.

you can see it on IG

  6. Proxima's face print is awesome! Cool that we are getting dual face print.

hopefully the Hulkbuster suit use mixels joins rather than the bigger ones, I'm excited to make another MOC and make it minifig scale.

Obsidian cull should be a big fig he's bigger than Thanos which it's okay if they go for another big fig or a new mold simillar to Killer Croc of TLBM...

Watch it be shockers head :(

Actually. i don't know if someone already posted this but Shocker's head is different from Starwars generic black head. You can search it if you want. But I assure you it's a two different print.

Still hopes we get Killmonger's new face print.

I hope we get a good look at Killmonger's face underneath that mask.  I'm curious what kind of head they used for him, or if it is a completely new print like Nakia and Okoye.  Hopefully it's new since the character has a goatee in the movie.

Then again, that didn't stop LEGO from reusing the Gandalf head for Hank Pym :hmpf_bad:

I won't get my hopes very high, I'll give TLG a 50/50 chance using a new print.

    Thanks for the support!

To be honest, the pics don't do the figs real justice -- initially when I saw the figs without inspecting them in hand, all I could focus on was the lack of printing on the headpiece, arms and legs -- but I can tell you that the design and print on them are really well done -- very happy with them.

Will be doing a full review on YouTube.

Awesome! Nice pics and atleast now we have the confirmation that those figs are legit. Can't wait for the reveal of the whole sets!

I love getting variants of costumes like Batman and Ironman and Spiderman. Though the Ironman ones are often too similar and the Batman ones just get silly. :P

I want that new Spiderman costume!

Pretty sure that will be one of the most awaitiedminifig of 2018 wave, Iron Spider. My hopes are high with this one seeing how they did the SM: H Stark upgraded suit , very intricate and with great desigin ( tho mask is just a re-use ) I'm looking for a same level or much better printing for Iron Spider.

As for Ironman, like in the concept art that was shown, he will be supporting cannon arms / alien like wings / it would be really awesome to get a new mold for those elements.

Mario_Power on Instagram told me that someone has leaked pictures of 4 minifigures from the IW sets, them being Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Thanos. He said he can't reveal any pictures just yet. But he did tell me that Spider-Man is in fact in is Iron Spider outfit as seen at the end of Spider-Man Homecoming. He will be such a cool minifig to own!

Hmmmmm. I don't want to question the credibility but I'll believe when I see it.

I whole heartedly agree, apparently a credible source out there has leaked 4 of the minifigs from the IW sets. (Captain America, Thanos, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. I don't know if this is true or not, I heard it from Mario_Power on Instagram.

He's known for leaks but he isn't owner of the leaks itself.

If he has the pictures, I'm pretty sure that if he won't post it, someone will.

Soon we'll find out about that figs. hopefully it turns out to be true.

  13. There's so much confusion with those upcoming sets.

Smallest infinity war set is listed as a 3rd black panther set. Hopefully someone can confirm this mixed up.

Two ant man and the wasp black set boxes popped up. One looks to be about $20 and the other one $50-60

Same question, where did you see that information?

    Thanks!

Are we expecting the (I’m assuming Cyborg’s 2017 variant) cannon arm with the anti-stud? Or something along the lines of the android arms from Alien Conquest and CMF series 3? I honestly think Lego could give him a gunmetal arm/hand and cal it a day, depending how much it’s shown uncovered in the film.

    14 minutes ago, Falconfan1414 said:

My guess is they do it exactly like cyborg, using the new arm mold with the stud shooter attached to it

If possible I really want a new mold, removable hands that turns into cannon with just replacing a stud on it. But I can see the cyborg arm being reused so no surprise for that.
